SakshiVani-GELC

This App is dedicated TO THE GLORY OF ALMIGHTY GOD. Praise and worship are integral parts of Christian life and songs are the careers of our praise and worship to God on most high through divine music. “Sakshivani”, the official song book of Gossner Evangelical Lutheran Church in Chotanagpur & Assam is a collection of ancient and modern devotional songs and hymns meant to be sung not only during the congregation worship but in all occasions of Christian fellowships and personal as well as family day to day life. In these modern times of information technology almost everything is being presented to the society in smallest and most convenient electronic forms. The Bible is already available in the form of an app in mobile handsets. We, in G.E.L. Church also in line with modern trend have decided to bring Sakshivani in the form of an App so that songs book is carried in mobile handsets conveniently wherever we go and sings praises to God. The basic version of this app has been dedicated by Rt. Rev. Johan Dang, Moderator, G.E.L. Church during the 23rd Meeting of Executive Committee of Central Council of G.E.L. Church on 5th May 2017. The next version with music/tunes will also be very shortly released. The Communications and Publications Department, Central Council Office, G.E.L.C. is thankful to God and the Central Council for granting approval to this project. We hope the believers at large will received this with appreciation. ………“ I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord most high…..” Psalm 7:17 Eliazer Topno General Secretary, G.E.L.C.
