I installed the app and when i open message sounds it..showed me two options...but i accidentally select media storage option instead of this application Now its not showing the option....i tried re installing and i restarted the device tooo but this option is not showing NOW.... PLEASE HELP ME

I've been using this application for years now (I think since before the last update in 2014) and it still runs great! Concerning the issue some of you are (were?) having with the OK button and screen filters, that's a new (at the time) Android security feature to keep apps from giving themselves permissions by clicking OK buttons. If you use the built in blue light filter in Android, that problem goes away. Also, I'm running this on a Galaxy S10+ currently running Android 10. It works fine!

When I first installed it it was working great I can select my own sounds for incoming text emails and personalize ringtones for each individual person. Then I got a software update and some features don't work as well. Others don't work at all. Very sad I love this app! Please update! I'm rocking the Samsung Galaxy S9 Plus already an updated phone I'm sure! So it should be easy to make this work again. Not for me but for the developer I hope :-) fingers crossed

Worked perfectly for the past 7 years! I used it on my first smartphone and every one since (assuming the ringtone didn't automatically transfer). Having Rings Extended installed just adds another option for selecting a ringtone in your system settings, so you can even uninstall afterwards it if you don't plan on changing ringtones often. It worked on my Pixel 3a XL despite the "This was made for an older version of Android" warning.

Used to work with my Android 8. Now I have an Android 9plus and it's not working. Was a great app. I installed and reinstalled hoping that would take care of the problem, but no. Now when I want to select a tone or song for a ring tone I don't get the Rings Extended prompt. Oh well.

Custom ringtones work, but with this app installed, the phone (brand new S9) does not ring when other people (without a custom ringtone set) call. So-called Help is a joke... a couple paragraphs that basically say "if this doesn't work, your phone is broken." Uninstalling.

All of a sudden (as of this week, first week Dec, 2020), on a notification, the entire media file plays without the ability to stop it. Music player and podcast player, all video players play WHILE the notification/ring tone media plays.

I use this app since Android 2.3. Now I have Android 9 and Rings Extended is the only app that still works as expected, without any flaw! This is a must have extension of sound settings page, period.

Works flawlessly, used it for years on every phone I've had. The one thing I would add is that it would be great if it were possible to enable it to stop after a set time. Or add a cutter.
