    The app overall is good, my only frustration is that the instant vouchers don't seem to be linked to an external account with the retailer. For example, I can buy a Costa instant voucher, but it would be great if I could simply add credit to my existing Costa account. As it stands I buy a voucher (save 10%), then open my Costa app to scan for points in store, before having to go back to the Smart Spending app to open the instant voucher to pay. Its a faff!

    Concept is fine but app is clunky to use when actually shopping. Eg. Downloading a voucher is very inconsistent across stores and difficult for a novice to use. I get it stored and all different but value in app would come from adding a simplicity layer. Add annotation for vouchers to record balance left else clunky and slow to establish.

    Great app and works well most of the time. Sometimes it logs me out randomly and glitches out but for the most part doesn't happen that often which is good. I like how for the cashback options there's a link straight to the webpage. Wish instant e-gift card option was for all the retailers. Overall, great to use and saves a bunch of money!

    Terrible, this unreliable company does everything it can so that they do not have to give you the offered discounts. I am not sure if this app is less user/customer-friendly or their customer service. Bugs, outages or unreasonable account blocks are just a few examples of what you have to deal with if you decide to give it a try.

    Absolutely useless. App has updated and now there is a bar covering the top row of digits on the keypad so i cant enter my password.

    First instant voucher I purchased was definitely not instant, after 3 hours it is still showing "being processed...try again later". Support tells me it will take at least a couple of days to resolve. For a first time user this is the worst experience that can be had. I will report this to my employer, huge company. So far it's a complete waste of time, and money as my funds are being held in a voucher I can't use.

    The concept is great and easy to use but there are bugs. The app crashes and payment fails but it still holds funds pending in your account for ages and you have to pay again if you want the voucher. I currently have $350 held in my account that I can't access while I wait for it to eventually be released back to me for failed payments.

    Really disappointed. I wanted to use 1250 pounds in IKEA and I wanted to buy 2 vouchers of 250 and 1000. I managed to purchase firs voucher of 250 and the next one limited me to 150. And it's good to know you are allowed only 3 vouchers per day. And this doesn't say anywhere. If I knew I could buy in advance.

    RUBBISH. After latest update it keep asking for magic code which has to be sent to your work email. I'm on holiday and because of company policy I can't access my work email from my personal computer. WHAT IS WRONG WITH USING TRADITIONAL LOGIN AND PASSWORD? And that silly text saying during login stage that passwords are so 90'. I already bought vouchers to use on my christmas shopping and can't use them. That 5 or 6% of saving is not worth it, if you can be locked out of your money because of some idiotic verification process. As soon as i get access to the vouchers I will remove it.

    The help function isn't very useful as it won't allow me to type any responses to the assistant I'm talking to due to the 'Click to reconnect' button not disappearing meaning I am unable to discuss my issue. Very frustrating.

    I hate this app every time I try to use it. It's so frustrating - pin for login (inferior security + harder to remember than character password, why do I need to repeatedly sign in on my device anyway? ) that I always forget because I use the app only once in blue moon. Then the ordeal of entering payment method - why is there address, is 16 digit card number not annoying enough to type on the phone? This app is definitely in the top 5 apps that I wish I would never use.

    Not so good. The last 3 times the app is not recognising card information or isn't able to finish the payment. I think the app should have the options to "edit" card and personal details, which hasn't. Only have option to "add" new card! Still the same (September 2019) And now it is telling me to contact my HR to use it!?! (24/10/2019)

    The vouchers should show the balance remaining within the app. That's the only negative side that if you buy a voucher. Spend some but not all the money and you dont know what's left. You have to go through a long winded process of getting in touch with who the voucher is with to find out the balance.

    It is a little fiddly and it would be a great deal easier and faster if there was a card where the discount could be applied at the checkout. This system is obviously designed to prevent people from using it. The earn discount is not possible to use so actually is useless!!

    Was great. Now not so great. Can't use at coles, target or Kmart anymore as the barcode on the voucher won't scan at the checkout. Can only use at Woolworths.. Now the stupid app won't open and says my email is not associated with any account. My work pays for mine and it's a huge company I'll certainly be telling the managing director of this issue.

    Like other users the app no longer recognises my account but I can log in fine online. Had trouble with it recognising my card a while back too. This app is not user friendly. The whole system is not user friendly. It's hardly worth the time for the discount....

    All fine but whenever you make a payment it asks for your mobile and it won't allow you to copy and past the number in. Also if you have a mobile number on the app it won't let you use that.

    Would be 5 stars, but everytime I make a purchase I get asked for my mobile number. The "add to profile" checkbox does absolutely nothing as I get asked the next time anyway.

    I like the app, but it's hard work. It takes a long time at the register because I need to buy several e cards to pay for my shopping. Then type in long numbers on the key pad. The customers behind me get annoyed. And start shrugging their shoulders, say under their breath how long I take. Then it's so hard to check the balance . It also takes a long time and is so complex

    Worse than the website. This should be more efficient than using a mobile browser, and if the platform actually performed, it probably would be. But it frequently just doesn't respond and I have to resort to using the website anyway. There's no feedback from the app when the platform is broken, just bits of it refuse to load. I'll keep trying from time to time to see if they sort it out, but it's not a great start.

    I use this app quite frequently. However there is one lacking feature that really bothers me. There is no feature to track balance against each eGift card. The latest update (7 Nov 2018) is misleading because they have only included a link to the vendor's website where you need to enter the card number and pin, everytime. It would be great if they could just add a text field for every card where you can manually track the balance. Or better yet, integrate the cards with the vendor databases to update the balances automatically, but I understand this is a stretch.

    Server cannot be resolved. Then says my email address isn't recognised although it logged me in 10 mins prior saying about the server 🤷🏻‍♂️. I wouldn't mind but I've got cinema tickets I've paid for that I can't use. Not good. Feels like I've been robbed.

    Having access to all the discounts is great and there's a great selection, but the app is terrible. Buggy, bad UI, unclear which vouchers are the ones you want (when there's several options and they all have different conditions), and almost impossible to return vouchers if you've bought the wrong ones by mistake.

    Buying giftcards are fairly easy, able to search for shops which help reduce time wasted to scroll. Using cards can be fairly annoying, every retailer has a different kind of gift card, some you have to type in like Woolworths, others you can scan.. some you need tk download into a wallet app... BIG FRUSTRATING THING... you can't see any balances left on gift cards... you have to exit the app and log into the retailers website and type in a 15 character card number + pin...

    What a joke. Pixel 2, and in the initial email entry, the keyboard doesn't come up no matter what I do! No amount of tapping or reloading would do. Please fix! Edit: Turned off my keyboard and blue light filter app and it works. It would have been helpful to have this info available before wasting time tapping all over trying to get it to work. Also I can use my banks and other secure apps without having to do this.

    At first, the app was satisfactory (4 Stars). All purchased discounted gift cards should be accessible directly on the app and not by a URL redirect. Recently, I purchased a Lowe's gift card and it charged my account while at the register. I went to access the card and, after the URL redirect, it stated "This site can't be reached, null's server IP address could not be found. Try: Checking the connection,ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED"

    Not so SmartSpending I'm afraid! Registering via email took ages to receive the code and kept displaying an error message when I tried to send a code. But biggest gripe is that there is no way to quickly check the amount remaining on each gift card without being sent to the retailers website and entering in the long card details into a form. Painful!!! Simple text box on each card to allow me to track amount remaining myself please! Better yet automate the integrations!

    the security systems are over the top and an absolute pain in the ass to work with. This app does save me money, but the security is so over the top that it makes me feel less safe putting in my info. Not to mention frequent problems, like with texts taking forever, not remembering cards.

    it is difficult to check the balance. user has to copy the card number and paste it in another webpage. just by clicking the link user should be able to view the remaining balance on the same page. Also after using a card, if 2,3 auds left user should be given the facility to transfer that remaining amout to the next newly purchased gift card.

    It's really good - when it works, however it logs you out every now and again meaning you can't log back in until you're back in work to receive the log in email - meaning you never really want to buy vouchers incase the apps not working. Please let us send the code to mobile number!

    Overall functions well, however there are some improvements that could make life much easier, such as a way to keep track of remaining credit. There was also an issue with saving payment details that persisted for quite some time.

    keeps crashing. kicks you out have to re log in everytime and takes anything up to 4hrs to long back in again. Report the problems them just to say clear your cookies, yet it does this on more than one device. Normally pretty good but past week worst app on here! Not good when you can access instant vouchers you brought and paid for!

    Doesn't work buggy, Always shows Get Started screen. So even after you login, if you close the app and relogin. It will ask you to register that makes this app unusable. You have to register / verify Everytime you login, bad untested app.

    Twice brought instant voucher with cash back but app does not send valid vouchers... standing at the till with queues behind me very embarrassed as can voucher says invalid or expired!!!! 1st operant refunded straight away, 2nd failed to understand that they are preventing me accessing the cashback I have earned... that they hold! 🤬
