Looking for a good file explorer with a sleek, modern look and many features? Good to see you here!
Solid Explorer is the best looking file and cloud manager with two independent panels, which brings to you a new file browsing experience.

This is the only fully featured file manager with Material Design you can find in the Play Store. It's better, faster and solid when compared to the competition. Apart from the ability to manage files in almost every location, it also gives you many customization options, such as themes, icon sets and color schemes. You can freely adjust the interface to match your taste. Dual pane file browsing with drag and drop greatly increases your productivity.

Solid Explorer is a great cloud file manager, because it provides you a wide support for cloud storages including Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, OneDrive, Mega and Owncloud. This file manager can also connect to your Windows PC and many remote servers working with FTP, SFTP and WebDav. By the way, you will appreciate the ability to create or extract most commonly used archive formats, such as ZIP, RAR and 7ZIP.
Maybe you're tired of ugly looking root explorer apps? This file manager will meet your needs. It features a root explorer with ability to change system level file properties. You don't need to remember about mounting file systems as read/write. Solid Explorer will do it for you automatically.

Solid Explorer is also a great file manager for viewing your media. It can arrange your photos, videos and music in one place for easy and quick access. It has a built in music player and image viewer, which even allow you to play remote content stored for example on your PC, Dropbox, OneDrive or Google Drive. The most cool thing is that the content can be casted to your Chromecast.

Just give it a try! You will not be disappointed.

Reviews From google play store

Fantastic all around. So much better than ES file explorer, this app is snappy with a simple interface. One star taken off for mentioning Mega support but you actually have to pay extra for it. It was a little unclear. Also, taking up screen real estate begging for a rating. Still, works remarkably well across local and cloud storage services, with virtually every feature you could need.

I'm happy with this app, enough to have purchased the full version. It would be super dope if you added a feature to help deal with managing space on the phone, then it'll be perfect. I absolutely love how it handles network features, and I can't wait to start using the Chromecast as well. I'm really looking forward to what your company does with this app.

Had a problem with copying files to my SD CARD but it turns out my phone simply needed a reboot... Bought this app because it's neat and has LAN and FTP support. As a bonus, the visuals of the GUI is customizable. Used ES File Explorer for a long time but it became stale and has to ditch it and find a proper and better for explorer. The race was between FX and Solid, which the latter won and got my money. For my needs, I couldn't find any downside.

Good explorer with no junk features. But still have so much scope for improvement. Some of the options even in the premium version is rather glitchy. Folder options are not reflecting as per selection. The folders are too much spaced. You can't have 4 columns and keep a decent folder icon size in the current version. Once you make columns 4, folders become too tiny. Correct these and we can improve the rating

I love this app, but the fact that it has to check registration every single time I open it makes it completely useless. I'm frequently without an internet connection while traveling, and the app just locks me out every single time because it thinks the trial period had ended. Great app, when it works.

I have used ES File Manager for years. As a heavy file manager/FTP/Compressing files/music player/video player/start up manager/and more that I can't think of at the moment, it's hard to beat ES File Manager. Well last least the old ESFM. Solid Explorer offers options and functions I never knew I wanted. Having all my cloud servers in one place is definitely nice. All the small details that have been put in the development of Solid Explorer can be seen almost immediately. Almost perfect!

Indispensable. Unbelievably powerful and simple to use. I use SE all the time, and have grown to depend on it. Please support this app. I use SE to upload, manage and organize 15 years of family photos, and it was the main tool I used to migrate from Dropbox to Google Drive. I don't remember using such a powerful app that was this user friendly. Extremely well done.

The best file explorer app for Android keeps getting better! It started off great, but it has grown into something even better. This update was big enough that I honestly expected to have to buy another license, but no new license was required (thanks Dev!). Root explorer, drag and drop files in split windows, incorporated cloud services like Dropbox, FTP, and you can even customize the colors! It's got it all, and does it well. You can stop looking now. This is the one you want.

Hey very nice app man, though I just have one problem with FTP server that it does not support Wifi Hotspots. It needs my mobile to be connected to the wifi to be able to create a FTP server. There are other FTP app on play store that let me create an FTP server with my HotSpot. It would be great if you can add that.๐Ÿ™‚

love, love, love this...I am a senior citizen and not much more than a novice on the computer. I am currently using a Chromebook and they're just frustrating in the steps to delete photos and images! However, this app takes care of them beautifully! I and my peace of mind thank you! I wish that it had not taken me so long to learn that the Chromebook required an app manager!

Solid exolorer is too good, i was a fan of es explorer pro, but it has privacy issues and was removed from playstore. But Solid Explorer is the only App i can live with after that. Just wish it had more options for Root devices, like option tounistall a system app and to backup and restore system and user app. If these things are added then I'll give 5 Stars, after that this app will be indispensable. Can you please also add Recycle bin to this app, important files get deleted by mistake.

The best explorer ever... But for some reason, the root capabilities which were a really strong suit are now only partially functional. Everything else works great. Some folders are missing in the root directory. I installed root browser byJrummy and managed to open the folder, but the file I had to wait didn't open on both the explorers. I'll be more than happy to give 5stars to this app, but I want the devs to help me out, especially when I have paid for the app

I have paid for this app, version 2.7.7, but it sometime displays "Billing unavailable. Please try again latter" or green "Solid Explorer: UNLOCK FULL VERSION", especially when not connected for a while. That looks like cheating on buyers. Besides, on Android 10: it can't install apk files. It says "There was a problem parsing the package". No response from developer yet!

0 star because of the dark privacy breach within the app. This app has analytics enabled on this app. The worst part is that without our consent our usage data is monitored and sent to the servers. This is enabled by default. So if a person doesn't check the settings of the app after installation, his privacy goes to hell. Instead a fellow user must be asked for consent and wish whether he wants or not to send that usage data.

This is a nice file explorer. However, it seems that even if you pay, you don't actually own the product. One problem I had with it this when I was trying to access some movies I downloaded on a flight. It had no Internet connection and it decided that I do not actually own the app and told me to buy it. I was unable to do anything about it, it's as if I never bought the app. Luckily, the godawful stock file manager saved me and I was able to locate and open the files.

I love the navigation, it makes sense and it is clear. The dual screen thing is great and I use it a lot to move files around. I really appreciate that you can customize the themes and colors used throughout the app. Could use a color wheel selection though.

(see previous editions) 1 star to 3 stars because I found some CHrome OS interface issues were causing problems. Cannot open a folder with the trackpad, must use touch screen. Awkward in laptop mode and I didn't think to try it for a while. Only had one pane open by default and resizing window didn't get one to appear. I'm not sure what I did, but now it opens with two panes and copying to SD card is now possible. App probably needs more adapting to ChromeOS from Android or something...

The best file manager for Android, by far. My only nitpick is pricing structure and lack of 'family library' support. One time price is fair to own the app. I propose making version with FL support and charge a couple of dollars more. Or at least let add-ons be FL compatible, so I can purchase core on my mom's phone and still get my add-ons free. Either way, family library support gets free exposure when more people see it becoming the defacto standard. J.ust my 2 cents. Great app tho thanks

UPDATE: 9/1/19 Android TV version is broken in that it doesn't provide a way to change drives using the controller (only works with a mouse), making it impossible to select files on anything but internal storage. So much better than the other app I'm used to. Does everything it is supposed to and it's FAST! I used to think there was something goofy with my SMB servers at home and work, but with this app everything flies! Looks nice (customizable) as both an older material app or pie style.

Solid Explorer is my favorite Android File Manager, and I have used it on other devices. However, I have had consistent problems with SE on my Chromebook. Soon after the initial install, it would freeze up, and I would need to close the app and restart it for it to work again. Currently it's main problem is that after the last upate it won't connect to Google Drive, and I have not yet been able to determine why. My rating will improve once the app is fully funcionaly again.

Great functional interface! Asks to buy again when I've already paid. This happens when I'm not connected to the internet. You should change the license check system. Searching without category selection is awfully slow. Two things to do for 5 stars!!

Very fast, beautiful, clean, with both common and secondary features. โ€” It would be nice if I could copy/cut/paste from one panel to the other without having to drag-drop. Another minor thing is the bookmarks list - it should let me rearrange it by dragging folders, or tap-holding to get a menu or option to remove folders, without having to go to Menu > Bookmark Manager. โ€” Otherwise it's great, love the file encryption, separate from protected archive, and the name of the directory I just left.

Fails to work, i keep getting asked to pay for it when i already have payed for it months before, i did give it more stars but since it started flaggin trial period ended you must unlock i have downgraded the star rating until it gets sorted...Figured it out why it bombs me out when i start it, if i'm not connected to the internet the app cant check to see if i have purchased it so it kicks me out, can you fix it please so i dont have to connect everytime as i have limited access to the internet

A once great app which is no longer usable with OneDrive. The developer has been MIA for months after promising but not delivering the implementation required by Microsoft. Do not buy if OneDrive is important (or if ongoing maintenance and a responsive developer are important) to you.

Awesome app. Only one feature missing and that is FTP Client. Overall this is the best app for storage related operations. Super easy to use. No bloatware. It can also perform root operations. Big thanks to the developing team.

very good file explorer and a similar experience to the classic es file explorer that i used for so many years. something that is needed though is a music player in this app and the ability to select a folder or all files in that folder and set to play. Es did this and was very useful. otherwise very good. Edit, More updates done recently but still missing the above Play music function for all files selected.

PLEASE!!! consider adding a recycling bin. EDIT: Also, after a recent update encrypted files need password AND fingerprint, you cannot choose just fingerprint like you should be able can't just tap on the file and then use fingerprint! And with encrypted files on SD card the fingerprint option shows up right away, but after saying "correct fingerprint" it does nothing. I appreciate the recent updates (finally), we're getting closer. You can do it. Lol

Valet Parking for your files! I went from the Classic (after purchase) to the new and (*OMG I got a nosebleed)...trying to keep up. Download and check it out. one caution: buckle up! All jokes aside this is a brilliant piece of art. This team takes pride in their work. It shows! We give "Two-Thumbs Up"

Lost my pictures trying to move from internal storage to sd card. Used the transfer option as I could not access sd card by using cut paste method. Very disappointed with app. Lost many memories...I wont trust it much now. Not sure if files are cached somewhere. I can't find them.

Add ed25519 support for logging in to sftp servers. I couldnt get this to work so I guess it only supports rsa? Add a streaming API for network connected devices so I can directly stream a movie from network into a media player instead of downloading it first. Other file managers use temp files to do this.

Sorry but as much as I want to give it five star rating this file manager has become very buggy, file operations as common as move/copy/delete fail, sometimes file just gets corrupted, sent many bug reports but the developer doesn't respond or even fix the bugs. Please I request you to make it better again.

really good feature packed file manager. only problem i have, having bought the full version, it needs to check online every time it loads to see if full version has been purchased. if I have no internet (such as when im travelling abroad), i have no way to access my files because it locks me out of the app.

Excellent file manager! I've used Solid Explorer for several years I think, and chose it solely for its two pane design. But I haven't found a better option, and I've definitely looked to see if any other decent choices exist. I've even gotten several paid alternatives, yet nothing else has as sleek a design and plethora of features. Only slight negative is mediocre transfer speeds for network locations, even with wired Ethernet. But it's not a huge deal... so keep up the good work devs! Thanks!

This is a really great app. I love the simple, polished interface which makes it really easy to move or copy files even between drives, such as Dropbox and Google or One Drive. Other apps I've tried - including my chromebook's standard files app - don't offer these features and/or don't synchronsie so easily with those cloud storage drives. very occasionally, I discover an app which actually transforms an aspect of my work-space, and this is one of them!

Overall nice. UI is beautiful. Alas, when deleting file/folder, no information is shown regarding name and size of item to be deleted. So there is a risk of misdeleting something. Another thing that "scares" me away is data usage. Many other apps don't use any data in background, but, alas, not the Solid Explorer. Due to mentioned problems, I prefer to stay with more loyal Total Commander (though last has somewhat worse UI).

I was amazed! Can you please add a slideshow option for the SE Image Viewer? The default one. As I have many pics stored in the cloud and I enjoy watching them as a slideshow on Mixplorer, but I wish I could use your app as it's far superior to Mixplorer. Thanks! Will give you 5 stars as soon as you add the slideshow option. ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

Just purchased it... Really nice interface. But why no rar format? I understand that it's proprietary but Why can't u just add it? Since many files we download are in rar we again need to rely on es explorer kind of things. And also straight forward application backup is also not possible in a predefined folder. Every time we need to specify it... How frustrating is it!!! Please add them.

Solid Explorer is truly a great file manager with zero adds, good speed and has allowed me to uninstall ES File Manager, which was once great but is now full of adds and constantly trying to install third party apps. Solid Explorer is fast, has good LAN/network control and works well with USB/OTG on my Nexus 5 & Nexus 7. Well worth the small cost to purchase.

One of the best File Managers on the Play Store. The reason for one star less is that it doesn't work from an Android TV Box GUI point of view. When you try to copy, paste, delete or any other commands that appear at the bottom of each panel, the icons don't appear. Plus it's very difficult to access these commands using a single basic remote like the Nvidia Shield TV remote. I suggest that a separate toggle switch be created in the settings for Android TV mode and separate the GUI.

Hands-down to the fastest & friendliest file explorer I had tried. All features are right in-my-face and easy enough to let me decide what to do next (like the ftp feature). Pricing is also a plus I got hooked in no time after few hours of trial. Just perfect to my needs. Hope you'll be keeping it simple but great like this. Cool~ Tips: I think connecting through hotspot could narrow down the security issue of allowing the connection anonymously.

This is the best file explorer for mobile I've ever seen, and it handles root perfectly. Beautiful, clean, and intuitive UI. It should be at the top of the list on the Play store, IMO. Nice work developers.

Serious bug in the new version!!! When the app is not opened, upon opening Chrome it shows "Solid Explorer keeps stopping", then Chrome just crashes. Batch rename has led to file loss. And how can I let it counts from 1โ€ฆ? I hope there could be an unlimited number of panels. Besides, when I copy or cut a set of files, there should be a buttom bar with "new folder" at another panel, too.

Anonymous Access is Enabled By Default!!! It is a security risk to have this enabled all the time that would allow the developer or anyone else to access your files. It should only be enabled if and when needed then disabled again. Anonymous Access is a method by which any user can gain access "without" the need of a user account! To disable it, Tap the 3 horizontal bars top left. Select FTP Server at the bottom. Tap the 3 dots in top right corner and uncheck "Anonymous Access".

From what ive seen, its the best file explorer currently on the market. There are many things I absolutely love such as how good server integration and ui are. I have a few small complaints however. 1 - it sorts files and folders by letters before symbols such as ~ (other apps dont), which I use for folder organisation. 2 - It takes slightly too long for the keyboard to come up when renaming files. 3 - The last gripe is that drag and drop requires you to hover files over folders for a bit too.

I tried loads of other file managers before this (ES file explorer wasn't bad) and no others since. Solid explorer allows you to do everything you can do on a pc. Move files (in duel pane landscape view) by drag and drop, pressing the โ‹ฎ symble and selecting transfer. Solid explorer also reads and unlocks (with a password) encrypted .rar and zip files as well as having its own encryption protocol. Well worth the investment as so mucn better than the alternatives.

Looks good, but I can't use it. On my chromebook, I work 90% of the time with Online MS office documents (Word, Excel, etc.) but SE will only allow me to open them with the new subscription programs, which I do not have on my Chrome Book. I haven't found a way to change that and haven't found a human in the help screens to ask for help. So, so far for me, it's pretty worthless.

Awesome file manager. The included features are beyond what I needed, especially the cloud storage integration. I'm giving it 4 stars at the moment only because there is an annoying bug where upon switching to another app, Solid Explorer tends to freeze and it forces me to kill the app entirely to regain control. Doesn't seem to happen on my phone with Android 7.1 but only does so on 8.1

I absolutely love this app. It has a clean interface and it's very easy to use. I ran into an issue where the app would not recognize I had paid for it when off of WiFi and cellular but this was fixed by clearing the play store app cache as well as the cache for the all itself.

Just install and buy pro version instantly.. But its kinda buggy.. I cant connect to dropbox (blank on login phase) and cant find a working way to add my nextcloud (already tried using dav and owncloud). Please help.. Its been month now, no sollutiom for nextcloud amd dropbox.. Better buy other app.

Why an Android doesn't come with a file manager is beyond me. Solid Explorer does everything i want and quite a few things i didn't think i wanted until i tried it out. I love rotating the screen to landscape mode and having two file folders side by side. The search helps me to find the strange default locations programs use for storage. I had one problem 1-2 yrs ago that caused an issue with my University's security system and the developers addressed my concern almost instantly. Great job!

Compact phone user here - wanted to take control of my file system and use offline storage for various things, as had been relying on good drive due to confusing android file system. Can hide folders with this app, great dual pane copying and transfer, and Google drive integrated so I can easily transfer between computer and phone. Great interface, slick, comprehensive whilst still feeling very simple and integrated. Made a real genuine difference to how I use my phone. Cheers

Many of the folder sizes and number of files inside folders are WRONG. They're still displayed incorrectly even if you restart your phone! This has been a long-standing bug in this app. The developer couldn't care less โ€“ he refuses to respond to emails (despite lying w.r.t. promising to do so); and uses bots to generate automated generic replies. In reality, no user emails to the developer are even read, let alone responded to. It's despicable behaviour.

He couldn't care less about bugs anymore. you can report them but he never responds or does anything about them One classic example is after v.2.5.4 the drag and drop animation is broken. holding down to drag files will cause them to disappear visually. I keep reverting to 2.5.4 after checking. we are now on 2.7.0 and he's obviously not going to address this bug. Just sloppy now, such a shame.

Wish it were a little easier to find certain folders such as Ringtones, Notification Sounds, image galleries, etc. Ability to bookmark a location and set default location would be great too. Finally, why can I not delete files from within the app? I was trying to cleanup duplicate music and there was no way to use the multi select to delete.

Worked fine before so I purchased the app but now I can't delete files in my SD card on my Note 10+. It says too many bind arguments and doesn't delete anything. Used to work before. Please fix. Uninstalling and going to stock file manager for now.

2.7.7 : Copy, cut operations do not appear in status bar when the app is put in background in a flaky way now. Looks like it has its own mind. So copy will be interrupted. Thanks to flimsy bugfixing, its difficult to reproduce now. Confrats. Basic operations are messed up in 2.7.X series. I am struck in 2.6.3 version. Please correct the blunderous bugs again.

Amazing file manager, I'm sure some good amount of work has been put in here so ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ.1. Great interface, different theme changes (I love the black & onyx theme).2. Great synchronization of drives (Google Drive, One Drive, Dropbox & many more).3. Can play files from folders (one downside is that files do not go 'next' automatically, going to the next song/file is manual). Other than that I haven't seen any other problems.4. Constant updates. I would recommend this app to anyone in a heartbeat ๐Ÿ’ฏ%

I use my phone as my personal computer. This app helps me do that better. For example, I love the way you can turn your phone in horizontal and drag & drop files between the main memory and an external memory. I also like how I can easily connect to an external WiFi drive I have.

A great experience! Easy to use - navigate; cut, copy and paste; rename; transfer file from one place to another or even to other devices. Updates are frequent from incremental to significant changes that are mostly for the better.

An exceptional file manager for Android. I've used this app for years and it's never failed to impress. Always well maintained, meeting the latest security and design requirements, and always works perfectly on the latest OS updates. Couldn't ask for more.

I m not at all happy with it's performance. I bought this app thinking that it is a better option thn es file explorer, but sad to say it's not. While deleting large number of files, it hangs, and don't delete the selected files. Even after deleting it doesn't refresh the remaining size and other information

How to copy between internal storage and SMB? Previous revision, I can copy between these, but i can't go into SMB server after I trigger copying files in internal storage. It seems I can't switch to other "drive" after selecting files to copy.

I use SEClassic on my old Tablet still and thought this was a great app. The updated version is an improvement - very well thought through and executed. Well worth paying the one-time fee for! Kudos!

The most pleasant file manager available on the play store. Has all the features you'd require in a file manager ona given day. 1, Has Cloud Storage management (Onedrive & dropbox). 2, Has Root Storage Management (Poking and proding in system partition can be dangerous). 3, Has Network File Management (SMB & FTP). 4, Has Multiple Theme prebuilt and further customization can be done. All in all a worthy app you should install & purchase the premium version of!

Everything works great on here besides trying to edit a text file , it moves the page all the way back up when I try to write something in. Also with rooted users it doesn't delete system apps as a thought it did so pls fix.

None of the F.A.Q sent to my email solved it. It's laggy, choosing SD Card from drawer shows the same content where I was at. Right. No answer. Another error: I've opened the app and most of my local videos (about 100) were in My Music folder. The hell I moved them there.

1st I thought its the best app i have ever purchased.. Then the problems started. I can't open the app in offline. Ads are now showing everywhere. What's the point of this after purchase the full version?

Please fix the problem when entering a fingerprint on encrypted files. It's completely useless.. And please fix the app becoming unresponsive after switching to another app and then back again. It's been ages and this problem (that is simple to reproduce) still exists.

Tried the trail to see if copying files from my raspberry pi ssh share would work. Using the sftp option it works great and the twin window makes copy and pasting easy as i dont have to go back and forth beetween the share and my phone sd card. The transfer speed in the progress window is a awesome thing. Well worth the asking price ($2.99 USD at this time, $1 off if activated early)

The best file explorer available. Looks fantastic, with many options to customise. Split screen view operates great with drag and drop. Many cloud and network options to view and transfer files to/from

It's just awesome the UI is very simple and minimal, love it. Functionality is too good smooth and easy to use. Even the root explorer is niche to use,;One of the best purchase i have made. This is love, no regrets at all. ๐Ÿ˜

Great especially with a chromebook and Google drive. It allows you to encrypt a file then store that encrypted file on Google drive and ALSO allows the option to have the unencrypted file to remain on your hard drive. It has an option to allow Solid Explorer to work directly with Google drive or, if your like me, not give that permission and just do one more step and go into your standard file manager and upload the encrypted file from there . All around a fantastic app.

Unable to cast via Allconnect. Issue isn't present when selecting the file via a different file explorer. Tried different types of video file. Other than the above, the app looks sleek, runs fast, transfers files very quickly and has quickly become a favourite file browser.

Great file explorer, love the application's functionality, usability and performance. One suggestion for improvement though - Solid Explorer needs to clean its cache upon exit. Temporary files cached from encrypted Zip or network may pose a security risk if left in the cache.

can't be used when offline because of repetitive license authentication. why do i need internet connection everytime i open this app just because its' license needs to be checked? i've already paid for it.

The best File manager app available. I have used solid since it released i originally downloaded pro using alternative methods and bought it immediately through play store. This app is so great that i purchased it to keep using. I definitely do not think anyone would be disappointed. I am so happy the original unlock for the original solid explorer works with updated version thank you devs.

*UPDATE* bulk uninstall now works. Very well-designed. It would be perfect with the edition of swipe right to open the menu tab (left is to get to your second workspace). Sync works great too. Sometime saving files from server to device and vice versa doesn't work. Otherwise exceptional.

I've tried a plethora of file managers but I always come back to Solid Explorer. I love its slick design, simplicity (although the more advanced options are more hidden away so that the UI doesn't feel cumbersome, which I like) and raw speed. Solid Explorer is everything a solid file manager should be ๐Ÿ˜‰

In my opinion one of the best file managers. Very powerful with a clean UI that is in keeping with the android look. I hope there are no major UI changes in future because it feels perfect

Glitch in text editor. Immediately after selecting text, you are taken to top of document. Very inconvenient as you need to scroll down and find your selected text manually.

Updated review: Solid Explorer is still plagued by a huge bug โ€“ it consistently gives an incorrect number of files in a folder. Since the developer refuses to acknowledge this issue (let alone fix it), my 1 star rating will remain unchanged.

what a great customizable file manager! I've tried them all. I'm a techie, and have used several over the years. I think it uses it's own picture viewing plugin, and if prefer to customize that;. zooming is very limited.

THE GREAT File explorer app I've ever used. Super Worths every bit of money I paid for this app. One more thing I love about solid team is that they mention every upgrade/fix in what's new section. every other developer in existence should learn from these guys.

I've just installed it, but so far it's been great. Does a lot of the things ES Explorer did that I liked (before I learned that app was reporting usage on us). One thing I haven't seen on Android before: I like the dual pane option when rotating the screen to landscape.

This is the first app I have purchased. The UI is good and easy to navigate. Please add recycle bin, Downloader, transfer to pc options. It would be more helpful. If themes could change the background colors it would look great...!

I used to love the functionality of es but its gone. File transfers are a bit difficult sometimes i just wanna be able to hold down on the file, and copy to paste it to desired location such as /sdcard. Ill add the other star when its easier to use.

I am paid user of Solid Explorer but sadly never actually use it. Layout isn't as good at usability as even built-in file browsers like Samsung's and Mi's. And then there's fading icon transition which plain annoying and bad UX design, which surpsingly lacks an option to turn off.

Paid for full version and a week later when offline I was unable to open the app at all since I apparently didn't own it. Let me down when I had no internet access, not acceptable at all.

I keep forgetting to rate this app. Because the dev doesn't nag you for a rating... This is by far the best and most useful app on the Playstore. You can delete Dropbox, Drive, OneDrive, etc. Delete Files App from Google. You don't need those, they are terrible.... Use Solid explorer instead. Really!

Reached out to developer several times, no replies. App is flagged as not verified by Google. So not linking it to my Drive, which as a local file browser isnt worth it as a paid app. Wish I didnt pay for this.

This is a good file explorer and does everything I ask for (and more). There were some bugs introduced in the last few updates, but the ones that affected me were fixed pretty quickly (within a week or so).

After using ES file explorer for 7 years, I was sad to see it go. I wanted to find something elegant with clean UI. I paid for ad removal within a few minutes of installing the app. I am glad I found something this good.

If you could see my other reviews, you'd notice how FEW there are. So, my taking the time to do this, should tell you something. Solid Explore is, by far, THE best file manager app I've EVER used. Could I make a few feature recommendations? Sure. But only a couple things come to mind that would make this app even better. I was so impressed, I paid for the Pro version. As time goes on, perhaps I'll compile a list of ideas for the devs to consider. (If they're receptive to such things)

Even after purchasing this app, standard feature (offerred by other free apps) such as USB OTG needs additional monies to purchase. If you charge more for cloud based feature like Mega plugin that is fine, but for usb connection?!.... Speechless...

Got this app to replace ES File Explorer Pro. This app has a much cleaner UI and many of the features I need and used from the previous app. I hope we get more file explorer windows so if i were copying between mutiple folders I wouldnt have to navigate to them repeatedly, just swipe left and right. Currently there are only 2 explorer windows. Also wish there was a recycling bin. Otherwise its a great app i highly recommend.

It's a nice app, but it's reporting the wrong file/folder size. For example, Telegram folder on internal memory says it's empty, but in reality it's 300 MB. It defeats the purpose of this app for me.

please provide recycle been features as many time i delete thing's and then i realise that was mistaken deleted , recycle been can help me to retrieve accidentally deleted files. 2) in any folder i have sort mode by size and then folder section mode is one , it's show section acc. To size. while when i open other folder which already have sort mode set by date( only for this folder )then folder section should be show acc. To Date, but it show acc. To size.i.e.not able to for each group different.

Mid-2019 updates have added functionality but the UI changes have made the app more difficult to use for day-to-day basic file search and management. More Stuff != Better

SMB connection from Android to Windows Shared folders use to work. With last 4-5 updates that no longer works (i have made no changes to my windows folder share). If functionality like this doesn't work, the app isn't of much more use than the stock "My Files" app.

The core app functionality is great, however background sessions are totally broken and will show sessions that do not exist. These cannot be dismissed as there is no X to click to dismiss. Would be 5 stars without this problem.
