OMG! I'm currently learning Greek which is by far the most complicated language I've learnt. Must say Quizlet saved me when I was about to give up. Such an incredible tool for memorising new words and terms. I firmly believe I wouldn't have made it without it! I can learn both on my computer and on my smartphone (offline too, it downloads the sets automatically) without losing track. Purchased the paid version after the first try, the personalised learning tool is amazing! Thank you, guys!

I do enjoy the fact you can purchase certain study guides from approved vendors, the learn section is a learning curve. Once you pass the hurdle it's really ingenious. Terms and content stick better than just reading. Plus you have the writing, flashcards, learn. Etc. Wish there was more verified vendors to choose from. Pictures also help with learning.

  3. Will Rogers-avatar

    Will Rogers

Great app for studying. I'm using this app to learn Japanese. It is easy to build in all the vocabulary I need to study for each section and the app will usually suggest the correct answer when I am building the card which makes the creation process much simpler. It has the basic flash card mode but I find myself using the Learn mode which really helps you focus on and study the things you don't know as well. If you want a basic app to help you study, you'll be happy with this one.

  4. Arnold Lira-avatar

    Arnold Lira

The format for the flashcards is no good. The old format where you can swipe back and forth was a lot better. There's not even an option to switch back. I had contacted quizlet about that, why am I paying for a format I did not agree to be changed to. The reply simply stated thanks for the suggestion. Will not be renewing plus subscription.

  5. Frrshlemon-avatar

I really love this app. But The reason I rated it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's a little difficult to organise my lessons I wish we had more organizing choices. For example, I made study sets for my 3 chapters in my science book and I made folders named science chapter 1, science chapter 2 etc... but then it's all cluttered because I also do the same with my other subjects. How about you add a feature where we could put a folder inside a folder? This could really help.

  6. eli-avatar

What an excellent way of learning a new language. But bigger impact would have the vocabulary words to be transformed into handwritten assignments for memorization not just type written. Writing Hangul is important by the order it's written and for each written, the student repeats the word, sounding of each letter and rhe meaning of the word. That's what's truly called mastering the Korean language. (IMO) Learner of two other languages besides English.

  7. icarus-avatar

didn't want to sign up but I'm forced! even before entering to the app & using it. needs offline backup & restore feature. there's no way to import or export your flashcards. ads are so annoying & placed everywhere on the screen! the mechanism of displaying ads in this app is like a adware more than a useful app! prices are too high (just for removing the ads and offering a simple flashcard function?!) I think the app is overrated; & no, thanks. there's much more better free options out there.

  8. Joan Lim-avatar

    Joan Lim

Very helpful! I use this for almost all my subjects. You are reviewing as you make them and letter on you can re-read them or test yourself. And as you keep taking the tests you rimember them and understand your lesson better. I really love this!

  9. Charley Byrd-avatar

    Charley Byrd

Such a wonderful study tool. Has helped me so much with concepts that i struggle with. Love that i can search for other peoples sets, make my own sets, and share my sets with a link to my classmates. And there's so many options to study your sets!

  10. Destinee Roberts-avatar

    Destinee Roberts

I am taking online college and this has really helped me to make flashcards and studying by myself so much easier. It is really good for practicing definitions and there are plenty of ways to help study besides just flipping the cards. I really like that its online and i don't have to use up so much paper. Also love the feature that will read the definitions to you that really helps me memorize things so much better.

  11. Marlee Fancett-avatar

I've been using Quizlet for years and I've only seen it improve over that time. I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone who needs an aid in studying. It's great for organization and offers many options to help you memorize terms.

  12. Marlyssa Sheehan-avatar

I used this to study for my Calc 1 class and it really helped me remember all the things I needed. There's also matching games to help you remember terms and definitions! And you can compete with others as well! It's so cool.

Get Quizlet plus, if you're taking higher level Highschool or College course this app makes studying very easy; not as stressful. Additionally, the smart definition feature where it matches words/phrases close to the answers (not word for word) helps with intellectual confidence. Great app, I am perusing an MD and with all of the Anatomy and Biology terminology it's very manageable.

  14. John C-avatar

    John C

I am attempting to add words to my list. However, when the word appears it does not allow me to select a definition. Each time I click on the word that appeared it remains on the screen without allowing me to move forward.

  15. Samantha Carrillo-avatar

    Samantha Carrillo

This app is great. I can study in the car while waiting or at home while the kids are watching tv. I has a variety a ways to study, such as flashcards, mini quizzes and more! Search almost any topic here!

  16. LoLa-avatar

I am a year 8 and this app is amazing for studying, it gives more knowledge, sometimes even things that we didn't study in a specific topic. It is an amazing source to revise. Totally recommend it. Note : all this amazing-ness and I am using the free version

  17. Aaliyah Butler-avatar

    Aaliyah Butler

I love this app❤❤❤ alot it is helping me remember and acheive things that I couldn't improve before now it will make my work more easier!!! But I gave it 4 stars because it won't read to you unless you use flashcards. Thanks though.

  18. Marie Du Toit-avatar

    Marie Du Toit

Easy to set up and get started. Battled a bit with typing everything on the cellphone so will be trying the option to set up the sets on laptop and then just accessing it via the cellphone. Great tool for repetition learning (eg definitions)

  19. Alex Perron-avatar

    Alex Perron

I love it. It helped my mark go up 20%! I made the cards a week before then I studied them 4 days before the test all the way up to the test and I felt really confident. AMAZING, would totally recommend to anyone who is having trouble studying.

  20. Mimi Forman-avatar

    Mimi Forman

As I move through the Cooper Book, it helps me to test my knowledge having questions presented in different formats; to really understand the material, and to expand and strengthen my knowledge in preparation for the BCBA Exam.

  21. something better-avatar

    something better

I'm in collage and if I need to look something up quizlet usually has the answer, but there are things you can't look at unless you sign up, for instance; if you are using flash cards it doesn't let you look at the last handful of cards unless you sign up, and even if you do it bombards you with ads and tells you to pay to have them removed.

  22. Raul Osheiba-avatar

    Raul Osheiba

User friendly, app works very good across various devices, learning is gradual and making a real difference. Feel bad I'm not spending the odd couple of quid to upgrade but really great using just the free version.

  23. Sinttuli-avatar

Grea app! I wish it had a bit more possibilities for orcagnising the courses, like shifting the order of the sets inside a folder or possibly the possibility to add folders inside folders. Otherwise great app!

  24. Jesiah Bonura-avatar

    Jesiah Bonura

Great for studying, helps so much. Gives me everything I need. Easiest when your teacher post something on it and you go off of that. Great app, if your struggling to achieve that 4.0, I recommend this app.

  25. Sjay7845-avatar

Quizlet on the web is great. The quizlet app doesn't work properly, I can't use learn mode at all, keeps saying error try again later. Have uninstalled and reinstalled, same issue. Guess I'll just keep using the web version

  26. Susan Massey-avatar

  27. Jenny Smith-avatar

    Jenny Smith

I would give quizlet a 5, but as a college student I cannot pay that much for premium. It would be so helpful to have, but I don't think it's worth the money. Great study app regardless.

  73. Emma R-avatar

    Emma R

I really like this app, however the new updates are annoying and glitchy. There is now an option to be creative with sets, with bolding, italics, underlining, colours etc however this is only available to Plus users. I'm fine with the free version and I will not be paying for Plus, however the new bar with these features is always in the way, covering up the button to add more terms. The fact that I don't use these features makes it even more annoying. Please add an option to get rid of it.

  74. Desiree Petty-avatar

    Desiree Petty

I am a 4.0 GPA student and this app is great for studying. My favorite feature is the testing feature where you can take a test with your own Quizlet cards you created. I love that the testing feature is customizable to Written, T or F or Multiple choice or all of the above. I also choose the immediate response option during testing so I know right away if I got the answer correct. It helps me solidify information!

Very fun and can be used by yourself or in a group setting, makes memorizing easier because of the repetition, and being able to see other card sets than just the one you made makes it a unique experience, the tests are a but weird to do with the multiple choice but over all easy to use, and makes studying less of a chore.

  78. Joy McCracken-avatar

    Jess Z

I love it! I will say that I wish I knew about this app long ago. I am still learning about the app but I like how you can do a matching game, make a test, and more. I can pull this out at work or waiting to pick up my kids. It is easy to manage and can upload other people's folders as well *CAUTION* other people's answers could be wrong so double check! I give it a 4 star for now only because I have used this app for 2 weeks.

Quizlet works great for drilling review questions. Sets are easy to create (or find).

  81. Andrew Walsh-avatar

    Andrew Walsh

A useful app and worthwhile installing. It does have some bugs though: 1. When editing your set, the terms are not in alphabetical order, this makes it time consuming to identify duplicates 2. When adding a new term to a set the term initially won't respond, you have to click on the definition and then go back to enter the term 3. When adding a new term to a big list why does it have to scroll through all of the existing terms? ( a small point but a bit annoying)

  82. TJ Holland-avatar

    TJ Holland

For native English speakers, Japanese is an incredibly hard language to learn. Quizlet makes it a hell of a lot easier. I use it in combination with NihonGO NOW. As someone who's taken Japanese before the smart app was invented I can tell you that it's a lot easier learning the language with the convenience and availability to study anywhere. Your need to study anything that is even remotely difficult, pay the extra for the plus. It's worth it.

  83. Cayla Young-avatar

    Cayla Young

I've used Quizlet alot over the years. It's a simple, easy program that makes studying so much better. However, the new update kind of took away most of the cool features and replaced them with ads for a premium option. I didn't really like that because it made using the app harder. I personally have no problem with buying a premium feature, however, I know people who are students and can't really afford to pay for these things monthly.

I have been using this to get my pilots license. There's a lot to remember. So I love that all the automated recommendations for definitions pop up. I suck at memorizing things, but doing the flashcards on quizlet for a few minutes every day has helped me drastically improve.

I have the 'plus' version and I love the functions that are available. Nevertheless, I can not use the function "learn" with my biggest sets of cards. It display the message: "an error has occurred, please try it later". Every single day it displays the same message. I find really useful "learn" function but I am really disappointed that I can't use it with all my sets.

I love this app! it works great and I studied half of my work and got it all right in about 30 minutes, I did study before the but this helps a lot. I live the different options and tests you can take and make you're own. The pricing for the premium I a bit high for my liking, considering there isn't a TON of new things you get for it, but that's just me.

I really enjoy the app and its functions! I've been using it almost 4 years now 👍 Please, add notifications for active recall (the forgetting curve) in order to send the words to the long memory. And it would be great if you had a function for teachers to see how their students are dealing with the sets. I have to search other apps for this, but if you had these functions, that would be really helpful 🙏

Don't get me wrong online, on my pc, is great, but the app is super glitchy. Sometimes it won't open or I'll get kicked off for no reason. I really like quizlet but the app's glitches are too much to handle. Quizlet 5 stars, the app 1.

It's a great learning app, and it was great when it was just offering more for Plus users, without making the experience for free users miserable. But this has changed with the latest updates. Not only does it contain many more intrusive ads, but also added a bar with plus only features, you obviouslycannot use, which makes it more annoying to navigate. I might just jump on another flashcard app if this continues.

A brilliant app! I've been wanting to learn Māori words for some time, and I have been looking for a suitable software. I was particularly surprised how easy it was for me to input all the words, and the automated feature which predicts what the Māori translations are for English words, have drastically improved my productivity. Moreover, not only does it have flashcards feature, it has different learning modes such as automatically-generated quizzes, which helped me learn quickly. Thank you!!

It's really decent and my instructor has put together great quizzes, which makes me think it's easy to use. The automatic test feature isn't gimmicky. Where it falls short is the interface around keyboards. Trying to use the keyboard provided by the instructor (Japanese) or swapping between keyboards on my phone, it always gets a little buggy. I did get the subscription however so it's good enough for my class.

I would love to give the app 5 stars. Unfortunately, I constantly keep receiving a "no internet connection " message. Once I see that I'm unable to access the study sets I have saved. It then refers me to purchasing quizlet plus. That alone makes using the app quite frustrating. I definitely need access to the sets I have saved , its vital for the courses I am taking. I wish the developers would do better with this.

  96. MysteryKingdom-avatar

It's a very useful app for studying or just learning in general. The one issue I think they have though is that the quizlet.live sessions aren't very stable, so there are frequent disconnects while playing with large amounts of people. Other than that I would recommend it to anyone who needs extra practice on a topic or needs to memorize something quickly.

I'm self studying for my CAIB Insurance designation many years since I've been in school. This app actually made it way better to help memorize and learn material than the old fashioned way. It's important though that someone has built the great set of questions and answers for the subject matter but all in all great product. I wish there was a way to have the audio read me longer texts..many of my flashcards were Mukti paragraph not short sentence answers. I've now aced 3 out of 4 blocks 😃

Excellent app. Has been extremely useful for my language learning (mass repitition) with access across devices perfect. The testing section for each set is awsome as it requires minimum correct answers and its brutal, so you have to get it exactly right, perfect for memorising. All round one the best learning tools I've used in a long time and i'm using the free version. So far the paid version features that makes sense would be device offline access and the "Rich text format". Fantastic app!

I got this to help me with my spanish. Little did I know you had to be specific with your answers. I struggle with languages and it makes it harder for me when you have to SO specific to the point it is one letter off or a question mark you forgot to put on the end. I was playing the gravity game and it counted my answer as wrong because I put speak instead of talk. It also said it was incorrect because I couldn't type fast enough. Download this, but be specific with your answers.

I use this app for my japanese vocabulary, and it's perfect! I make the decks on the website, and learn them on the app. The only thing that's missing is to be able to learn the kanji strokes. The free app is great to use as a study tool for any subject. There are endless resources on there. If you can justify the expense of a subscription it's awesome for teaching especially if you're home schooling your kids. If you decide to cancel make sure you do it correctly because you may be surprised with the charge like I was, but their customer service proved fabulous. They canceled my subscription and refunded my money without any trouble. Great service, great company.

It's a great tool I'm a nursing student in my 2nd of 3 years of nursing school. There are a lot of people in this major and a lot of similar tools/resources used by many different schools and 99.99% of the time I find relativel quizlets for assignments. It could be made easier to use, but it is (I feel) most widely used by students (of any education level) and students can share their tools. I'm preparing for my AP Biology class next year and Quizlet has made my life so much easier! I love it! The only complaint I have is on the actual Quizlet website, when I'm trying to study, these ads on the side of my screen are very distracting. I'll close out the ad but then a new one will pop up in less then two minutes. I understand that Quizlet needs to get their money somewhere--since it's a free learning tool--but it does get distracting.

Overall, very good flashcard app, nice to work with, looks pleasant and clean. The only problem is I cannot seem to figure out how to set up spaced repetition for my sets of flash cards, and, even better, for every flashcard I get wrong. I have to manually track spaced repetition of my sets. Other than that, great app.

It is a good study app for on the go. But, if you don't have data or WiFi, it's not a great idea to use it. You can upgrade to no ads and offline mode, but upgrades are pretty costly. Overall, I think that this Quizlet app is a great addition for any student who procrastinates on their phone (and instead can do productive procrastination on Quizlet).

Fantastic app, has really helped me with all my subjects (vet student), only given it 4* because it really needs subscript and superscript functions!! I have a lot of chemical formulae and equations that I would like to be able to enter correctly :( I like the bold/italic functions and the highlighter I've found them really useful but seems weird that a flashcard app designed for learning different subjects doesn't have the above functions.

The way its intuitive with the flash cards giving you suggestions so you don't have to type out every single word or definition. Definitely give it a try!

  120. Minton-avatar

The new update has removed one very, very useful feature; whilst creating/editing sets on my phone I can no longer see how many terms I have already created in the set. This is a crucial feature, as it allows people to seperate what they are trying to learn into manageable, organiseable sets (which is one of the most important uses of Quizlet). I think this change undermines the usefulness of the app as a whole, so please return it! Thank you, A student who really values Quizlet.

Awful. Their "give feedback" link in the app takes you to a Google form that only asks for your email with no space to actually leave feedback. Don't do flashcards in the app, it is just an absolutely terrible set up.

Quizlet customer service was awful when asked to bill monthly as they know this isn't worth $50 a year, but did find the games and cards helpful and google searchable. However, the "Right Wing Political Hate Group But Jobs" of this nation (not quizlet) once again has ruined something we love leaving more victims in their wake. This time the letter "Q" has been perverted for political gain with lies. NOW that I hate seeing A BIG "Q" in my notifications made me uninstall. I'll use the free

It's a great app to study new language.. Have been using this for months to study Korean and it really helps me study. BUT dear developer, please consider this 1) In the mobile app, maybe can add Search engine so i know which word is inside and I don't have to search one by one 2) In the website, there's a function that reminds us there's a duplicate. Please make it too in the mobile app.

For half an hour I painted the words in the colors of the feminine and masculine colors (pink and blue). On the next login to the application, all selections have disappeared. I tried again, little by little, but it didn't work out. Fix color preservation! Money pays for this feature! There are languages for which the gender of the word is very important.

App is fine. So I use this app on my tablet, usually horizontally like a laptop screen, everything is fine until I go to use the 'learn' function and it forces the screen back into vertical view which seems completely arbitrary given the fact that every other function can be done in horizontal screen config. What the butt, y'all?.

If I could give a zero star review I would. I love everything about quizlet EXCEPT that now working off of wifi (even with data) requires a paid subscription. Change this. Don't waste your time with this app. They are just scheming for money. Quizlet keeps telling me I have to pay to access my flashcard, claiming there is no internet connection. Clearly, I do have an internet connection. Everyother app, including the play store is working fine.
