93FM is among the five most listened to radio stations in Rio. Since May of 1992 on the market, 93 FM is bringing what is best in contemporary Christian music. The radio went on the air at midnight on the 25th of May and over the years has been consolidating in gospel segment. In 1994, the station changed address. Passed Street Artists in Vila Isabel, to Gothenburg Street, St Kitts. In 1997 the radio overhauled its transmission system and became a pioneer in the digital system. In 20 years, major events mobilizing public became hits and established as a brand of the station. We conducted Canta Brazil, Rio and South Zone (gathering hundreds of thousands of people); Louvorzão; Sound Gospel, and broadcasts live, straight from the Book Biennial, Marches for Jesus and the special programs conducted outside the studio. According to the consolidated IBOPE data, 93FM is among the 5 most listened radios River, reaching the 1st place at specific times in recent years. An audience that is growing every day, and that was reinforced by the antenna repeater, which now takes the signal to the entire western area, with the quality that our listeners deserve. The 93FM stands out for its gospel programming, 24 hours, without abandoning the commitment to social, information, satisfaction of our listeners and advertisers. We are a transformer ideal vehicle, opinions and know the role that we need mass mobilization. Therefore, throughout the 20 years we have developed projects in all sectors of our production in order to not only entertain but also educate, raise awareness and help.
