Reviews From google play store

All Skype related applications suffer from the same problems: heavy, slow, unreliable, counter intuitive. They try hard and it is noticeable, but it's been years and years since the last time Skype was considered a good option. It is now just the option pushed to all companies with any Microsoft partnership or relation. I guess it works well when it works. Hope it worked more often.

Overall, I like ther product and features. Like all technology, I do experience the occasion of glitches which can be frustrating during a meeting. I tend to have more difficulties with my mobile device than I do my laptop. The laptop is always good for screen sharing and other collaborative tools.

Terrible and unusable. Whenever I try logging in, I get an error message saying... "We can't connect to the server. Check your internet connection and server address, and try again." I have good LTE and WiFi connection s when this is happening so it's not a bad internet connection. I can log into my one office 365 account, just not the other... See if you can fix this Microsoft...

message disappear sometimes. when you get a notification, you click on the notification, it disappears and the message disappears before u can read it. not sure why there is a need for a list of history on the main page. serves no purpose. not accurate and cannot delete all. makes the UI ugly. The interface of this tools is amateurish. Thanks

It serves the purpose but what I miss the most is a section for missed messages. Once I click the notifications and the chat window loads up, the actual message is lost and I have to request the sender to resend the message which at times is awkward and always redundant. Secondly, the handshake between the mobile app and desktop app is not seamless. It is strange that if the chat is active on phone and one wants to continue it on the desktop, the state is not maintained.

All good. But if possible I would like to see one more feature. Sometimes due to bad network I am switching my calls to Audio only and later I wish to go back to full mode with video. Currently it is not possible unless I rejoin the call.

The app does not synchronise messages and call history with the desktop app. Messages are not received simultaneously both mobile and desktop apps. What is the use of having an instant communication tool that can't even perform these basic tasks well? And these issues are longstanding ones. Please fix it. Thanks!

Horrible. But to be fair it tells you to use Microsoft Teams. When a meeting finally loads I can hear Audio on the phone speaker. The unmute icon just keeps refreshing but nobody can hear me. Trying ear piece since I got a headset connected. Nope. Bluetooth? Nope. All that works in any other app. I just end up calling via phone into conferences if hosted on Skype for Business. However, of course I cannot see the shared screen then. But to be fair just by listening to the others can't either ;-)

Handy to be able to connect remotely to a meeting, but there are a number of disappointing features: * Mute is slow to toggle, and when you need to unlock your phone because the screen has timed out, that's frustrating. * When viewing a presentation, pinch to zoom is overly sensitive and sluggish * Frequently if I want to check on my contacts statuses, I need to close and reopen the contacts list for it to refresh properly

It's a great working tool especifically for when you don't have immediate access to your laptop. However, there are some pain points to attack; for example, sync between app and desktop chats, and presentation is not available without WiFi, which is understandable but with 5G coming, it should be left to the user's decision.
