This app used to work but it is now borked. When attempting to track a friend it no longer leaves a correct trail, and the person"s icon jumps around. Fix it back to the way it used to be, when it worked, and I will update this review. I emailed the company long before writing this review and got no response.

geofencing seems to not work anymore. suddenly I'm getting notifications all day about geofencing events that occurred 2 to 3 days ago. for example, today is Tuesday and I get a notification that a friend I'm tracking has left a geofence area.. but the event happened last Friday! so far today I've gotten about a dozen notifications like that.. all from events that happened 1 to 3 days ago.

Been using this app for years. Suddenly I can only share via email. I used to share via SMS and now can't do it. There is not even predictive text so I would have to type out full email addresses. It says you can share using a phone number but when I entered in a phone number error message said invalid e-mail address. Contacted customer support over a week ago and no reply yet. Guess I will have to find another app.

this is a very techical application with many controls. It may have some glitches, but it allows me to customize update time, regions, track duration and many other attributes. Google location sharing is much less customisable. I wish there were more affordable subscription rates for lage set of users. if i have family of 8 i need to pay 3 addtional tracking contacts for each of 8 lines. 3x3x8=72$/month is too much for me... Otherwise thanks for a nice tool.

Works very well, especially with the timer add-on. Some folk don't seem to know how a tracker works, of course it needs a data plan in order to send the location info to a server. Data and battery usage is quite light... used 1/2MB data and 5% battery on a two hour shopping trip. (GPS battery usage is a hog; can't get away without it, of course! If you're using too much battery, you can configure the GPS update interval.) Have tried several apps, even wrote my own (using SMS for the data). So far, this one is the best. Edit: Got a note from the forum admin to say forum registration is turned off due to many spammers. Am now registered in forum thanks to admin, great response.

I like this app a lot, I have used it for years, but I have 2 problems with it now: 1) Once you focus on either party, there's no way that I can find to un-focus, which is very annoying. I don't have this problem on my tablet. 2) I get eyestrain headaches, especially when driving in a dark car, and now I can't use google terrrain which was much easier on my eyes. It hurts my eyes to even look at it now. Please fix these things, and I will increase my score! In lieu of google terrain, a dark mode would be most welcome!

Works pretty good except it does use a lot of battery. You can mitigate the battery use somewhat but you lose a lot of functionality by doing so. Minus one star because the map insists on snapping to either your location or the person you are following. Minus another star because I can't figure out how to answer the stupid question when trying to register for the support forum.

I have been using RTT1 for many years without issue. I could track a family member and watch their position change/jump at the user set update period. Unfortunately, since my devices have been upgraded to Android Pie the periodic location change (real-time tracker) has stopped working. Both RTT1 and RTT2 don't seem to like Android Pie and the tracked device stays put. I've watched it count to 15 mins+ with the tracked phone then many miles wrong. Sadly had to abandon it :(
