Description

The RECOVIB.Feel is connected to an Android device via a USB connection. The supplied android application allows for streaming real-time vibration data on a chart in the time domain and in the frequency domain (FFT-based computations). RMS values are displayed as well.

In the velocity and displacement mode, several filters are applied to derive the velocity and displacement curves. The data are then displayed on a chart in the time domain and in the frequency domain with five possible FFT-based computations : Amplitude Spectrum Peak and RMS, Power Spectrum, Power Spectral Density and Amplitude Spectral Density

While streaming, the application allows for recording vibration data. The resulting binary file is saved on the external storage of the Android device. It can then be replayed in the replay mode. Again, velocity and displacement data can be derived from the recorded data.
