I find the Sidus Link app quite easy to use. Intuitive and smooth, I got it to work with my Aputure Amaran 200d the first time. Even though I'm only using 1 set of lights, it's nice to be able to control it via the app. It also has neat functions like light meter and optics calculator, as well as lighting floor plan management. I'm sure over time this app will help with my work flow.

Amazing App! Makes it a joy to work with my Aputure lights, especially on a larger set. Being able to make minor adjustments on the fly at a moments notice or completely change a scene in an instance is a lifesaver. Not to mention the continuous improvements and extra features like the Scene Builder. What is there not to like!?

Once you get used to the interface (which is not that hard to do), it is such an intuitive app to use. I don't think there's anything else like it out there. Not only controlling/syncing the lights from the app but you can also make floor plans for shoots within the app which is super useful and is the only free app that does this.

I use mainly the lighting diagram from this app and this has a potential to be the top contender in filmmaking app space ( lighting diagram / story boarding etc. ) in Android market because there are no such noteworthy app. But still it needs work. There are some small issues , bugs and difficulties that needs to be sorted out. Also , some new features needs to be added. If there's any way to join beta , I can do so and give my feedbacks to make the app better. Please develope it further.

This app works so well with the Aputure ecosystem of lights. Whether it's the little MCs, 300 II, or Nova it helps you easily adjust your scene. The best part is you can continue to look at your monitor while changing levels, colors, fx, etc on your phone. I haven't gotten to push it to its limits yet but the possibilities truly are infinite. Thanks Aputure for this wonderful tool.

I freakin'love this app and the Aputure series lights that work with it. No need to move the lights up and down to adjust or ask the gaffer to adjust - you can watch the monitor and tweak away. The built-in FX are great, even better is making your own. Want a real fire effect? Use the app to record a fire - now you have a real fire FX. Since this app has been upgraded, I want to change all lights to Aputure. The speed alone makes this invaluable on indie film where there is NEVER enough time!

Amazing app, no ads, enough features available for free for any beginner and amateur, with good offers for professionals. The Android side is a little late on receiving new features but the long awaited MusicFX are finally here and IT ADDS SO MUCH TO YOUR SHOOTS. The app doesn't seem overwhelming even for a beginner and there's always things you learn as you play with the controls. I use it with my Aputure MC and it has already boosted my creative potential. I'm still finding new ways to use it.

I've had sidus link for a little while now, and over time it is steadily improving of whats on offer. The new diagram master is a welcome addition as it provides a real easy option for drawing up floor plans. I have only used this on mobile so far, so am unaware of the experience on tablet, but my main gripe is alot of the controls feeling quite cramped together. The app needs a fair bit of stability improvements as I experience frequent crashes when trying to open certain features. great app

This app is really cool! Was on set a few times where the gaffer wanted to do a spotlight fade in and we had an aputure light about 15 feet in the air. I used the app to change the intensity of the light and adjust settings if needed without needing to take the light down. It saves a lot of time and I just love how convenient it is to use! Definitely would recommend for film sets due to the efficiency of it! It's also super easy to use as well!
