Looking for a workaround to copy and paste my new gif into an Instagram story, I installed three apps like this. This is the only one that showed up in the share menu, so I was hopeful. Unfortunately, with both the gif and a regular photo, my Pixel phone showed me this message: "Due to Android limitations this type can't be copied to clipboard." WHY?!! 😭 Time to get an iPhone?

It notifies audibly, and puts up a notification that disappears before it can be used. /But I do want to use the notification; I cannot, because it lasts only a second./30 seconds would be enough.

This just uploads the image to google photos and gives you a link. There is nothing new or fancy going on here. I want to be able to actually copy an image to my clipboard on native android. Samsungs can do it, but the pixel and essential PH-1 cannot.

Works!! No idea why this previously standard function was removed from android Q on my s10. Maybe it was just Samsung trying to add its own "features" to Android?

I have been struggling without that clipboard option. Thank goodness this works perfectly! I disabled the notification and title it adds so now it's just like the stock version used to be!

App literally does nothing. Copy to Clipboard appears nowhere on any share menu. 0 stars if it where possible.

Needed it to copy photos but it doesn't work "Due to android limitations this type can't be copied" no idea what else this app is supposed to be needed for.
