I hope there is screen rotation feature especially the landscape orientation. Using the portrait orientation just limits the space which could have been optimized for better tapping and access.

The app is good, it's just that I can't connect to my piano with the USB cord. I've done every step 3 times and nothing happened. All I can say is, just connect my phone to my piano.

Needs a lot of work. 1. Needs landscape orientation or at least upside down portrait since the usb connection on 99% of Android phones is on the bottom. 2. Almost none of the songs load even if they are the correct format. No additional error or information is given as to why. 3. Back button exits the app. And when you enter again it restarts completely! What?! You can do better!

I am in England. I have a YDP164 piano which works well with my Huawei Tablet. BUT, I used to have a Samsung Galaxy S8+ Phone which my piano would not recognise! I've now got a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G Phone which I thought would work with the piano, no problem. I was wrong! The piano doesn't recognise that one either. The list of phones and tablets that actually work with this App is just too small. Thank goodness for my Huwaei Tablet!

The app is great when it comes to recording, but unfortunately it doesn't download the recorded pieces to Dropbox even though the app is connected to my Dropbox, so eventually the recording is useless, I hope there is a solution for this problem or download options should be increased not only through Dropbox.

By itself it would be sufficient, but as a selling point for a $5,000 piano it's honestly a little disappointing. On my phone, the app doesn't use the full screen, and that's somewhat amateurish for an app. It also crashes somewhat frequently.

Yeah it's okay, main reason I'm leaving a review is to tell everyone to make sure you use a USB OTG (On the Go) adapter. Your phone is not automatically set up to be a USB host, but this adapter will make your phone able to be a host. Otherwise nothing will work (spent a week trying to figure this out, Yamaha instructions not clear) So all those people giving 1 star that's probably what your issue is.
