Pulaar is an app for learning the Fula language, spoken by around 40 million people across West Africa. LEARN BY LISTENING 352 recordings by native speakers. Tap a word, hear it pronounced, read the translation. Everything works offline. VOCABULARY Greetings, meeting people, numbers, days of the week, months, trade, useful expressions and proverbs. Every word is illustrated and spoken. GRAMMAR Seven sections to understand how Pulaar works: - Personal pronouns, including the difference between "we with you" and "we without you" - Possessive pronouns, which follow the noun - "To be" and "to have", explained through a dialogue - Negation and its suffixes - Question words - Logical connectors - Words for location THE ALPHABET All 33 letters of Pulaar, including ɓ, ɗ, ñ, ŋ and ƴ, each spoken aloud. PRACTISE Multiple-choice quizzes for every section, with instant feedback. A LEXICON Over 300 searchable words, from everyday vocabulary to cultural terms. TWO INTERFACE LANGUAGES French or English.
