Used to be great when I first bought it 7 years ago. Now, it keeps bothering me to upgrade to S2 and buy new speakers when my old speakers are still working. Sound also started showing buffering issues years ago after an update. Never was the same.

have early Sonos hardware. it's not recognizing the system anymore so trying to reset but to add back my products it wants me to update the app. my version is up to date. it was never the most seamless app but it's managed to go from mediocre to horrid

Microsoft called, they want their zune developers back. The utter lack of compatibility of this POS is surpassed only by the uselessness of the UX on a system that couldn't connect two Legos. At least the system is expensive and doesn't work with Bluetooth.

Way too many mandatory updates, and all they do is mess up my system that was working fine before! Can no longer connect to Apple Music, Grrrr!

Got a Sonos Play 5 (gen1) for a steal since they're discontinued and gen2 is taking over, so I'm stuck w/ legacy app support. However, I haven't had a single issue with it and it sounds amazing. My couch is raised a Lil bit so I put it under the couch and the vibrations really crank through the couch! Feels like you're on a rocketship. Wonder if Sonos app has a track that plays only frequencies that happen to stimulate a certain..Ya know, if, in case a lady friends sits on my Sonos. Or the couch

Years ago (5+) when we bought our Sonos speakers, it was great. I could play any of the music I had compiled into various folders on my device. I could browse the folders, select a song within and it would play all from there, Perfect. Now after many app updates and changes I have a true hatred of the app and Sonos's lack of the customer needs in their designs. It has become impossible to play what I want To keep this shorter and sum it up. Sonos dictates how you organize and play your music.

Great app. Ready to use. Reliable. Great customer service if there's an issue.

The speakers sound amazing but this app is beyond ridiculous. 80 percent of the time I can't get the speakers to work and the app constantly refuse to recognize the speakers. I spent alot of money on my Sono speaker but am very regretful and would never recommend them to anyone.

Frequently inconvenienced by updates. Press the sonos play button only to see it beeps red lights at me. Then I open the app and am forced to update to use my system. I don't understand why these updates are mandatory, the system was working fine. I'm happy I received my sonos product for free and don't think I'll be buying more.

Terrible app. Always seems to have terrible connecting. Whenever the app updates, like it did recently, I lose connection to my speaker. I can't connect back to it! What's the point of having a speaker of you can't play anything from it?
