SahityaMala is a collection of classical carnatic music songs with lyrics (sahityam). The app is to serve as easy reference tool to know about the meaning and details of songs such as the composer, the ragam and the talam along with the lyrics and meaning sectioned as pallavi, anu-pallavi and charanam.
A few highlights of the app :
✓ a collection of over 1400 songs along with the meaning of the sahitya for a few
✓ sort in the order of song name, composer, ragam, language
✓ sahitya available in 6 different languages :
• తెలుగు (Telugu)
• தமிழ் (Tamil)
• ಕನ್ನಡ (Kannada)
• മലയാളം (Malayalam)
• देवनागरी (Devanagari, Hindi) and
• Roman (Transliteration)
The songs by 27 composers including ,
Annamacharya ( Annamayya )
Bhadrachala Ramadasa ( Ramadasu )
Muthuswami Dikshitar ( Dikshidar )
Syama Sastri
and Saint Tyagaraja
are available.
