Description
Spike is an App for IMC systems. It’s a simple application that aims at operation with the Light Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (LAUV), but supports any IMC compatible vehicle.
It supports live monitoring of data, vehicle teleoperation and commanding plans and other helper commands over Wi-Fi (launcher, come near, dive). It has other interfaces that help you for instance find where the vehicle is using the phone’s location and heading. At the moment it is more tailored for AUV operation, but it will eventually evolve to other types.
The main characteristics are:
- IMC compatible App (https://github.com/LSTS/imc)
- Operate the LAUV AUV (https://www.lsts.pt/systems, https://www.oceanscan-mst.com)
- Monitor telemetry
- Start plans
- Start helper behaviors (launch, come near, dive, keep station)
- Interface to find the IMC system relative to you
- Interface to teleoperate
- Inspect data from the vehicle
