Description
Providing Severe Weather Early Warning Service (SWEWS) for Lightning in the state of Karnataka. The SWEWS shall observe hazardous phenomena associated with convective storm development, intensification and movement and other necessary inputs required to generate early warnings.
The SWEWS shall be based on total lightning data that is obtained from the network of ground-based sensors installed across the state and cloud computing based data services.
