Sipnetic is a free VoIP softphone based on the SIP protocol. It allows you to connect to your VoIP provider, cloud PBX, or an enterprise telephony server.

⚠️ Important note
Sipnetic doesn’t offer a VoIP service. To use Sipnetic you need an account from a SIP service provider. When you use the New Account Wizard, make sure you already have the server address, login, and password.

•	Compatibility with all standards-compliant VoIP providers and PBXes.
•	Supports calling over 3G/4G and Wi-Fi.
•	Modern UI.
•	Great audio quality provided by the Wideband Opus codec. Legacy codecs, such as G.722, G.711, G.729, Speex, and GSM, are also supported.
•	Acoustic echo cancellation and automatic gain control.
•	Video calls using H.264 and VP8 codecs (Available as a Premium Feature).
•	Support for various NAT traversal techniques, including STUN, TURN, and ICE.
•	Instant Messaging with text and voice chat capabilities.
•	Secure calls based on TLS, SRTP, and ZRTP protocols. End-to-end encryption of chat messages with OTRv3 protocol. ZRTP and OTR support is available as a Premium Feature.
•	Integration with system contacts including built-in contact editor.
•	Presence information support based on the SIMPLE protocol suite.
•	Multiple SIP accounts support with automatic account selection.
•	Ability to quickly configure an account by scanning a QR code.
•	Advanced telephony features: call waiting, placing call on hold, attended transfer, sending DTMF digits, number rewriting, voicemail message waiting indication.
•	Experimental Walkie-Talkie mode well suited for low-bandwidth links.
•	Eight UI color themes.
•	No ads, no user tracking, no personal data collection.
•	Available in English, German, Dutch, Russian, and Ukrainian.

📹 Video calls experience may vary depending on the device and firmware capabilities. Sipnetic always uses the system implementation of the H.264 codec. Android 7.0 or higher is recommended.

Working with voip.ms without stress, a very decent app and in-app purchases are not necessary for basic functions, dose SMS as well! I would encourage you to support the developer(s) and buy the dark theme, pretty cool. Purchases are forever not like other apps on subscription basis

It is a good app for 2 min. but then it starts to echo and just hang up by itself. Anyone else experienced this inconvenience? It is so disturbing and I had to deinstall the app because it is not reliable.

Easy to use but highly unreliable because of ONE WAY AUDIO

Great app. Works very well from my Honor Play/Huawei phone. I had to change the application settings in the phone settings to allow it to run in the background. I like this app because it's well laid out and easy to use. The only feature I miss is that it does not seem to support an ad-hoc three way call (i.e, put one caller on hold, dial a second person and then conference them both in.) For some reason, pressing the button on my bluetooth headset to answer the call does not work. Instead, Sipnetic stops using bluetooth and switches back to the handset. The headset is still paired with the phone though. Means I can't answer a SIP call with the phone in my pocket. Would be useful feature to associate a contact with a sip account, or a number prefix to dial to use a given account, rather than having to switch accounts before calling a contact.

Simple to use, a modern interface, and seems to work very well. Because it doesn't use a push proxy it has to run in the background, but I found the battery consumption to be OK, and it's easy enough to hide the slightly irritating notification in Android 10. After 24 hours, the battery in my one year old Moto One Zoom fell to 36%. During that time I'd made about 40 minutes of regular voice calls and a couple of minutes of calls using Sipnetic. So of the 64% battery used, Sipnetic accounted for 5%. Mobile network standby used 19% and the screen 14%. Phone idle used 6%, Android itself 3%, and my Fitbit 3%. Compared to the other apps it is relatively high, accounting for about 9% compared to 7% for 43 minutes using Facebook messenger and 8% for 45 minutes using Chrome (but of course, Sipnetic was running for 24 hours). So in summary, I think it's great, and the battery usage concerns are minimal. My only suggestion so far would be the ability to specify a "quiet time" (e.g. overnight, when you probably don't want it ringing anyway), during which it could drop off the network and use even less power - even better if this is automatic when "Do Not Disturb" mode is activated on Android.

after installation the app asks for the SIP server. To connect it to my FritzBox I typed "fritz.box" but the app failed to connect. I then gave it the numerical IP address (192.168.xxx.yyy) with the same error message that the server could not be found. The server's name might be incorrect, the app suggested. Surprisingly apps like Zoiper or LinPhone connect to my FritzBox without any trouble using the exactly same server settings on the very same phone. Sipnetic is uninstalled...

I am using this for my work. And it works great. I have a question. This app doesn' have Auto Answer option. If I purchase the premium, Do I need to pay every month to get the Auto Answer or 1 time payment only? Thank you in advance.

Easy and simple to use. Works well. Easily connected to my voip account. But... Very heavy on battery usage. In the past 24 hours it used 53% of the power. The entire Android system used 27% in the same period. Great if you don't mind recharging your phone frequently. >>>> Following on from the reply (8 Feb 2021) from IPTON: Thanks for responding. Actually I thought your VOIP app was excellent and it was only the power usage that prevented me from continuing to use it. If this problem is solved I will definitely be back. Your app has a very clean and simple interface - just what I wanted. Good luck.

This app works fantastic, just one serious issue, it lacks the contact search box. Chosing from the alphabet list is not practical. If you dont remember the 1st alphabet you are screwed

Good, well crafted app. I have several VoIP accounts and this app registers to all of them with no fuss, whereas Zoiper failed most times. Only suggestion would be to make the dialer more obvious and accessible, rather than just on contacts screen. Keep up with the good work!
