Playing the news over Chromecast has been broken for years now. Randomly skips clips in the queue, sometimes in the middle of a clip. Recently also developed a fun ghost mode where if you pause playback on the Chromecast, it will start playing a random clip again unprompted a few minutes later. Hard to believe this is a national broadcaster's official app.

Update 2020.10.08. They fixed the back and forward for external devices. From 1 star to 4. History is still wierd and suggests to continues to listen to stuff I already finished. Update 2020.03.02. They really don't care. 2020.02.12. Someone is playing around whit stuff they don't understand on the dev side. Using external device to go back in then app, now goes back the full program and not 15 sec, and forward don't work at all. Some beta testing should be mandatory...

It seems like one of your latest updates has caused the app to pause playing sometime after the screen is locked (happens almost always when playing the news playlist). The app resumes playing as soon as the screen is unlocked. This problem does not happen when I use the browser to listen to the news.

Userfriendly but crashes non stop (android) plus if slightest dip in 3g or wifi signal; the radioshow im listening to starts over. Unbelievably disturbing. Same goes if im downloading a show, its showing as Downloaded but in fact its not. Not always but way too often! Annoying if I'm for ex downloading for listening on a flight later, then realize its in fact not downloaded, just shown as such. Since all pods are available on other podcasts, better use those
