  1. Sean Melone-avatar

Best Reddit viewer I've used on Android thus far. Great customization options, clean interface, and support for multiple accounts.

  2. Sebu-avatar

Guys what did you do to the swiping? Now I can swipe to go back from the right as it invokes the sidebar. Thank God you included a option to disable this.

  3. Paavo Rotstén-avatar

Works really well and is much better than the default app.

  4. Linus Andrae-avatar

Last updates increased stability and in general nice app Dude approved

  5. Kristijan Spehar-avatar

Why i cant post anything in any group? Also when i comment it says its submmitet but it doesnt come up anywhere

  6. Nithin Thomas-avatar

can we get a tiny space for top 5 subs that WE get to choose? i dont wanna scroll from top to bottom. Meanwhile, thanks for the effort, squad. All heroes dont wear capes.

  7. T Lag-avatar

    Looks great and works well

  8. Jordan Anderson-avatar

Its great, but could be better. I bought the paid version because I think he deserves it. This app is solid. There are a couple quirky things that I haven't been able to do, such as ; Search a specific word or phrase on someones profile, and follow specific people (I can be their "friend" but it doesn't put their profile anywhere I can access easily). There are a couple more but they arent app breaking in the slightest. Great app, just make those features available and it'll be perfect. Thanks

  9. Margherita Peloso-avatar

    Margherita Peloso

This is a really good app, and I'd love to keep using it, but it keeps crashing randomly on my Huawei P10. In the middle of reading a long text post, while viewing a video, while scrolling, this will happen multiple times no matter how light the usage is. Granted it's helping me to cut my Reddit hours, but it's quite annoying. Would recommend otherwise!

  10. Sharas Games-avatar

Been using sync (pro version) for years and I generally like it. Lately, though, it freezes my entire phone and I have to stop the app (after waiting for my phone to unfreeze) and restart it to get it working again. It's pretty frustrating.

  11. DJ Cross-avatar

Pretty good, missing the one thing that has stopped me from using any unofficial Reddit app - sorted subreddits. I'm the official one, we have favourites subs, line break, normal subs, line break, users. Whereas on here they're all cramped in to one cluttered toolbar with no gaps. Add this and I'll happily pay :) Also viewing users that I am subscribed to does not work..

  12. Babin Family-avatar

It's ok. The reddit app has a better feel for navigation, but lacks some abilities. This has those missing features but lacks fluidity. You can't have stacked view and the ability to swipe between posts like on the reddit app. But the reddit app (as of late) hasn't be reliable at saving content where this one is. It's ok, just ok, but it could be so much better.

  13. Rylan Ziehlke-avatar

Almost perfect except for one key missing feature: the ability to auto-hide posts that I've already seen. Until this is added, I'll be using a different Reddit app that has this functionality, which is unfortunate because I paid for the ad-free version of Sync.

  14. Classick World-avatar

I don't see an option for Custom feed. Which is a big deal. So back to the original Reddit app I go. Update: Nevermind I found it. For anyone who has this same issue, it's on the left sidebar with [M] at the end of the title. This is a really clean app. 5 stars.

  15. Mohamed Abe-avatar

Clean, uncluttered, no-frills layout. Font sizes, comment sizes and post sizes are perfect, app is really really smooth with responsive swipe gestures, automatic night mode, push notifications, easy access to ASCII emotions (eg: ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ > no missing arm).

  16. Ayush Agarwal-avatar

This is probably the best Reddit app out there. However, I have two issues. One, Imgur album images aren't shown in their original Resolution and two, Sync isn't able to share short permalinks.

  17. Nicholas Ester-avatar

Used to love this app. Sleek and smooth. I even bought the pro version. Months later, I change Google accounts so I'm back to the ad version. Everything was fine for a few weeks until I heard a weird sound I'd never heard coming from my phone. Turns out the ads play sound now. That's an immediate uninstall from me. I can't have ads randomly making noises on my phone. Hope the dev(s) look into this.

  18. Demetri Alexopoulos-avatar

    Demetri Alexopoulos

My new favorite Reddit browser. Everything is laid out in a way that makes sense and convenient to use. Being able to move to next/previous posts while reading a post by long swiping from side to side would make it perfect.

  19. Amateur Programmer-avatar

    Amateur Programmer

Notifications, when they show up at all, show up half an hour after they show up on Relay. Tapping a notification shows you only unread ones and hitting the back button takes you out of the app. Images show up full size in your feed so scrolling takes forever, but they're cropped so you have to tap them anyway. There are a number of bugs, error messages couldn't be less helpful if they tried... One thing I will give it though is it never double posts comments.

  20. Daniel Carline-avatar

used to enjoy the app and be a big fan. but these days it's full of bugs and if you ask the community you just get told to buy the full version which definately does not contain those very same bugs. hard crashes, random sounds whilst your phone is locked, many GIF's have playback issues. These days there's not a lot between it and the official reddit app.

  21. Khodor Bouorm-avatar

Not the most intricate or fancy client but it's sleek, efficient, and gets the job done; with a very implicated developer.

  22. Peter Sorensen-avatar

This used to be 5 stars, but the ads are downright distracting and excessive. To be fair, I have no problem with ads, especially to support a dev team who brought us this app for free and works nonstop to make sure it keeps working...but come on guys, these ads are rediculous. I'm super disappointed that I bought pro. Also, I get error ALL THE TIME. My god, what did you do? Worst developer ever. I bet your mom cries herself to sleep every night because it's so hard having you for a son.

  23. Erik Dreyer-avatar

Decent app, but what all images are cropped. Thus, you need to open every single post to see the entire image. On the normal reddit app all standard sized images are full sized. This sounds like nit picking, but made my experience unpleasant.

  24. Alan Rait-avatar

So far so good. Have used Synch before, a few years ago. Have been away from Reddit for quite a while now but kept finding Reddit answers appearing in my search results! It's a MASSIVE source of information and Sync does a great job of putting it in some sort of order. A year or so later....all good. App works well, get's me to where I need to be. Currently there's a few crashes, on ChromeOS, but it's not mission critical so all good!

  25. Lizzy-avatar

Apparently my first rating was removed, cool. I can't comment on anything in this app. All it says is that there's an error. No other info. Clicking the notification does nothing. It's completely useless if you want to connect with other users whatsoever. EDIT I can't post any post actually. Nothing quite like going to the official app subreddit only to NOT BE ABLE TO GET ANY HELP. I've logged out and back in, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Nothing has helped

  26. Chris McClean-avatar

Quick, reliable Reddit client that has support for playing/consuming a wide variety of media formats built in. All functions are available, though it can take a minute to find everything. Would recommend for browsing Reddit!

  27. Marcus Thomas-avatar

I don't mind ads in apps, and I don't mind paying for an app either to support a dev or just to remove ads. I do mind frequent, obtrusive ads in free apps and even more so when they're repetitive. Seeing the same Postmates ad every time I open this app makes me want Postmates less, and is making me uninstall this app before I even get a chance to see if I enjoy using it enough to pay for it. Back to Boost.

  28. Nicholas Hylands-avatar

    Nicholas Hylands

decent app but has an infuriating feature where every time you hit the back button it resets your scrolling and exits the current page. I often accidentally hit the back button after half an hour+ of scrolling, sometimes right before I want to look into a specific post. needs a forward button or option to disable the back button exiting and resetting everything.

  29. S L-avatar

paid to remove ads years ago yet my payment never registers when i install the app. also, still having issues with image download location. it allows me to set my sd card but doesn't actually save a file. try to set back to default internal and options stop at "emulated" and doesn't actually save a file there either. is it still possible to request a refund?

  30. Kevin Saunders-avatar

Almost Perfect! The only thing that would make it better would be the ability to open the link in a post even while scrolled far down in the comments, instead of having to scroll to the top.

  31. Ivan Navi-avatar

Needs few improvements; it's should remember subs choice of view once set e.g best/hot/new as it's worthless action to do every time you open sub. Official Reddit app has this functionality for almost a year

  32. Drew Hoffman-avatar

Pretty decent app for Reddit, shows more of the subreddit customization than other apps I've used, and is easy to use and navigate and more fully functional than some other apps for Reddit that I've used previously.

  33. Sam Liddle-avatar

I have used this app a lot. Over time, it's started to crash more and more, and it's gotten to the point now of crashing every 1 in 3 posts I view. I view a post, wait around 5 seconds and it crashes. I think it's finally time to try out a different Reddit app.

  34. Mister X867-avatar

Out of nowhere now this app gets loud ads that don't even appear on screen. That's right, you're not even shown what's being advertised, just loud audio. This brings it down from 5 to 1 star, it was the best Reddit app and this most definitely makes it the worst.

  35. Dean Kautz-avatar

Even when you haven't opened the app for a while, it won't refresh and reset your position unless you do it manually.

  36. John Wolfe-avatar

Logged in and cant post or comment always just says "error sumbitting" or something. Use this app if you want to simulate account suspension. Good UI though

  37. Jeremy Clemens-Mierau-avatar

    Jeremy Clemens-Mierau

I am a very particular user. This is probably the app I've used the longest and I've never had a significant complaint. The dev is heroic and the UX rules, especially list view. The only downside is the extra hours I've lost to reddit because the app feels good to use and never gets in your way

  38. Yuno-avatar

Images don't scale full size and it's really hard to read comments. Can you add customization options for this?

  39. Toni Hannula-avatar

Stuck at the launch screen. (black background with the logo) Eventually android catches it as unresponsive. I'm on Android 7.0, Huawei Honor 8

  40. Arthur Six-avatar

Excellent app. Does pretty much everything you could wish for (and more)!

  41. Vincent Paul-avatar

GARBAGE, install if you'd like a crappy app to display ads every minute that hijack your phone causing app crashes and OS bugs such as: completely disabling sound, on everything, make your touchscreen unresponsive, freeze your phone completely causing you to miss any important communications that demand urgent attention.

  42. Filip Sever-avatar

Vast amount of customization options and feels great to use. The only downside is adds being intrusive, mixing with other posts while scrolling through your feed. Putting them on the bottom of the screen would be way less noticeable

  43. Jack Shaw-avatar

Perfect but you should be able to long tap each sub on the main list for the sub sidebar; easy to unsub/clean up subscribed subs etc

  44. Jeffrey Hines-avatar

Amazing so far. It has features that other reddit clients make you pay premium, such as auto night mode. Theme customization is unparallelled and the most important thing to me is the compact mode is just brilliant!! So much information is able to be displayed.

  45. Ronnie T-avatar

Overall nice app. Best parts of many different reddit clients. Poor rating because I paid for upgrade to no ads instead of downloading sync pro and I still have ads. When trying to update, even uninstalling and redownloading, get "error removing ads"

  46. Brody Latter-avatar

This is easily the best Reddit app available on the Play Store. The only issue I have is the screen going to lock screen or blank during gifs. Otherwise its 5 stars. Edit: It would appear this issue has been resolved, 5 stars

  47. Asha Booker-avatar

Good interface, but subscribing to a new subreddit is harder than it needs to be and I still haven't figured it out. There's tons of ads but it's no big deal...I did switch back to Relay though.

  48. C. C. G-avatar

Fav, pretty awesome really. Clean UI, there's no real learning curve and it is still Reddit.

  49. Paul McKersey-avatar

Great for browsing, but issues with submittimg. If you're a lurker or just want to upvote/downvote (or comment), go right ahead and enjoy. However, if you want to submit content I suggest you find another app.

  50. Alan N-avatar

Pretty good. Better than the official Reddit app for sure. However, I have a few issues loading Reddit photos/ videos/ gifs. Not always, bit sometimes they just don't load. This happened on both of my phone's.

  51. Rohan Wallace-avatar

The customization is great. The only issue I have. It's major one. I get zero notifications. I did everything suggested and still nothing. Had to uninstall. Other than that it's great app.

  52. Bapak Malas-avatar

Pretty good apps but after recent update, picture or gif take a time to view. Slow and sometimes error message pops up

  53. Blair Shaw-avatar

I love this app and it's infinite customization, clean layout, and amazing , but I paid to remove ads and I am still getting them. I'd really like it if I can be refunded for that as I purchased Sync Pro shortly thereafter which doesn't have the same issue. Definitely something wrong with 'upgrading' which should be removed. Aside from that I'd be happy to leave five stars. Please reach out to me, dev team!

  54. Katie Poetsch-avatar

It's a pretty good app, pretty user friendly, and nice to be able to customize so easily. It does have some odd things to get used to, but once you do it's easy to understand. Also, it's nice to support a smaller creator.

  55. Sai Kumar Ramadugu-avatar

    Sai Kumar Ramadugu

This is a quality app for reddit. Some minor inconvenience in using it compared to Apollo food Reddit on iOS. One example of this: for new cards I see partial photograph in Sync compared to full photograph on Apollo. Other than that this is working good for me.

  56. ctrl_alt_ el1te-avatar

    ctrl_alt_ el1te

This is by far my favorite app for reddit. No issues at all, smooth, fast and user friendly. Nice work y'all.

  57. Dustin LeBlanc-avatar

I've been using this app for quite some time now. I uninstalled BaconReader in favor of this app. since the last update I'm now getting ads when looking at pictures and videos and they pop up a few seconds after the picture or video is loaded. I don't mind having ads in the app as I'm browsing categories but I don't like them being intrusive when I'm trying to view the media that Reddit links to. If I could go back to the previous version I would. Since I can't I'm very likely to uninstall this app as soon as I find a suitable replacement

  58. The Big White-avatar

It's really good, probably the best Reddit app, but for some reason with the newest update when I click a Reddit link sent through text or through a Google search and try to view it, it's almost as if it's invisible and I just see the front page and have to hit back to interact with the front page. When that gets fixed, it'll be a 5 star for me.

  59. Aaron Rice-avatar

Intrusive adds placed where they are accidently hit constantly. Ads with blaring sounds that cannot be shut off. The user interface is not intuitive and thr developer ignores all problems. Stay away from this app.

  60. Timothy Hestenes Lehnen-avatar

    Timothy Hestenes Lehnen

After a bit of time spent understanding the settings it becomes a clean and pleasant way to browse.

  61. Shota Tomura-avatar

I have no issues with this app so far, it's simply a brilliant reddit app. I wish sometimes there was an offline mode (or maybe it already exists I am not sure) where I can read posts and comments that I downloaded beforehand.

  62. Elliott Long-avatar

Phenomenal Reddit app. Literally the best I've tried. The only issue I have is since upgrading to an S9+, there is a strange framerate issue with gifs where there is a slight stutter. Not enough to ruin them, but definitely noticeable. With a fix for that, it's a perfect app and even without the fix, it's the best mobile Reddit experience you can have.

  63. Mira Meffie-avatar

easy to personalize, lots of extra features (like being able to speed up and slow down gifs, and being able to see what percentage a post has been upvoted) no problems

  64. Michael Scalzetti-avatar

    Michael Scalzetti

Best reddit app I've used. Period. The only thing I wish it had was a gallery view (the swipe view is a good alternative). Ads are mixed in with posts, and I wish they were marked somehow; I tend to accidentally click them, but it definitely is not a deal breaker for me. Everything else it does perfectly, and you can even "sync" posts for offline viewing. :)

  65. Emomilol-avatar

Wonderful and sleek reddit app. I've been using this for over two years and never looked back. I paid for ad removal almost immediately because it's so cheap, and it's an app i use every day. I've had no problems at all with the app and i don't understand why people use apps such as reddit is fun or the official app.

  66. Clément-avatar

Great experience, moderate amount of ads for free users, awesome customizability!

  67. Shane L'Amoreaux-avatar

    Shane L'Amoreaux

A very customizable and snappy reddit browser. The high levels of customization make for a difficult to navigate settings menu, however. The menu with the live preview of a reddit post to change is brilliant though and makes those settings less intimidating. I was also disappointed to find that I cannot copy images into clipboard, but the vanilla reddit app doesnt allow that either so Im not very hurt by it. Overall, I recommend this app. Well done.

  68. buttbong-avatar

Haven't had a problem with this app for years but now it won't post comments or save drafts. I could type out a novel and hit post and it will just disappear. Super frustrating.

  69. Steven Hultgren-avatar

    Steven Hultgren

I really like this app. It has lost of view styles, a nice dark theme, nicely layed out. I didn't choose this one though, mostly due to the lack of reader mode in the browser. It has a weird work-around for 2-factor authentication (other apps work just fine though so I'm not sure why it's necessary). It has in-line card ads and subtle banner ads in comments which can be removed for a small one-time fee.

  70. Chris-avatar

Doesn't work with blockada I'm not dealing with ads and pages not loading I'm not paying for the "pro" version unistalled ap will just have to use pc version of reddit.

  71. B Boy-avatar

Just perfect! Customization and scrolling are the best of any app.

  72. Patrick-avatar

Easy to use. Clean and very customisable. Great app.

  73. Justin Lee-avatar

Great app. Used it for years. But the latest update does not save the position anymore. So when i lock my phone or switch apps, it goes blank and i have to refresh. Very disappointed. The whole purpose of my using this app is i can read reddit and never refresh throughout the day. I will have to find an alternative

  74. KapitanWalnut-avatar

Overall decent browser, however it allows ads to play sounds upon loading, meaning you'll be reading an enjoyable thread and all of a sudden sounds related to the ad will start playing. Very annoying. seeing as most apps make most of their money by displaying ads to their free users, you'd think they'd want to make the experience less annoying for free users. I'll check back in a few months to see if they fixed this issue, until then I'll be using a competing Reddit viewer.

  75. Lucas-avatar

Nice features. Gifs work and images load fast. Edit: after 1 week of usage it turns out that gifs don't load better than the original reddit app. Also it crashes regularly.

  76. Manish Rai-avatar

Best reddit app in the play store. Intuitive UI and smooth interface. Quite a lot of customisations and an overall great client.

  77. Adam Snape-avatar

great app with *almost* all the control you need. better than any other Reddit app I've tested but find the placement of some of the controls (such as search) awkward to access hidden a couple of layers deep, also can't control the placement of such menus. would much prefer search over refresh on the main tool bar for instance. I'm also not too proud to admit it took over a day of use for me to find the right swipe menu! all in all, better than the rest but not perfect.

  78. Jean Leong-avatar

Since the update, it failed multiple times to load on my Android. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling hoping it'd fix the problem but didn't. It's a gamble each time I try to open it now whether it decides to load or not. Have also sent feedback and system logs to the developer. Hope it'll get fixed soon!

  79. Eduardo Grimoldi-avatar

    Eduardo Grimoldi

The app is great but the last update made it so when you want to search, the keyboard pops up but typing wont actually type anything into the search box. You have to press on the search field first, which makes it very frustrating, especially since this wasnt an issue on previous versions. please fix.

  80. Annas Ansari-avatar

There used to be a viewing option to have full-sized cards but it's no longer an option.

  81. Gerald Vegas-avatar

Been using this app for years as my mobile reddit client. However recently found it very slow to play embedded videos or gifs. They will play for a couple of seconds then stop and seem to buffer for a long time. Tried clearing cache, reinstalling, etc to no avail. Same links using the official app play instantly. Would switch back to this if the issue gets fixed but for now its too frustrating to use.

  82. ATastyElixir-avatar

i can't really find anything worth nitpicking. its a smooth app, fluid animations, everything I'm able to do on the desktop version seems to be achievable within the app. I wish other public forums/social media apps were designed with the solid foundation ideas this app has. Gonna have to drop the coveted 5 stars on this terrific alternative to the reddit app.

  83. Bobby Bobberson-avatar

So i got the app. Tried it and un installed it. Didnt like the gestures coming from the basic reddit app. Then i learned that you can have the same gestures on this app in swipe mode. Problem is, swipe mode makes you see every single post. While just looking at one, backing out, finding the next is much more efficient. Turned out i now love those gestures and cant live without em. 1.5 years after i first downloaded it, here i am with sync pro! Keep it up!

Great client with nice swipe or tap actions to hide, and undo if you mess up.

Pretty good app better than the official app although i would like to see a bit more customisation it's still a solid app

**edit** Super quick response from the devs with an update and fix. Looks like everything is working now. 5 stars. I loved this app until today. When I try to visit my front page it only shows 2 posts and when I open those no comments load. When I try to view r/all it says "your filters have blocked posts from loading." I have checked and I have no filters set in the app. If there's some setting to fix this I haven't found it yet. Guess I'll go back to RiF for now.

I don't know what happened with the update, but every time I tap on the thumbnail/image, it opens the post itself, not the link or image. Before, I just have to tap the bottom portion of the card if I want to see the post and comments. Tried to check setting but can't find it. Help?

Great reddit app, but the purchase option to remove ads isn't working. It's saying I need a Google account on my device even though I'm currently logged in.

Great, clean, customizable, but getting rid of the ads it adds costs quite a bit.

Love the speed and customization features. Only complaint is the search function needs to be a little more simple. Wish you could just search and once you get your results then you can separate it by post and subreddits. Now you have to open the three dots, hit search and then choose between post and subreddits

Nice breath of fresh air coming from the official reddit app that was a laggy mess. Animations are nice and smooth but I could recommend some better one handed use.

Really nice idea but had sooo many bugs it's not funny anymore

This is so much better than the official Reddit app. It doesn't drain my battery and videos play back normally. The night mode and dimming of read posts are nice touches. Also unlike the official all, clicking on a Reddit link doesn't open a web link that asks me to download the Reddit app to view the Reddit link, either. Imagine that.

I love the app's customizability, especially the ability to add a hide button, which is the key feature that made me choose this app. All the gifs and videos work well too, which is more than I can say for the official reddit app. I wish it had a notification icon in the main window when you had a new message and that it was easier to get to messages. I also can't find a way to increase the size of comment text, which is too small. Last, I don't think it's quite as clean and attractive as others

Not much to say, works how it's supposed to, as well as features I didn't know i wanted. Pretty solid app, especially compared to the official one.

No updates since April. Still a decent app, but it has been abandoned.

Overall a fantastic app, layout is good. It's easy to use and has a fair amount of customization options. My only complaint is that purchasing the ad free version only removes the ads in threads, and not in the actual feed. If it weren't for that, it would be 5 stars all the way.

Feels more like a pile of android libraries than a complete app. Inconsistent Gesture directions, terrible media player, weird menu place. Weird menu placement.

It's better than the official reddit app and better than reddit is fun. You don't lose your place when you switch tasks for too long. Good UI. I have no reason to try another reddit app.

I used to love this app for browsing reddit but now they have terribly annoying ads that flash brightly across the screen and theres no way to report their ads any more. some are scams saying your phone is infected and other are just for games but they have animations flash and jump across the screen. I do not reccomend this app at all until they fix this. normal ads are fine but these have gone too far
