With it, you can browse large selections of rock forming minerals numbering over 5,000 unique mineral species. As a geoscientist, most likely you may be working in areas without cellphone coverage hence Smart mineralogist hosts all its content offline.
Don’t know much about minerals or mineralogy? Don’t worry, Smart mineralogist has a very detailed and easy to understand guide to get you started on everything discussed in it.

MAIN FEATURES:
• Get on demand details on the composition, physical, optical, crystallography and classification data on 5,000+ minerals.
• Browse through detailed photographs of 2500 plus minerals.
• Perform simple to advanced mineral properties search. For example, you can search for a mineral if you know its color, streak, hardness or to what crystal system it belongs to.
• Learn about minerals through a devoted reading section containing known analogies you may encounter in the realm of mineralogy or geology.
• Manage your own mineral collections with the ability to save favorites minerals for easy review.
