Mount Carmel School (A Christian Minority Institution) is a Senior Secondary School being run under the aegis of Mount Carmel Educational Society, Chandigarh (Regd.), a group of Christian teachers, dedicated to the cause of complete moral, intellectual, Spiritual and social development of boys and girls.

We derive our inspiration from the Lord Jesus Christ who loves children and we fully believe in the commandment given by Him, ‘Love thy neighbour as thyself’. On this, the motto of our School ‘Amor Vincit Omnia’ is based.

Mount Carmel School was founded by Dr. Earnest Charles J. Samuel & Dr. Annie Charles Samuel in April 1987

At present it has Over 2500 students on rolls, in classes Pre-Nursery to XII. The school is Recognized by the Department of Education U.T., Chandigarh and is Affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (C.B.S.E.), Delhi.

The school has well qualified, experienced and dedicated teachers and boasts of excellent results in the All India Secondary School Examination conducted by the C.B.S.E. Besides laying emphasis on Academic Excellence the students are encouraged to participate in various co – scholastic activities, so as to develop their Thinking Skills, Social Skills, Emotional Skills, Literary and Creative Skills, their skills in Performing Arts & Fine Arts. Technology is an integral part of the Teaching – Learning process at the School as the class rooms are converted into technology enabled smart class rooms with display systems and a computer each for the teachers.
