• Dual SIM has been standardised from Android Lollipop 5.1 onwards. There are still a lot of bugs in manufacturer implementations. If you are seeing dual sim related errors in the app then try the app after disabling dual sim processing in app options. Also try setting both calls and data to same SIM in Android SIM settings. Consider sending an email to describe bugs to incorporate workarounds.

• A very few phones are not following the signal reporting standard fully. If the signal strength is not updating then this is a sure sign of a broken ROM. This is a known issue and not a problem with the App.

Reviews From google play store

This is the best of the apps like it I checked. First, the signal strength is shown in a big graphic easy to see while you're driving and trying to find a place to phone from. That's the only parameter I want to see, so the others are superfluous. Second, the developer doesn't require you to let him access all your contacts. What's annoying is that when the app opens the screen shows a notification that the app needs Location Permission and Phone Permission for certain functions and there's no option for skipping it. So it requires scrutinizing the screen to tap the ok box, which is not good for drivers looking for a place to make a phone call. I don't mind the ads because they don't interfere with the use of the app. If the notification could be skipped I'd rate the app 5★ and pay for the premium.

After a few years of the free version, I had some Google credits to spend so bought the paid version. My immediate question was, where has the option to make the widget background show as transparent gone to? The widget background is way too dark for my liking making my home screen look clunky. Cheers. Edit: AHH, OK so there's no transparency setting for the Clock version of the widget. How about including a transparency option of the click widget Dev.? Was 3*, now a 4* can be a 5* with work.

Great all-around solution to most any network inspection and troubleshooting use. Provides a complete battery of basic tools and a few advanced extras. Added functions of alerts and Android setting shortcuts show this app was put together by someone who got tired of switching between apps and needed everything in one place.

As my work takes me around the state I am forever subjected to varying degrees of phone and internet reception on my mobile device. Have this app makes it easy to find the "sweet spot" for signal reception wherever I may be working. A very useful tool. Thank you Lakshman for developing this app.

Great Dev support. I have dual Sims and the commute is horribad with tower gaps. Having a graphical view on my phone is great via the widgets to manage and understand which sim will win.

Interesting but some units meaningless, for example how did he determine power, it matters what the detector area is,I So need watts per square cm for example not dbm. It doesn't seem that the meter values change as I move way away meters away from my wifi! As it should decrease.

Good app help me locate my best network place. Still i few data i found at worng places. Also not work on dual sim when only sim 2 is active.Hope it will fix in future. Not support old mobile.

Yagi antenna direction optimised with this app. Great data: used its Signal Strength, Connectivity & Latency to optimise outside antenna. Great app to have. Thanks!

Both Wifi and 4G support, with many useful tools, thank you.

No widget unless you want to pay. Download Fi Switch for a great free widget. (You don't have to have Fi service)

requires following permissions on your android device.

approximate location (network-based)
Allows the app to get your approximate location. This location is derived by location services using network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine approximately where you are.

view network connections
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

pair with Bluetooth devices
Allows the app to view the configuration of the Bluetooth on the phone, and to make and accept connections with paired devices.

connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi
Allows the app to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

full network access
Allows the app to create network sockets and use custom network protocols. The browser and other applications provide means to send data to the internet, so this permission is not required to send data to the internet.

read phone state
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

run at startup
Allows the app to have itself started as soon as the system has finished booting. This can make it take longer to start the phone and allow the app to slow down the overall phone by always running.

prevent phone from sleeping
Allows the app to prevent the phone from going to sleep.

In-App billing
In-app Billing on Google Play provides a straightforward, simple interface for sending In-app Billing requests and managing In-app Billing transactions using Google Play.

receive data from Internet
Allows apps to accept cloud to device messages sent by the app's service. Using this service will incur data usage. Malicious apps could cause excess data usage.
