Not only is this app great for studying STEM and language - based subjects with total ease and simplicity, but it's super useful for really any subject. Most of the functions don't involve audio, so it's great for use on public transport and during free time. The only thing I'd suggest is to add more forms of studying, so instead of it just being learning terms, the developers could add notebooks, or study planners for example.

  2. Tessa Adamson-avatar

I've used this app since 2016. I loved every part of it but it seems there was an update that took out the sound option when you hit play and it read you the whole set. Now it only plays the one card not the whole set. I used to really love that feature for when I had my long drives and could still study. If this feature came back I would give it 5 stars.

  3. your guidance demon-avatar

    your guidance demon

The mobile version is a pain in the ass to use. The spelling option isn't available, and deleting cards from a set or just creating and modifying sets in all is really terrible. It always switches up to other cards when I wanted to edit another one. Lots of small bugs.

  4. Johanna Mendez-avatar

Very helpful! I got the app to be able to teach & learn online. As a teacher you can create classes and your own sets of cards. I'm enjoying it a lot & I honestly think it can be improved by adding different features like notebooks, comments, worksheets and meemory games to complete online (together) etc. Thanks guys!

  5. Sue Reashor-avatar

While I used to be able to use the app offline (I bought a subscription to allow that), I suddenly cannot practice my normal sets without being on my wifi. I paid for the 2020 year and, if I need it past then, I'll do without. Not worth the money.

  6. Jamir Toledana-avatar

Disappointing. Everything is so small for the kids whom I teach to read. I am using my 12.9 inch ipad pro and I don't allow them to be too close to the screen and the letters are just too small for them to recognize. The whole screen is just white background which is like 80%. It would be really helpful if you put that feature. It's just really an incovenience for us users to not have the freedom to adjust the size according to our choosing.

  7. Maryam Hatami-avatar

It's a very good app, you can create your own words. The only problem is the app doesn't work like leitner system. I have worked with actual leitner box, I know the whole process of 1 month but un this app I don't see anything like that, every day you should study all the sets you've created, no reminder

  8. Srinivas Gudivada-avatar

    Srinivas Gudivada

A very good app for anyone who is looking to improve their learning experience and memorize information. Handy and very easy to use. Paid version has additional features to include pictures and other files, which is quite useful in remembering.

  9. Oscar Rojas-avatar

This is a fantastic and fun way to learn new words in a foreign language. It's intelligent enough to keep you working on those words that for some reason are more difficult to learn, and will keep you working on them until you master them. Highly recommended and fun at the same time.

  10. Siu Kau Liu-avatar

It is easy to create the flash card, and also speak aloud. I can learn pronunciation while studying. I can put my home language on the flash card. That is very amazing, I love Quizlet and decided to pay the subscription to remove ads. It helps my study.

  11. Gregory Shaba-avatar

The explanations in various subjects are nicely done. Helps in understanding with ease, the terms I couldn't understand in some topics are broken down nicely and I am able to understand and enjoying the studies. Thank you the developers, not forgetting all those who contribute in teaching and answering many questions. #I'm grateful.

  12. Andrey Vakhrushev-avatar

    Andrey Vakhrushev

Great app! Flashcards are broken though. It keeps telling me "Nice work! You've learnt everything!" even when I don't give a single correct answer. Flashcards is the key functionality in my opinion, so sorry, but only 1 star for now. Should be easy to fix, no?

  13. Martin Rombach-avatar

Very good for its purpose. Use your own content for flashcards and self study. However - offline learning is TERRIBLE. Main reason for my subscription and it DOESN'T WORK. - asks you every ten minutes if you have a test coming and tries to force notifications on you. - generally tone deaf UI

  14. Michael Nwoke-avatar

I use this app to study, and it is such a great app, but the app keeps crashing and this has happened a lot of times. Sometimes when I just want to go to the next page it will freeze, and it gets a little frustrating.

  15. Егор Яковлев-avatar

    Егор Яковлев

Please improve your UX!! The app is amazing, but it lacks some critical features and sometimes it's not user-friendly at all! If you could open a feature wish list for users, this would help a lot.

  16. Daniele Vitella-avatar

    Daniele Vitella

Very good. Well done! :) Update: a lot of bugs... The most annoying is when I go out for a second from the app and it doesn't memory anything so I should write again everything... Please fix it. I have a Huawei Mate 20 with 4gb of RAM so it's not a problem of RAM...

  17. Fuchsia Bunny-avatar

I am studying Medical Terminology for my Phlebotomy classes in school and this app has helped me immensely.. All of the features (from the customization for setting up your own flashcards to the practice quizzes) have made studying easier for me.

  18. Callum Fernando-avatar

    Callum Fernando

I like the app, it's smooth, I would however like the option to not have to write the correct answer in the 'write' exercise, just like the browser version of Quizlet.

  19. sanskar mishra-avatar

It is a great application for any kind of learner, it helps you learn and create, which means you can find alot of study material as well as create your own 😎. This is just a perfect app.

  20. Twinkie 21-avatar

So far, so good. The flashcards and tests that are created are helpful. You can create your own flashcard sets or take from other users. I did both and use them when I can

  21. Udit Minocha-avatar

I used another flash card app and this one is better. You can to add a card in the middle of a set and moving cards is easier & faster. You can use the app and go on a computer. The other features are good too.

  22. George Williams-avatar

    George Williams

Significantly worse than IOS version - inconsistent display of the steps and I can no longer add students to my class. Developer didn't seem to care when I pointed out the issues. Not worth paying for at the moment

  23. Korean Anonymous-avatar

    Korean Anonymous

Really well made and extremely effective. This is great to study anywhere you go on your phone. However.... I can't even bold out words without purchasing the full version....

  24. Sean McCann-avatar

Usually, more often than not the app will tell me that I'm offline, which I'm not so it doesn't let me save quizzes or continue using the app until I force close it multiple times.

  25. Nancy Mdanat-avatar

The app contauns great options and great tools for people who seek to learn specific topics; tests, flashcards, writing and other. Would highly recommend it for people who seeks knowledge in a nice funny way.

  26. Enz Tiongson-avatar

Efficient way to memorize information. I mainly use this to master the JLPT N5 level. It's great that there are already made set cards to help me with all the words for the JLPT.

  27. Shivani Desai-avatar

The best app ever to learn one markers. The only problem i am facing is i cannot make my flashcards private...the screen is going black which is preventing me from changing the privacy settings. Please look into it!

  28. Logan-avatar

So good when you have to learn a list of terms and dates! I learned 20 authors plus some of their works in one day! When I tried to do it by looking at my notes I couldn't even learn 5 in two hours

  29. Nyaniso Rahotep-avatar

    Nyaniso Rahotep

Great app to optimize memorization. Lately, It has been deleting my last entries when inputting flash notes. It suddenly revert s back to last saved state. Would still revommend

  30. Rosalinda Valenzuela-avatar

    Rosalinda Valenzuela

Great app. I love how the app have audio play. It will be nice if the folder can play too, not just the set for android.

  31. Shawna Taylor-avatar

Very helpful in learning and memorizing information. Love that i can make my own flashcards based on what i need. Easier than writing out cards by hand

  32. Anonymous Unknown-avatar

    Anonymous Unknown

I love this. Thank you to that nice child on tik tok 4 recommending. I haven't used it for even 10 minutes, but I love it. I'm being taught things I didnt even know AND revising. Only 3 stars bcs like I said I haven used it that much

  33. Ginger Ninja-avatar

Easy to use interface. The variety of different activities makes it much easier to revise for language tests.

  34. Lara Robinson-avatar

Easy to use and was very beneficial in learning key terms of stuff. I couldn't make it better if I tried as it has no ads

  35. Stephanie Lamone-avatar

    Stephanie Lamone

I use quizlets with all of my courses. The only down fall is, it goes offline all the time and I have to close it and reopen

  36. Camilshka-avatar

I've dabbled with flashcard apps a few times, and I always get to the initial stages and get stumped or irritated or run out of time or energy to find out how to do things. This one is perfect, I got in and immediately made a deck to suit me plus found another someone else had made that I liked, it was fast and intuitive and so much better than the others I've tried, and this week I've learn new vocab so much more easily! Very pleased. Recommend.

  37. Margot St. Pierre-avatar

    Margot St. Pierre

Repeating the questions and answers in different formats such as true/false, multi-choice, matching, etc. THANK YOU

  38. Ks D-avatar

Regularly app shows "no internet connection" with no reason. Quite irritating and prevents from work out when it is really needed.

  39. Peter He-avatar

Very helpful. It will not guarantee a passing grade. But it will increase your chance of passing drastically. It doesn't give you the answers to the test directly, but will challenge yourself to be in a "testing mode" and make you more comfortable during a test setting. It won't give you everything you need to learn, but will provide a big part of it. And remember, quizlet is created by students/ teachers that attended the lecture before you.

  40. Alana Lewis-avatar

Great app. It is harder to access some of the features if you don't buy the subscription but the best parts are still available. I love the option if gives - reminding you to study in small amounts every day, up until the day of your test. I also appreciate that it gives you the option to say you were correct so the algorithm correctly adjusts to your learning.

  41. Aarin Humphrey-avatar

At random times the will not play flashcards. The only reason I use this app is the play the flash cards out loud! Please fix.

  42. Jose Villanos-avatar

The app is AMAZING. I use this all of the time and it work great. Help me study for a lot of tests, thanks.

  43. Charan Kamana-avatar

This app is literally awesome! One day, I decided that I wanted to improve my vocabulary. I looked at many apps, until I saw this. It was perfect, there are study sets, tests, games, etc... I would recommend this app to anyone and everybody. Hope this review is helpful and don't forget to keep making updates!

  44. David Malone-avatar

Great learning tool. How ever the app has different options on the Apple version that make it a lot more useful than the android version. I wish that the creators of this app would bring the android up to the Apple version. Especially since I am paying for the plus. I don't like having to carry my ipad around with me just to get the extra benefits. Great idea and good app. poor execution by the creator.

  45. Brad Wisn-avatar

Works well across languages. It has an integral dictionary so makes for fast vocab learning. No performance issues noted.

  46. bme lrn-avatar

Perfect flashcard app with customizable decks. Different modes of learning and playing with no annoying ads. If you're interested in learning a new language or anything for that matter that requires memorizing things, this is the perfect choice. Other things that make this great are: web support, and native dark mode.

  47. Abhijit Sonavane-avatar

    Abhijit Sonavane

Good improvement seen in app's interface . Nice work. Still a lot of scope for improvement.

  48. Gustavo Mora-avatar

Very useful app to broaden my English vocabulary... And not only that, but also that it is available in various languages which makes it just more attractive. I've learned vocabulary in French and in English till now, and I have planned to keep using it and recommend it to my friends who are also learning foreign languages. Thanks!

  49. Evan Layton-avatar

An extremely helpful study guide for all subjects. Helping make flashcards useful as well as "green"!

  50. Anna J-avatar

I love this app, it makes learning so effective and fun at the same time, with virtually no ads (or at least placed in a way that it's not disturbing). I hope they will implement more study methods, i love doing them, it's like playing a game on my phone. :-)

  51. Abinav Karthik-avatar

Really Helpful! Sends Notification to Remind. Allows us to Create and join class, leading us to Group Study. I personally Love this App! 5 Star is Less 🌟

  52. Nirdosh Kutty-avatar

Quite good - some testing sections are not really practical e.g. The writing bit because you have to be exact. Otherwise good.

  53. Clinton Cook-avatar

I needed something to be able to practice for my CompTIA exam. Some of the terms I needed to remember were number based and I'm lousy with remembering numbers. I was able to setup a list with 20 protocols and their port numbers and the app just setup a randomized multiple choice test that I could do over and over again until I was answering every question correctly. I would have used this months ago if I knew about it. The best part is it has a website that you can log into, create lists from there instead of your cell phone, and it can be accessible from any portable device that has access to the app.

  54. Khaye Dela Cruz-avatar

    Khaye Dela Cruz

This is a great tool for fun learning. My grades have increased because of this app. Including me, needing extra practice in their studies, and retaining information seemed impossible before I come to use this app. No more spending time writing on flash cards, especially for those who has bad handwriting. This is eco friendly, and convenient for students. Very user-friendly.

  55. Renee Rodgers-avatar

They hit my bank account for $19.99. I canceled my plus account a long time ago. Good app, but didn't appreciate getting a charge i didn't authorize.

  56. PESpits-avatar

This app is AMAZING!!! Not only has it mad studying easier, but my teachers are able to give me quizzes on it. And I can retake the quiz till I get a 100! For studying they have pictures on some of the sets; if you are a visual learner that is a blessing. Also some of the sets will read the words to you 😁. I fully recommend this to anyone it makes school so much easier!

  57. Justin Miller-avatar

This app has helped EMMENSLEY in getting me through college. I am a free version user. I have two problems with this app, and I hope the developers read this: 1. I think the notecards should be numbered individually to help keep track of which ones are studied, and to know how far you've gotten. It also would help with remembering them 2. I really wish I could edit the notecards as I'm studying them. I lost count of the amount of times I have seen a spelling error.

  58. Devan Octavian-avatar

The best app for creating flash cards and learning many things, hands down. You won't find similar app better than this, download now no brainer. And don't forget to subscribe to the annual plan for more features and to support the developer, kudos. I learn faster after using this app 100% effective and beneficial. You can also use this on PC which helps a lot.

  59. Bill Cordrey-avatar

Wonderfully helpful flashcard app. There are adds, but they are not distracting.

  60. bang lam-avatar

I tried both Anki and Quizlet, they are both great. Anki has lot of features and customization items, and free. But I chose Quizlet in the end and purchase pro version, because it is easy to set up a set of cards. It is compatible with Windows, so I can use my work computer to log in quizlet website and set a deck to learn at my break time and sync with my phone. Quizlet has more testing features make learning like playing games. If quizlet can show IPA, then it is perfect for me.

  61. Xuan Nguyen-avatar

Amazing app!!! Really helpful for language learners. I used the free version, beside not being able to put pictures into flashcards, everything else is great. I got most benefits I can expect from the free version. I do expect that when i create many sets and put them into 1 folder, i can study the whole folder altogethe. I made sets to keep track on my study, but i do wish to study the whole folder to have a general view of my progress. If you can add that, it would be great 😍 thank you

  62. Josiah Campbell-avatar

    Josiah Campbell

I really like this app, and it's very helpful in allowing me to study vocabulary. I've definitely seen my grades improve a lot since I got this app. One thing, however, is it seems that the app performance is noticably worse on Android than it is on Apple. When I owned an iPhone SE, sets loaded in less than a second when I clicked on them. Now, it could take up to twenty seconds on my Samsung Galaxy S9, even if the sets are downloaded.

  63. Jasmin Garcia-avatar

It is really really good for studying anything you want. Languages, math terms or problems, vocabulary. Just about anything, it's honestly so so great. 10/10 recommended.

  64. Jacob Bertok-avatar

I've been using quizlet since highschool and all the way through college. It's an invaluable way to have workable study material at the tip of your fingers.

  65. Avery Mack-avatar

Quizlet is amazing! I use the free version, and still get everything I need out of Quizlet. Whether it's last-minute cramming or a study plan set weeks before a test, quizlet is a perfect tool. You can even include multiple languages, play games, use flashcards, and assess your skills. Teachers can use it for tests and quizzes too! Whether you're a student, teacher, or just a curious individual, get Quizlet and explore! Trust me😁

  66. Bian-avatar

I love it! I've been learning Korean for more than two years and I've realized a few days ago how helpful this app is! It's helping me so much to learn vocabulary, and it's fun. I also love that I can choose more than one language to translate the word I'm learning, so I can use the language with which I find easier to remember or to understand the meaning of that specific word. I want to say I'd like it to tell you how much words you've learned and advanced in a period of time, and widgets!

  67. Dorotea H-avatar

I've had this for over a year now. Worth the premium if you're studying a new language because you can upload your own description pictures or memory map images, record voice for pronunciation and study offline. But if you don't need the extras then the free version should be sufficient.

  68. Kristóf Makó-avatar

It's a great tool to learn a foreign language and it's free to use. But I'm really sad that you have to pay for the offline edition.

  69. LeDoritosMann-avatar

For some reason resets all the flashcards when I minimise the app when editing a deck. Really frustrating.

  70. Tom Napp-avatar

Most of the features are very well designed however, the diagram feature is broken for me

  71. Ida ._.-avatar

Very clean and easy to use. The practice and tests are varied, asking you to for example write the word in either your target language or your native language, choose the correct translation from several options and asking you to answer true or false questions. When making sets the app will try to guess what word you're typing and give options to choose from. I speak relatively "unpopular" languages and the app gave very good guesses in my opinion. Would definitely recommend to others 5/5

  72. arek warren-avatar

This app is so helpful!!! i use it for school and learning languages, and mostly swedish. it has audio for flashcards and you can set languages for sets, it's so good! one thing i would LOVE to see but dont really need is having multiple answers for flashcards, as sometimes theres many meanings for words in other languages. other than that, i love it so much!! Arek

  73. Nate Glass-avatar

Paid for go, but 50% of the time it won't work when I'm offline.

  74. Yekaterina Makhanova-avatar

    Yekaterina Makhanova

Excellent app for flashcards learning and creation. One moment I see to improve in Teacher mode is to allow me as a teacher to see the progress of my students in Classes. And it would be nice if my students can see marked stars by me in a word list to study them further. I would be grateful if you can implement such changes.

  75. Rebecca Stepp-avatar

I use this app all the time for school work! It really helps me understand the meaning of something and sometimes provide me with pictures! You should definitely try this app out!

  76. Sydney Taylor-avatar

Great study tool. You can create your own flash cards. You can take from other users' study sets (though I would recomend verifying their information). The quizzing options are the best part. Instead of memorizing your flash cards, the quizzes allow you to actively learn the content.

  77. M H-avatar

Not good for learning programming. It won't let you save a set if it interprets your flashcards as script/code. They told me that they would "consider" making it more coding-friendly in the future. How hard is it to just treat all flashcards as literals? My subscription is about to lapse anyway so I guess I'm about to switch to Studyblue

  78. Benyamin Salvador-avatar

This app is amazing, but doesn't allow you to make the most interesting, brain goggling test out there. It doesn't allow kids to use their imagination and logic in games and tests. It needs Finding words in crosswords Feature and Make a sentence out of these words only Feature. Come on, this app needs to be more out there and make kids think like 22th century thinkers.

Really good app. It really helps me to memorize my vocabularies easily. I already recommended this app to my friends and they already downloaded this app, so right now it is easy for us to study at home and in anyplace where we are. I hope that atleast reading my flashcards offline will be free. And just need internet when you need to add something. Peace ✌️

It's the first time I tried this app and it's soo good!! I wasn't able to learn any new material that I got. I was literally dying for an app to save me! And then, it dropped at my home screen and voila! I downloaded it!!! It's such a great app I've learnt everything noww!!! Kudos!!!💜💜

Happy to find this product, easy to use for better learning experience for my exam. Stay well.

I'm a bit of a dullard with tech stuff, but once I got a handle on how the app works it was extremely helpful for studying. It wasn't at all hard to figure out. I don't always have my physical flash cards with me but I always have my phone, so whenever I find myself waiting around I can be studying, and it's made a huge difference in my grades.

There are many good things about this app, but one glaring thing is the inability to search for a word in my word bank, especially when I want to add to the definition or edit it in some way. So frustrating!

Amazing learning tool. I wish I had this in school. The free version is excellent not like other apps how they trick you with extremely limited functionality. 100% recommend this anyone. I have dyslexia and its helping me learn faster. Easy to use. Likely to buy and unlock the rest of the functions. Happy Learning!

I am giving only 4 stars because it is missing what I wish they add on it.. 2 features that I would like for this app to improve. 1) it should let the user upload image on the term and not the definition only. ALSO, if you can upload more than one image in the term or definition then the better 2) the multiple choice test features should let you pick up choices only from that term that you are answering and not mixing all the choices from the definitions

This app has improved a lot since I first used it several years ago. The user experience is fantastic! It does a great job at helping you learn new vocabulary for a foreign language. I will be recommending this to others for sure. The one thing I would like to see added would be the ability to play the audio for all cards at one time.

Very nice app to practice tests anywhere, however very often spelling of words is wrong and requires understanding of what the question is really saying, that's why I gave 4 stars, if that problem was troubleshoot I would give 5 stars.

Very Helpful! I enjoy the app. There are some things you can do on the site that the app doesnt work as well for, but overall it works fairly well. I will say that sometimes it acts like it's not online and that's a little frustrating. Overall though I love quizlet and it's a very helpful tool for college!!

Great for studying, would give 5 stars if the auto audio playback wasn't so clunky. It gets stuck on the first set that is picked unless unless I restart my phone... among other troubleshooting steps. It would be ideal to pick any set successively and have it all read to me so I could study while doing other things.

Been using this for a while and the sync between the devices is pretty bad at times where I havent been able to study before a test because it didnt sinc to my phone from my laptop. The most frustrating thing is I always put my flashcards on shuffle and ill be going through a deck of over 100 cards and during it they will unshuffle and start giving them to me in the order I made them, which is not helpful. I would recommend looking for a different app that would work better.

Overall pretty awesome. It would be nice to have some level of text edit option even if not in full but there is the paid option for full text editing among other benefits. My only complaint so far: when selecting Japanese (romanji) it still pronounces some of it in the American alphabet. Ex: あ is pronounced "ah" [language - japanese] A is pronounced "ay" [language - japanese romanji] This feature is awesome but I feel appropriately matched Pronunciation for romanji would be awesome.

While reading the 1100 vocabulary book, I felt the need to somehow find a way to review the vocabularies I learn throughout the book for the future review (without having to carry the book with me!) And I'm happy that I found Quizlet! :) Easy to use and an awesome app to have and count on for learning languages.

ABSOLUTLY HORRIBLE DO NOT GET!!!! The membership 7 day trial was a terrible mistake!!!! It was super complicated to cancel the subscription and it charged me over 20 dollars!!! Don't even think about asking for a refund because they dispute EVERYTHING!!!!

I used this app while studying Dutch for learning words , it was very helpful. A additional star can be given if they allow more forms of a word to be uploaded in one go. For example : take the verb in present tense and to learn the same word in future tense.

This app helps me in various ways Like memorizing definitions while I am just typing I just got by heart So this is absolute app for students and I just use this app for social science and science like Biology for my definition by heart works in this app for the students who was struggle for Flashcards is well and it is well known for

This app was a life saver when I was in Massage Therapy School. I enjoyed the. Flashcards, tests and all the different options you could use when you take a test. Being able to store your favorite Quizlet subjects in different folders was really helpful and I liked that you could share the folders and Quizlet with other people.

I have been using this app for years (7 years now) and it has never failed to help me memorize my information. It's easy to create flashcards and they have a number of ways you can interaction with your flashcards, making it even easier and more effective for learning them. Extremely highly recommended.

A really useful method of learning with the ability to test oneself and share study sets. The ability to use photographs is a great feature and it would be even better if more photographs could be added to one side of a 'flashcard'. I recommend this app for memorising a variety of things.
