Samsung Galaxy S II (I9100-T) running CM11. I'm not sure if its just my phone's screen model, or a combination of that and the relative severity of my burn-in issue. I'm sure it's mostly caused by Whatsapp and Chrome on my phone. When I apply a totally white background, I can almost clearly see an inverted colored keyboard and the top banner of my main Whatsapp group as well Chrome's address bar. If anyone managed to revert a similar burn-in please enlighten me :)

A combination of poorly-designed Tasker settings caused my Note 2 screen to remain on forever when plugged in - and some pretty bad burn-in spots from bright lockscreen widgets. This tool didn't fix the problems but I think did help them a bit. I run it periodically on my newer phone to prevent the issues. It would be nice to have it integrated with Daydream to run automatically, and/or settings to have it run on a schedule.

I've used it for around a week and a half and I've noticed a lot of improvement. At first on a grey background i could clearly see the burn in from the navigation buttons, but now i have to really look for it, and even squint to even notice it at all. Thanks for the fix! Really helpful app!

I have an extremely severe burn-in on my screen, to the point you can only see through parts of it in the dead on night at dark. So far it has been on for 20 minutes and I am pretty sure it is working. I am not yet certain, I'll update my review if it does but I am not expecting a quick recovery. But fingers crossed that by morning (12 odd hours away) I will at least be able to see the time.

Had a slight screen burn from my texting app because I left it open with the brightness too high (This is an LG G5) Let it run for about 4 hours and it cleared it up completely. Keeping it installed in case it happens again. Only issues is trying to close the app doesn't always work. I'd also recommend adding a suggested brightness in the instructions.

I have an LG G5 which was left on overnight and subsequently overheated.When i woke i found that the overheating warning message was burnt into the screen so i paniced and came across this app. After 3 hours my phone is as good as new. Life saver...thankyou.

After using my keyboard on my phone, I noticed that there was an afterglow or shadow. This app removed that shadow within a few hours. I don't even have an amoled device, as I have an LG V10, but their LCD is very similar to amoled. I will be regularly running it now.

I was extremely sceptical how many apps here are free and work. However after my screen got stuck on for a night i woke to see a permanent call button on my screen. After 3 hours on full brightness my screen was back to normal

I'd say that this app helps with screen burn quite well. Now some screen burn on my poor S2 is so bad that there really isn't a whole lot you can do about it. This isn't the fault of the app or developer, just something to keep in mind. One benefit that this app has is that there are no advertisements or intrusive permissions!

Not sure how bad my burn is, I got it in the course of 1 week so I would assume its not bad. Only used this for an hour so far, no changes that the human eye can notice, but I assume this does work for preventing this, never actually had screen burn before, it is very annoying .-. Hopefully this will do something noticeable to a (potentially) badly screen burned phone
