Description
The Raiffeisen ID app is an innovative security procedure for logging in and approving orders in Raiffeisen online banking. Raiffeisen customers can activate the Raiffeisen ID app in their own Raiffeisen checkout or directly in their own online banking.
Functionality:
The Raiffeisen-ID app uses an innovative security procedure. Raiffeisen Online Banking encrypts the login and order data in a color matrix. The color matrix is then photographed from the screen using the camera integrated in your smartphone. The data contained in the color matrix and the corresponding release code are decrypted and displayed on the smartphone by this app. By activating the app once, the color matrix displayed on the screen can only be deciphered by your smartphone.
The security procedure is used for login and order approval. Your smartphone does not need an internet or telephone connection for this procedure.
If the smartphone is connected to the Internet, login and order approval can optionally be done via a push message. To do this, Raiffeisen Online Banking sends a push message to the Raiffeisen ID app. The login and order data are displayed in the app and can be confirmed or rejected there. The login or the order in online banking is automatically approved or rejected.
In order to authenticate to the Raiffeisen ID app, a PIN number, fingerprint or facial recognition is specified by the user. The specified PIN, fingerprint or facial recognition must be entered correctly in the Raiffeisen ID app to enable login and order approval.
