Description
Easy to use UI for searching, selecting, and calculating resistor resistance value based on their specific color code for resistors found in most electronics. RCC was designed to be easy to use and helpful for engineers, students, electricians, or the ordinary tinkerer.
How to use:
• Touch the color corresponding to the band of the resistor that you want to change. There are a total of twelve different colors (black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, gray, silver, gold, and white).
• Select from the list of colors the value or color to take into consideration when calculating the resistors resistance value.
Band meaning:
• Three band resistors:
• First stripe represents the first digit of the resistance value.
• Second stripe represents the second digit of the resistance value.
• Third stripe represents the multiplier of the resistance value.
• Four band resistors:
• First stripe represents the first digit of the resistance value.
• Second stripe represents the second digit of the resistance value.
• Third stripe represents the multiplier of the resistance value.
• Fourth band represents the tolerance of the resistance value.
• Five band resistors:
• First stripe represents the first digit of the resistance value.
• Second stripe represents the second digit of the resistance value.
• Third stripe represents the third digit of the resistance value.
• Third stripe represents the multiplier of the resistance value.
• Fourth band represents the tolerance of the resistance value.
• Six band resistors:
• First stripe represents the first digit of the resistance value.
• Second stripe represents the second digit of the resistance value.
• Third stripe represents the third digit of the resistance value.
• Third stripe represents the multiplier of the resistance value.
• Fourth band represents the tolerance of the resistance value.
• Sixth band represents the temperature coefficient of the resistance value.
