App has worked flawlessly since I first installed it over 6 months ago. Now after Dec 5th, 2019 update it stopped working. Now it won't login. Keeps giving "your phone is not connected to the internet" error. Btw phone IS connected to the internet like it always has been. Just in case it would work, I uninstalled the app and reinstalled again, still nothing. Please fix whatever it is you unfixed. 01/06/20 Update. App is working like it used to. Thanks for the fix. Back to 5 stars.

The app starts up then says "your phone has lost connection with the internet. Please check your connection and retry." Does this with both my tablet and brand new phone. All other apps work and the internet is working fine. Can't even get on the Sengled website because server is not showing. Worked ok until now other than a couple of resets. Updated review 1/12/2020. The cloud service has been restored and has been working fine since the correction. Changing my rating to 5 stars.

Same as everyone else since the last update. Keeps saying phone isnt.connected to the internet but it is. This app was average at best but now kts completley useless. Not happy at all. You need to fix this asap....UPDATE.... app is working again... just wish it had more options like changing color themes and such or holiday themes

I am tring to setup a hub and 3 light bulbs. Not working at all. I am doing everything the app/instructions are telling me to and it keeps saying i don't have internet (when I do) and telling me it can't find the bulbs which have been reset a dozen times each. Now the hub just refuses to connect to the app. It is a wired connection. Using a powerful asus router and my phone is a galaxy note 10 plus. Bad product. Edit: still not working...

Bulbs keep disconnecting, app says I'm offline, and links through app won't load. Super frustrated with these bulbs right now. Update- it took several days, buy the bulbs eventually started working again. Hopefully this doesn't keep happening.

Worked for a few months then an update stopped all connections to internet saying phone is not connected to internet and it is, at least can still use as ordinary bulbs. Sengled have responded quickly to resolve predicament and bulbs are back working👍

Originally I gave this app a one star due to a major glich. Since they pushed an update everything is working wonderfully. We got everything connected and my daughter loves having the lights in her room.

Now that it works again, this app is great. I'll gladly revise my review. It's clean and came back up and running quickly. Works with Alexa.

It worked good for about 2 weeks, no issues. Then suddenly it gets disconnected from my Google home and sengled home all and it says my phone is not connected to the internet. I saw the other review about this and tried to reset cache, reset memory, reinstall, install an older version of the app. Nothing helped. At one point I got the bulb connected but then it just said offline so I couldn't access it anyway, leading me to have to reset it. Please fix this issue.

Also getting the 'phone has lost connection to internet' error. Switching over to the Google Home app to control my lights instead. Edit: seems to be fixed now

The app says my phone has no internet connection, and I can't add new bulbs. This issue lasted for about one day and was corrected.

App claims to have lost internet connection. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, no success. Tried cancelling account, no success. Tried creating new account, no success. This is the worst app, and the support for this app is all but non existent. Where is the fix for this product!? I want my money back. And will never recommend this product if I get no response to correct this problem. I'd give it less than 1 star if I could.

The app keeps saying my phone has lost service, when it has not. I have cleared the cache and doesn't help. I have over 20 bulbs and sensors and can't control any of them without this stupid app. Please make a revision to this and fix it. I won't even be able to sell all the junk because the next user will probably have the same issue. Worked fine for the longest time and now it's trash.. Please fix!

After reading the bad reviews I was hesitant to even try this app, but everything worked very smoothly to set up two lights and connect with Google home :-)

Just an awful experience. A setup that should take no longer than 3 to 5 minutes is now going on two hours. I have done everything per the instructions, including working on my 2g wireless connection because this product doesn't support 5g...and I still don't have the hub connected. It even took an hour just to create a user account because of some phantom "no internet" errors! I am done! I'm packaging the starter kit up and returning it. I suggest that if anyone has this to not even try.

I can't even set up an account. I keep getting a 'Network Access Timeout' error. I've tried clearing cache and data, no luck. Running on a Pixel 3XL. Up to date Android. Looking at previous reviews, I'm not alone. Fix the issue, or at least address it to your users. You should be better than this. Do better.

This app is terrible. Half of the time it won't even load because it thinks I am offline. If it does work, the performance is awful. The long loading times make the app impractical to use for controlling your home smart devices. The current top review suggest clearing the app cache to resolve the no internet connection issue that is so common. The developer commented and thanked them for the suggestion -- if the app wasn't garbage... Save yourself the frustration and go with a competitor.

The set up is horrible....nothing wrong with my internet. Its perfect. But it keeps telling me it's not connected to my phone??? Hell the first step just trying to get the code from my email was a 35min process. Kept sending me codes and they wouldn't work. Otherwise the bulbs look nice and better but I'd be nice if I could connect it all and use the other colors and voice control. Fix the bugs !!!

The app and the devices were working fine until now. Now it says no internet connection and wont let me do anything. I've tried doing what others have done as far as uninstalling and reinstalling the app, deleting memory and cache but nothing works. It wont even let me log back in because of "no internet connection" when Im connected to the internet and mobile data. This is beyond annoying, frustrating and a inconvenience. Fix the problem!

App was broken on Android 10 Google pixel 3a where it was impossible to scan or connect to sengled bulbs. After this update, all is well Now able to connect to bulbs.

After this update the hub won't connect to the internet I tried reset the hub and nothing 😡 I hope you guys fix this issue since it was working before this update.....

Absolutely love it!!! So many beautiful colors to choose from, 16 million colors to be exact. I've heard a lot of people having trouble connecting to the device or the internet however I didn't have any problems. Everything worked first try. The only thing I would recommend is having a setting where the light bulbs will slowly transition to different colors automatically

Getting the same issue as everyone else it seems. Got 3 bulbs today on Christmas. App won't let me create an account, keeps saying that the connection timed out. So I made an account on the website and tried to log in via the app, and I get the same exact error. Have been trying for 6 hours now.

Do not buy.. have spent an hour trying to get hub to connect, after registration fought me every step of the way. This company should be ashamed of itself I am returning the hub and bulbs immediately.. 01/04, update they started working around 3am.. no ability to strobe or "neon" setting as website says should be available. You can change colors manually and control remotely , not what I was sold..

Update: finally got connected and all is working now. Love the colors of my light bulbs. Disappointed! Got 4 bulbs and hub for Christmas and can't use it. Having the same issue as everyone else, can't even create an account. Hopefully this gets fixed tomorrow or I will be returning this for a better product

At first I was having the issue where I couldn't create the account either, but here is the fix to the problem: If you copy and paste the authentication code, you need to actually perform a keystroke before the "next" button will activate. Just press space bar, then backspace and it worked like a charm. The app integration with Alexa was seamless, I got all my bulbs and groups set up in no time, all working just fine right now. Dimmer works great.

Had some problems to begin with then everything worked nicely till they did an update yesterday. App tells me my phone isn't connected to the internet... Yet here i am writing this review. Tried in another phone. Tried their web address and guess what, can't connect to that... Seems they have server issues. Can't get thru via phone either. My entire house has these bulbs... This is ridiculous.

App is completely broken right now. Woke up and it says my phone has no internet even though it does. Tried resetting the hub, but no luck. Went to sengled website to troubleshoot and it says it doesn't exist. I'm guessing all their devices are tied to servers and they went down. All of by bulbs are stuck on the last colors they were set to before I couldn't access the app, so I can't even use half of them as normal bulbs anymore. I hope this issue gets fixed otherwise this was a massive waste.

Worked great until today. Keeps saying my phone is not connected to wifi. It is. Everything else on my phone works. Tells me my lights are not connected and to check them. Won't even let me check in to sengled support. I've got 7 evidently bummer expensive bulbs. Tried again just now. No luck. Keeps telling me the wifi is not working and wont let me even access sengled support page. I think the problem is with sengled wifi itself. Back to manually turning my lights off and on. Sheesh

The Sengled home app used to work fine until I installed the latest update. Now Google can't find my bulbs and even after reinstall this app tells me my phone has no internet connection. Hello! I just downloaded the app! It also wont connect to allow me to delete my old account in order to start from scratch. At the moment both it and my bulbs are useless.

I had the old Element Home (green) app. One day, after an update, it couldn't find my bulbs. I found out I had to get the new Sengled Home (red) app. I try to log in and it just says my phone isn't connected to the internet. (It totally is.) I just want to turn on my lights. Sounds like I need to revert to the green app and turn off updates, because they keep breaking.

App works well for what it's for. I initially was having trouble with resetting the bulbs that came with the hub and re connecting. Long story short it was a longer than it should be process. Overall, once everything is setup, it's simple use.

I can't login. I set up an account and it keeps telling me the credentials are wrong. I logged into the website just fine using the same info. It also keeps timing out. Very annoying and honestly not worth the time, energy, effort or money.

Running into the same problems as other users where the app won't connect to any of the bulbs that have been working for over a year. App says there is no internet connection. Have reset and uninstalled/reinstalled the app, deleted app memory and cache, restarted my phone, restarted modem and router, verified that Wi-Fi works, etc. Still nothing. Lights turn on manually with physical switches but that's it.

Latest update has completely broken app and hub. Like the enormous number of others are reporting this same date. EDIT called their support and got a message of server outage affecting all devices and app. Said not to reset anything. Geesh, too bad the app said to reset the hub and bulbs already. It won't recognize any of my bulbs or my hub. Everything linked and worked perfectly with the previous Element app until today when it wouldn't open at all and I was forced to download this POS app. I uninstalled my hub and it won't reinstall here. This is BS!! Needs to be fixed ASAP or start reimbursing consumers for obsolete products!!

Never really work very well. Always had issues with hub. After latest update ,it just tells me my phone is not online. It still works through Alexa,but won't adjust level. I got some rebates bulbs at Costco that doesn't need a hub that work great. My wife and have mobility issues so we so being able to remotely control lights are nice. Like others these are too much trouble so I will deligate them to other uses. Others are cheaper and better that don't need a hub like Felt.

Fails from time to time. Then resetting hubs with this app is a burden... a lot of trial and error happens. Just now like the other reviews here. The app can't make the hub connect to the router. Tested the router ports... all are working. Reset the router... hub still does not work. App says it lost connection to internet which is just stupid since phone internet connection are all working i can make this review, redownload the app etc. Sengled bungled their latest update and went own up

ATTN PEOPLE GETTING INTERNET ERROR: Clear the cache on the app once every now and again. This seems to fix the problem for me. Review: I love the Sengled bulbs and app. Setting everything up is super easy and just requires scanning a QR code on the bulb. I set up the hub and have connected 8 bulbs in my house so far with zero issues. Setting up rooms is super easy and bulbs respond fast to changes in app. Docked a star for the internet error, which appears to be fixed by clearing the cache.

App works well with my devices. Easy to set up with my Google home account and opens and loads quickly

Worked flawlessly for 6+ months until 2 days ago. Now, like many others after the last appupdate, I'm left frustrated as the app, hub, and my 6 bulbs no longer connect. Latest update needs to be patched or rolled back immediately! EDIT: Now able to connect as before, all finally working again, updated rating from 1 back to 4 starts. Once again happy with bulbs, hub, app, etc. Thank you.

Made an account but can't even get the hub connected even when it is connected to the router and I followed every direction as possible. Still getting connection errors when I clear don't have any. What a joke.

This app will not let me do anything without buying more of there products you have to buy like three things just to make one work. VERY glitchy and unrealible. It was very dispointing. I will not make the mistake of using this app again.

Good app, but Schedule work in a half. The task start the light, but at the end of the schedule, the light don't turn off. Fix this please! Thanks! App is working well and instructions in app are easy to follow. I had an issue with it and the customer support people were quick in sorting it out. Would be good to be able to have multiple homes in one app. If this is possible it's not immediately obvious how to do it.

Updated from 1 star to three. all working now. Update 12/6 contacted them here is their response. ... Thanks for contacting Sengled Support! That is correct. It is a DNS issue. We hope to have it resolved in 24 hours but that is not a concrete timeframe. It is based upon my talks with various other people here at Sengled.

Since the last update, the app will not connect to the internet/wifi? Was working great previously. Same thing is happening on my wife's phone after the last update. Very frustrated! I can still turn lights on and off through Google Home?

Worked great before this update. I can't connect to my Sengled acct. using my internet on my cell phone. If I turn off my WiFi and use cellular service I can connect as usual. Controls 16 lights on various floors of my house and two plugs. Works great with Alexa too.

The app has stopped working claiming that the phone is not connected to the network! It is! The lightbulb seems to have lost its connection as well. Basically now I have regular dumb lightbulb set at a random brightness setting that cannot be changed!

App sucks, will disconnect devices when I try to sign on and again when pairing. Spent the past hour trying to connect with multiple devices, still will not connect with the hub. Even with with wifi/location everything connected it still will not register, maybe I just got a bad hub smh.

Why will these Sengled people not correctthe problems they have caused for thousands of people.I have spent hours trying to get my lights working once again.I have even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but the download page simply tells methat I have NO current compatible device to download to.I had intended to equp the whole house with Sengled products but now I will not.Their loss not mine.I do not recommend Sengled products and would urge others not to do so as well at least until they come up with a solution to this well publicised problem.

Wow, so far a bad experience. Works less than half the time and can't connect to a brand new device. Constant connection errors. Was happier with the prior app.

Used to be able to use the app. If I'm connected to wifi, the app says there is no internet connection which means I cant add my new light bulbs to be able to control them. If I could I would give this app no stars. This needs to be fixed

Ever time they upgrade the app it tells me my device has lost connection to the internet. Takes about half a day and every word in the book to get it to work again. VERY frustrating. Do us favor and never update your app again!

Be ready to reset your devices multiple times. I have reset everything at least half a dozen times already. I just got fed up with them and just them as regular lights. I did see the new update for the app (11/28/19) so hopefully this time they will stay registered to the hub.

I have had Sengled light Wi-Fi bulbs for over a year. I use the Amazon Echo Plus with built in Zigbee as my hub. I have lost the ability to control the bulbs through Alexa and with the Sengled App. I've reset the lights several times and they are no longer discoverable. The only work with a physical switch.

Downloaded the app and cannot connect. Same thing happens with the apple version of the app. Looks to be an ongoing problem from other reviews. DO NOT BUY their products.

Some bulbs stopped connecting. Says my phone has lost connection to the internet. However, I'm on the internet just fine on all other apps and google. I just got these a few days ago and I'm already having trouble. I think I'm just going to return them and go with another supplier of smart bulbs.

awful!! very disappointed that amazon would bundle this bulb with echo. the app continues to fail at login - stating that the internet connection is lost. i have tried troubleshooting for 40 minutes. i am done!

Works great! Tuning all the bulbs to daylight really helps with my mood on a dark Canadian winter's morning. The app went a little wonky once, right after an update, but all was fixed within 24 hours. Thanks team!

This is a terrible app. Says my device does not connect to the internet. Working on two bulbs for over two hours. No luck.

Can not get light bulb to pair no matter how many times I try. Says phone has lost connection. Feels like a waste of money.

It needs wifi, freaking thing sucks just because of that. what ever happen to bluetooth. I literally just bought 5 of them from best buy came home disappointed. My fault should have read it more. Look for bluetooth devices my opinion.

I have been getting an issue where it doesn't detect my network on my phone, but i know its connected because it works on the google home app.

Thank you Sengled for solving the connection issue. Bumping my review up from 2 stars to 4 stars considering I've only been using the smart bulb for a few weeks now.

Probably the easiest smart device app I've ever used. Connecting is super simple, scan qr code and then boom it's done. Great controls in app, very clean interface.

Issues on 12/6/19 seem to have been resolved. Overall a decent app. Red on white GUI isn't my favorite but app works well.

Not able to create account. Code is sent but sign in wont let me proceed once coffee is entered. I've tried 5 times.

The app keeps telling me I'm not connected to the internet when in fact I am. I can't even get past setting up a Sengled account.

Keeps losing connections. Working very slow with bulbs. Used to work much better than this

App said my phone is not connected to the internet which I am. Cant use app at all and my lights no longer work with Alexa either so they are now useless.

This product doesn't work at all, constant internet connection error before I can even make an account, save yourself the trouble and buy some Philips HUE instead.
