With this network file manager you can browse and open shared files. Samba Streamer lets you play videos and music from Windows/Samba (SMB) shares directly on Android device without copying files first. Clean and simple alternative to other bloated file managers. Streams videos and music, shared on local network to your favorite media player or open them in browser.
Additionally Samba Streamer is capable of analyzing filename patterns and it attempts to download video files meta-info from OMDB api. That brings experience of browsing your video files collection to whole new level. For better results name your video files like so; include movie title followed by 4 digit year for movies, or TV series title followed by season, episode notation in form "SnnEnn", where nn - are two digit numbers.
