Reviews From google play store

I found it to be okay, and ran smooth enough. Every now and again it freezes up, but it's few and far between enough to remind me of how my super Nintendo did that too towards the end! Great to play some old games again, couldn't find the time to play all the ones i had found, and thats really my only complaint. I forgot how big the snes library really is! Good job on this!

This is the best SNES emu on the platform if you don't enjoy RetroArch's UI (that's quite a lot of people it seems). The only minus I have is that there aren't enough filters/shaders and you can't completely mix and match. Plus the Superscope appears to be bugged. I'd like to see a Lottes or Hyllian style CRT, since ePSXe implimented them. But I can see why they're not included as they can be a bit slow.

Okay, I used to play this app for F-Zero, Top Gear, and many more, but can we at least, have custom button displays that we can do with? To make it comfortable for not just me, but many more using this app? Overall, it's amazing to have the classics come back thanks to this game.

For all the moms and dads who grew up in the 90's playing the snes, this emu is for you. Reliable, stable, and user friendly. Downloading old favourites to my phone is a breeze, and the custom options are a total plus. If you enjoyed snes gaming in the day, grab this piece of nostalgia right away before the governments of the world take away your freedom to emulate. A very BIG warmhearted "Thank you" to the devs who passionately created this masterpiece.

I'm leaving 3 stars only because i can't review it without trying it first. I installed it several times, each time it didn't work. As soon as i try to open the app it instantly crashes. I'm using Android 5 on my Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime. I hope this problem can be fixed.

Chromebook users/Play Store access, this only works with anything below PS1, unless you have a quad core Chromebook, with OpenGl video 3.0 or over, not sure about Vulkan drivers, but my unit just dies below those requirements, stick under PS1 generations should be fine or turn to Pc version of RetroArch or Pi. Its nice to have RetroArch on Android but anything that forks or has no GPU to back it up, seek other means.

I love it! It works smoothly and there isn't a single problem! Good job! Also, i highly recommend gamulator to download ROMs

The update has some issues on my phone...so Im still using Ver.28 which is better in my case..anyway your app is amazing i can play all of my snes games even using Ps3 wireless controller...and remembering back when i was a kid who regularly goes to gaming rental house just to play Top Gear... GOOD JOB!!

When i used this every few seconds tge audio would shut off and come back on... I dont know if its the app or the rom i used, but it bothers me because I love game music and i either let it repetitively mute and unmute, or turn the whole volume off!!

I emulator itself works very well on the Nvidia Shield. However the UX and UI is heavily dated. It would be great to have game cover support or a library feature. Wish it would play more than sfc files as they're is quite a variety of files out there.

So overall this is a great emulator to use, with easy access, allows me to use my wireless controller ect. Sound quality is great. I've had no issues with this.

Good emulator, but it crashes like every 10 minutes on my Chromebook 11 3180. And then I have to start back at the last time I had minimized the app or saved the state.

Works flawlessly, if you you don't want to mess with RetroArch try this for your super nintendo roms. I like both, but this one always works. I use this along with Dig front end on my Shield Tv and couldn't be happier.

Good app guys. But please, two requests. First please make some kind of auto detect feature for roms and pairing a controller. The game searching, is somewhat tedious, but pairing a controller is very difficult. Especially for my GameSir G5 controller. Also, please implement cheats better. Most roms are coming with prepackaged cheats, but I find I still must enter them manually. Thank you, and keep up the good work.

it works fine for me i already try them on different phones and sum of them works badass and sum dont but its a cool app to have i only play RPG's cause the touch screen buttons works good on those games but this app has is flaws but its to kill time playing sum good games

Works well but when I mess up and try to go to my saved state in a game I accidentally press the save state button instead of the load state. Other that that it's really good.

Take a clue from Muppen64Plus on how to make a decent emulator. It lets you choose which folder your ROMs are in and automatically downloads cover art for each game. This one doesn't even have an integrated game browser (you know, with like game cover art...). More laziness!

The response time, even with a bluetooth controller, is phenomenal. Zero delay.

It is very good. I think if this had a feature to autodetect and autofill gamepads buttons would be better. Anyway, it is awesome to play the legendary Snes games.

Undoubtedly the best SNES emulator on the market, yet it's free. Bloody brilliant! Thanks!

The emulator had no problem being able to play any ROMs that were put in the games ran smoothly with little to no issue the main problem was that the emulator was unresponsive and wouldn't react when any of the buttons were touched

This was the first of Robert Broglia's emulators I tried and so far I haven't had any issues at all, also If your using something like Arc Browser then his Emulators are perfect for the job. Setup is easy, loads of options, Learn one and you learn them all because his other emulators are the same to setup. I have them all now I think and I Hope he makes more all with the similar style format.. Simply the best out there . Buy them all

works great but theres a crackling/static sound which happens every 2-3 seconds. it's minor but quite noticeable and irritating

i played earthbound and everything was great. but i got kirby dreamland, the second game, but the buttons werent great. i have to smash hard to control kirby and i always died.

Just missing Bluetooth multiplayer support. Please add this feature and it will be easily 5 stars.

The emulator are fine, game loaded with no problem or lag. But the controller, oh my God....

It's great and all, but some .smc hacks lag and freeze really badly. Can you please fix this?

Can't find any Wii Remote support at all, even though the screenshots claim to have it. What a let down.

Stunning emulator that runs very smoothly and doesn't suck up your battery or storage. Simply plug in the ROM and you are set, and it has my favorite option, which is to make a shortcut to your game, making opening games quicker. Great emulator, and highly recommended.

Controls are super duper unreliable. Forget running and jumping in SMRPG. Can't even reliably run in a straight line.

No issues with any roms loading, keeps steady framerate unless my phone (S7 Edge) gets hot. Great little emulator.

I'ed give you 5 stars but this app can't play translated roms. Maybe you could fix that. Thanks.

My choice emulator for both mobile and PC, has pretty much everything you need and more.

broken. in DKC it's impossible to run and jump simultaneously, to throw barrels up, or jump up off of ropes. what's an emu for snes if it can't DKC?? also in all the settings, no option to increase amount of simultaneous button presses. I'm sure it can play some games fine, but i will not even attempt SMW... thats just sad. the only solution must be to buy a controller or id say this is a dud of an app.

It is good but the B button on my game pad just brings me to the menu again and i kept remapping the buttons and it still did it. And i dont like playing snes games without the game pad

Everything works fine it's just that when I save in the game the emulator doesn't. How can I fix this?

Amazing little SNES emulator. Only issue is that Chrono Trigger has some sort of 'sound crackling' problem every few seconds (using an exynos S9 with the latest update). Tried other games but that problem doesn't seem to occur anywhere else. Besides that small issue, pretty amazing.

I love this app it lets me play some of the best games ever but one thing i dont like is the continue plus reset button next to each other i have hard reseted my games too many times on accident😂 if you could put it in the options menu that would be amazing but other then that its a really smooth emulator

Very good but has important problem. Gamepad input delay is unnatural. It is not good to enjoy with a gamepad. I switched to John NESS.

It plays everything smoothly, never crashes, the "recent" list is really useful, whenever I close the app in a rush I can get back from where I stopped with no problems. Hands down best gaming app I have.

where is the scan for games option? if its not in the first drop down menu this app is trash. because there are a bunch of these apps which can run all those games ok and the technical aspect is irrelevant at this point. but the design is everything. if i have to waste even 5 extra seconds looking for an option that is a common sense to have for this kind of app then it is unacceptable

Very good emulator, but it is not completely user-friendly. Needs IPS compatability. Compatable with usb controllers.

Pretty good. Haven't had any emulation issues and the fast forward feature is a godsend for earthbound.

Amazing app! Got to play all the old games I love. One small thing though, most other rom players have a ×2 speed button. For the sake of time is that a feature already included in there that I haven't found, if not could you consider adding that in there.

Pretty legit, why no full screen thooooo? - 1 star. I bought the note10+ for the screen size so that kinda disappointed me but I'll still use it cause It does the job. :p beggars can't be choosers though

i tested out doom and there are more artifacts and bugs than any other emulator that i have ever tried. barely playable.

Best snes emulator on Android, I've been getting audio stuttering with all other emulators, but this one fixed the problem for me 😁

Possibly the best app ever. But... Loosing save spot sucks. Maybe save state leabes text file to? Transferable from phone to phone.

I've used this emulator for the last 6+years. It has consistently run smoothly across iOS and Android. Good job guys!

This is fine enough for a SNES emulator but there is so little to the custom control layout. And there is no 2x for when you choose to speed up like in Earthbound autofights. I feel bad that there isnt many good SNES emulators besides this one.

Game went well for quite a while until it stopped displaying anything, telling about "GPU rejected shader" Lost a good deal of progress with the game I had, since I can't play it anymore.

It's good for RPGs or game where only one button can be pressed at one time. But platforming, except Kirby, sucks

Configuring the Nintendo switch pro controller to work with this classic console emulator was a breeze. Love the app! Great job Dev team!

The smoothest, easiest SNES emulator for android. Nearly flawless.

input lag. tried everything but the only fix i found was to use another emulator.

Amazing emulator, I've used it for years. But quick question, with the recent implementation of an HD Mode 7 in bsnes do you think you could add something similar to that?

Great emulator with easy interface, but the main problem I have with it is input lag, which seems to be even worse with bigger ganes. If this was fixed I would give it 5 stars.

The best emulator interface of all the ones I've tried. Thanks!

I cant play more then 20 minutes without the app crashing on my chromebook this is a horrible experience.

Great for emulating the classic SNES, and is a port of a PC emulator. You can even transfer saves back and forth, but you have to change the file extension.

Works great can't say I've ever had an issue with any games.

Runs smooth when it works. I'm testing SNES emulators for my chromebook, Acer C910 running Chrome OS 74, this one works great for about 15 minutes or so and then it crashes and shuts down. Happened three times consecutively so I stopped using it.

Great emulator, but I'm noticing slowdowns on Kirby Super Star. Still a 5-star emulator Edit: Kirby Super Star 3's performance is umacceptable, and that's a shame. 4-Stars now. But I'm pretty sure it's because of my device. Amazon can-

This is a excellent emulator but has one problem for me the buttons don't show up but they register as inputs so I would love if u fix that thanks

very good app! what every retro gamer needs it will be your best friend!!! im playing super star wars for snes right now and it works like its right on a super nintendo! one thing though is this app compatible with nes and genesis games or just snes?

Is nice, but the screen buttons are very small.

I enjoy this app so much, but cannot set up diagonal controls on my touchscreen! This makes playing most games really limited and somewhat frustrating. Can you help? The settings options for diagonals didn't help.

this emulator for the snes was the app that got me into emulating and playing older games via emulators, nits very simple and easy when showing the settings and how to get the games going and the controls are also very easy.

Good app no issues but not feeling (fingers) the controls blows you know mongrel.

Only drawback is the screen ratio and button movement. A minor complaint, but otherwise a great emulator. Even allows save states, screenshots and GameGenie/GameShark/Action Replay.

best app, it's faster and more accurate than any other, the only thing it lacks is two player support through Bluetooth or WiFi.

The emulation and features work fine, but you can't press for example B and Y at the same time, wich makes running and jumping in super mario world harder and feel wierd.

I have random framerate drops or delayed input and you can't change the deadzone of a BT controller.

My games are not running at the speed the settings are saying (60 fps)

what the heck? i was play super mario world rom i kept load a whole bunch of save state but then it's crash without any warning whatsoever please fix it or else i can't play super mario world it's make the game unplayable

It's the only good free SNES emulator on the app store, but I wish you could access the menu easier. It almost never works when I press it.

simple emulator, works well, absolutely no complaints. only slight issue with the dpad touch controls, but if you enlarge the buttons enough then the issue doesn't matter

Good job, even in India, USA and Japan games are also there. If I download and play then for me it will not be possible.

its so good! i was able to play Yoshi's island and get to 2 bosses! dont listen to what people say there just mean

Easy to use. Enjoyed playing some of my favorite retro games

One problem: Games that use the SuperFX chip do not work properly. In Star Fox, my controller inputs "drift" - like I'm still pressing the Dpad on my USB PS4 controller, but I'm not pressing anything. Doom is the same way. One suggestion: Can we have a search dialog for the roms folder, instead of scrolling through the collection of roms? Great, emulator. I am enjoying it. Thank you.

It works fine but there's an awful input delay with bluetooth controllers even with bluetooth continuous connect, other emulators of mine don't have a delay so I'm not certain why just this one has it.

Works well most of the time. Occasionally crashes, but it autosaves your game state when it happens, so you don't lose progress.

Well... I cant choose my own screen size and control size but other than that it's pretty cool.

Personally my favourite snes emulator. It allows to change which player you are for your screen controller and Bluetooth controller. By that I mean you can make the controller player 1 and the screen player 2. Or the other way around if you wish. Therefore you can play any multiplayer snes game on the go. Lots of options. And attractive format. It doesn't auto detect your roms so you will have to find your downloads folder but that's not a problem it takes like 2 seconds.

This is a great emulator, and though it's a bit odd to be handling your console controls on top of your game (landscape, not portrait, which offers a normal "game boy" experience), you totally get used to it pretty quick. It doesn't get in your way near as much as you might think when you first start using it. This emulator also has many convenient and nifty features, such as speeding up game play (makes them like pokè battles so much quicker), game shark code capability, and so much more I HAVEN'T yet played with.

One of the best SNES emulators I've ever used. And that's comimg from someone who has sworn by ZSNES since its start (and has historically hated SNES9x for the PC...) Very minor (which could be seen as how its supposed to be) graphic anomolies with some games, which might be limited to SuperFX games (DooM and Starfox are only ones I've seen so far). Sound emulation appears to be spot on, which nowadays for me is all I'm concerned about for an SNES emulator. Which is not to say the graphics don't appear to be spot on as well. Given the nature of phones (i.e. minimal to no bass whatsoever) I cannot stress enough the use of headphones or a speaker. No bass ruins 99% of SNES soundtracks, which is unacceptable. The bass the SNES soundchip puts out is the best in the industry. The fact that this is ad free with nothing else at all going on in the app besides the emulator makes this a 10 star app for me. Thank you for all of your time and dedication to bring us this fantastic emulator! (Sorry for the wall of text. Why fresh hell they cull line breaks from reviews is beyond my reasoning)

Hmm. The most trustworthy SNES emulator. Won't let you down. However, must admit the Super Retro app is much closer to original SNES experience. Framerate seems much smoother, deeper colours, and just feels like I remember. The sprites look more beefy,Super Retro also has box art option and games like Starfox are much more playable. However, certain games, like Donkey kong Country will simply not load on Super Retro and some games crash on that app and saves can be lost. It's excellent but unreliable, whilst this app does what it says on the tin.

i had Mario's Time machine. it was awesome. because you take a thing, and you need to take it to the man. i love old games!

Worked good till I changed storage, now no saves work. Left trigger could be a bit higher to.

This is the best Super Nintendo app you are gonna get. Consistently plays games well on almost any device. Save your progress anywhere in the game even in games that didn't save. Compatible with bluetooth controllers. This is Robert's free app to the public. Give this guy some support and buy some of his his other emulation apps, they are all great. Get some roms for it and play hits like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, or even Street Fighter II. A retro gaming must have app!

very good snes emulator though the control could be a bit more intuitive. and the gui is strange and confusing. other than that this emulator is very good.

It's great emulator. I don't have trouble and easy to use

The emulato is great but I can't make the screen horizontally!

good once you get into the game. but the interface for the menus is hot garbage. id pay to have a cleaner interface with uploadable box art

I have noticed that there is a decent amount of lag that makes most games unplayable if using an XBox controller via Bluetooth. I don't know if it's my phone or what, but the game runs fine except for the fact that the controls have timing issues. It would be awesome if the algorithms for registering button presses could be shortened, or if there were some way to just very simply remove the lag from my gameplay experience. I literally just bought an adapter on Amazon that allows me to mount my phone on my XBox controller to make a decent "portable gaming device". Also sometimes, and often, the button presses will not register.

The game would crash after a half an hour when I play any game. But you did a great job when you made this keep up the great work.

works smoothly. I'm using my cell, and I really need the buttons to be bigger and placed higher. I can't believe there aren't other available sizes and placements for the touchscreen buttons, (or I couldn't find any.) it's so low on the screen that my hands cramp up while playing, and because there is no physical sensation of buttons and they are so small that my thumbs aren't hitting where they need to when the action gets intense and I need to do complex manuvers.

Was playing Earthbound and was puzzled at the menu constantly popping up, then realized it was registering my thumb "pressing" the L button....THEN realized that wasn't even the case, because i would watch myself move Ness around with the D Pad WITHOUT touching the L button and it would happen anyway. Poor coding. Uninstalled.

Great app! I updated recently and needed my play store purchase code to reactivate the app but other than that it's a fun way to play snes games all over again.
