Looking for a good file explorer with a sleek, modern look and many features? Good to see you here!
Solid Explorer is the best looking file and cloud manager with two independent panels, which brings to you a new file browsing experience.

This is the only fully featured file manager with Material Design you can find in the Play Store. It's better, faster and solid when compared to the competition. Apart from the ability to manage files in almost every location, it also gives you many customization options, such as themes, icon sets and color schemes. You can freely adjust the interface to match your taste. Dual pane file browsing with drag and drop greatly increases your productivity.

Solid Explorer is a great cloud file manager, because it provides you a wide support for cloud storages including Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, OneDrive, Mega and Owncloud. This file manager can also connect to your Windows PC and many remote servers working with FTP, SFTP and WebDav. By the way, you will appreciate the ability to create or extract most commonly used archive formats, such as ZIP, RAR and 7ZIP.
Maybe you're tired of ugly looking root explorer apps? This file manager will meet your needs. It features a root explorer with ability to change system level file properties. You don't need to remember about mounting file systems as read/write. Solid Explorer will do it for you automatically.

Solid Explorer is also a great file manager for viewing your media. It can arrange your photos, videos and music in one place for easy and quick access. It has a built in music player and image viewer, which even allow you to play remote content stored for example on your PC, Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive. The most cool thing is that the content can be casted to your Chromecast.

Just give it a try! You will not be disappointed.

Reviews From google play store

Very well-designed. It would be perfect with the edition of bulk Uninstall of apps and swipe right from main screen to open the menu. Not sure why I can't uninstall apps via Solid like you can in ES. When you delete an app in solid you never get a prompt to uninstall and it just comes back with refresh. If that was added along with the quality of life ability to swipe right to open the menu tab (left is to get to your second workspace) the app would be 5 stars easy. Sync works great too.

An app that does for file management that ES File Explorer does for adverts! Gotta admit, this product works on everything I've thrown at it; Philips TV, Nvidia Shield, HP Chromebook X2, Sony tablets, HTC mobiles... Its my goto app for file management, as the dev(s) fix issues quickly so you can be sure it works as advertised.

This newer version looks great and way more polished that the previous classic version. Clean easy interface, works with all my storage (NAS, FTP/Cloud/FAT/exFAT. The only thing this app will not utilise is NTFS devices which is a shame as USB SSD and M.2 storage devices are large cheap and extremely portable these days. NeatBytes please look into providing this. The optional FTP server adon is really handy for other devices being able to browse and read/write from my phone/tabet.

Tries to get you to buy the full version twice. I had the full version of Solid Explorer on another android device on the same account, but with my new phone, it requires an upgrade again. It's a great file manager but requiring an upgrade for each device kinda sucks.

I purchased this file manager because at the time the stock file Manager did not meet, what I consider basic file management functions. It is still to this day one of my apps that I consider to be very useful. I got me a new phone which is running Pie 9 with the OneUI interface and one of the nice improvements is to the My Files stock file Manager I am finding it just as useful too. But SE File Manager still garners my vote for one of the most useful tools for management of all your files.

Recently switched over from a different file explorer and SE is just better all around with the exception of the batch rename feature. 4 stars for ease of use and simplicity. Would have given 5 starts if batch rename feature was more intrusive meaning allowing to rename file only preserving ectension and adding numbering with ability to start from certain number.

Update: Fixed it. Looks like it's a windows mess up again. [Old Comment: Cannnot create a new LAN/SMB connection with my PC. Please fix this as soon as possible. Without that LAN/SMB connection feature I'll have to move on to a different file explorer.]

needs some TLC that's Fa sho. issues all the time when I want to move data around and I'm rooted. sucks I paid for this app too. my other free file manager apps work fine even better than this one I paid for. damn!

I tried almost all file managers, this is one is not bad, so I bought a full version. Unfortunatelly after about a year of using it I am starting to regret my decision. Cloud support is unreliable: creating box entry on different devices sometimes works, sometimes does not work - and I always checked that box access works. There is no pCloud support. The developer is completely unresponsive (I tried many times). Uninstalling.

Looks good, but I can't use it. On my chromebook, I work 90% of the time with Online MS office documents (Word, Excel, etc.) but SE will only allow me to open them with the new subscription programs, which I do not have on my Chrome Book. I haven't found a way to change that and haven't found a human in the help screens to ask for help. So, so far for me, it's pretty worthless.

Really good app, seamless integration on my phone's and chromebook's file systems. My only problem is that I bought the app with the intention of using it on both devices, but the full version purchase is not being recognized on my chromebook device, since I bought it on android.

2 issues. sliding between left and right tab/ pane isn't quick enough. so the next command I'll do is someone's in the window i switched from. Also, the music player doesn't have a notification, and can't play in the background while using the file manager. other than that it's near perfect. only other thing I can say is I can't use this without internet because it needs purchase verification.

Great overall and much better than the Oneplus file manager. Only weird thing I encountered is when I unplug a usb device from my phone, Solid Explorer goes to the Root folder directory and I am able to view and copy the files there. My phone is not rooted so I think Solid Explorer should default to that location when a usb device is disconnected :p

Really like this app. Couple of issues though: SE seems to have trouble opening .rar archives and fails immediately. I had no problem opening the with a different app so they weren't corrupted; Also, SE frequently doesn't give me the option of opening a file with a weird extension in the text editor. I think it should be available for opening all file types, whether they're actually meant to be or not.

Great for deleating junk files and PDF downloads. I would also reccomend this if you have the problem with ad catche and random images showing up in folders in the Google Photos app. This app lets me take charge of my phone and use it to the full potential.

I downloaded the trial version and really liked the app so I purchased the full version in a couple of days. Then after 14 days, I couldn't use the app as it kept saying the trial expired, I had to go to android store to open from there, I'm wondering if uninstall and reinstall will solve the problem. That's why I'm giving the app 3 stars.

I was a longtime user of ES and still think it's great but, I am a Solid Explorer user now and can't go back. The split-pane view in landscape, the side panel, the cleaner layout and the themes are what put it over the top for me.

App is pretty good overall, but don't force a "Rate the app" button at the top of the storages list. With space for only about 10 buttons on my screen, this is wasted space and aggravating. You want your rating, you got it.

Fastest, nicest and most solid explorer app I've ever used, no contest. Gorgeous presentation too. Premium not required to use, but I gladly paid for it. Uninstalling all other explorer apps. This app is no joke, it's what you've been looking for.

previously I said I cannot find the hidden folder.. That was my mistake I was not able to find.. Now I cannot delete or edit the old review.. app is good... purchased the full version... *Recycle bin option would be appreciated.. *
