Your screen, your choice. Don't let your tilt sensor boss you around. Set Orientation allows you to force your device into a particular screen orientation. Supports all orientations, which on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and above includes reverse (upside-down) and sensor-based orientations. While you can force any application into any orientation, not all applications will work correctly in all orientations.
