SharkBytes is non-profit organization that is dedicated to providing you with up-to-date data regarding sharks & shark related incidents. SharkBytes encourages you to Learn, Support and Protect Sharks.
SharkBytes is a free research-based app that allows users to access shark incidents and sightings that have occurred all over the world. With internet connection and the simple click of our Search Your Beach or Shark Activity Map buttons, anyone can search beaches or dive locations by country, name, and GPS location to discover any recent or past recorded shark encounters in the area. Our data is updated daily and goes back over 100 years with more than 6000 incidents on file. It is a must have app for beachgoers, divers and shark lovers around world!
App Features:
-Push notification every time a new shark Incident occurs world wide (Make sure you TURN ON your notifications for SharkBytes or you will not receive these alerts )
-Search Your Beach for shark incidents in your favorite vacation spot
-Submit your own sightings to warn others, including image uploading
-Shark Identification with pictures & info on over 200 species of sharks
-Tips & Safety Info helps educate you on how to avoid an incident
