Sprouted Pixel Dungeon is a free Open Source turn-based roguelike rpg game that builds upon other open source Pixel Dungeon modifications with permission from the developers. Sprouted PD is a major rework designed to have expanded leveling and upgrade opportunity balanced by tougher mobs and bosses. A goal of this rework is to lengthen dungeon crawler gameplay while maintaining a casual rpg experience. Source is open and currently available here: https://github.com/dachhack/SproutedPixelDungeon/tree/v0.1.1 Sprouted PD is forked with permission from the open source code of Shattered Pixel Dungeon (0.2.4). Major reworks and additions were done to create a very different playing experience and a game that is not the same as the original. Add more seeds to even out the amount of meats you get, I had like 15 mystery meats from mobs before the third level and like 2 seeds. Do add more to even it out. And the mobs too, I get there's a bunch more for more food but they're way more tougher to fight at just the first level with the basic items. This could be a really nice game, just work out these issues. Until then, you get 3 stars from me. Lowering to 2 stars, game is way too uneven in food and items and enemies.

Pretty cool version, though I have to ask. Why doesn't the ring of frost get stored with the other rings on the chain?? My chain isn't full, but the ring of frost refuses to go with them, instead staying in the main backpack area. Seems odd, when even the ring of destruction goes with the normal rings. Just a small nitpick of mine.

Do you know how annoying it is to grind for over 2 days to get to level 150+ with a wand of fireball at 200+ and then the game gets corrupted becuase apparently shooting a level 20 Wand of Flock into sokoban 3 causes the game to kill its self. Overall wonderful game and I love it even with moments like that.

The dew mechanic is neat but it's horribly under balanced. I've rarely made it beyond the 3rd floor because the quest monsters are insanely overpowered vs what kind of equipment or upgrades you're likely to get in the first 2 or 3 floors

Love the idea of bigger dungeon, but its dead, last update in 2016. Its supposed to be simmilar to shattered but shattered changed a lot. Would be great if dev came back or someone took the idea.

Please work on the rew mechanics. It's now hard to get dew from draw out dew because when I kill just one monster it stops

I wanted to like this. I did. But I downloaded this for a more laid back style to shattered and found it MORE infuriating then the original. There's random second hits on both random weapons and enemies, there's less variety of enemies, and the bosses have been turned up to INSANE mode. I had 9 mending potions and +6 weapon and +6 armor tier three of both and got destroyed by tengu. Absolute nonsense. Sorry. I'll change ranking if it changes but until then it's a worse version than the OG.

Soooooo good. Kind of grindy, but I'm into that. I've played all the pixel dungeons and I have to say this is hands down the best. There's so much content and the story is interesting amd compelling. The gameplay is refreshing and new, but it still has the nostalgistic feeling of pixel dungeon. This is my favorite game of all time.

One of the most creative mobile hames I've ever played. It has too many secrets to keep track of in one sitting. It always has something new. Extremely challenging, keeps me entertained when I find something new. If you want a challenging game, try this one. Ive been playing it on and off for about a year and still keep finding new things (have not beat it yet). Best part about this game is that its free of charge and doesnt need wifi. You can play pixel dungeon anywhere you want.

I love this game but recently it keeps corrupting my files. I've just lost several perfect run games which took so long to build up. If the developer reads these reviews- I've contacted you before about bugs and had no response. I know you're busy, but... It was working fine yesterday, and today all my games are lost. Any advice?
