When doing a pub walk, the app works like Sat Nav but with footpath data, so you can see your location and direction as you walk around the route. Very easy to follow and no need to read lengthy text descriptions of the walk. There are over 200 hand-selected circular Pub Walks from around the country with GPS navigation and fully offline maps. Every pub walk on the app is between 2 and 10 miles long and every walk has a lovely pub directly on the route. You can view the pub walks in the list tab that shows you the walks nearest to you wherever you are, or you can browse the pub walks using the map tab to investigate walks anywhere in the country. The app includes details of the walk (distance, estimated time, recommended direction and a summary description) and all of the details about the pub that you need (contact details, directions, photo, description, dog policy, food and facilities). There is a map for each pub walk that shows you the circular route from the front door of each pub. As you start a pub walk, it shows you your location and direction as you walk around, making it very easy to follow without getting lost. All of the pub walk maps are stored in the original download so the app works completely offline and you do not need an internet signal for the app to work when you do the walk. This is just the beginning of an exciting project and we hope to add new pub walks all over the UK in regular updates to the app.

Not that many "pubs to walk to at present for us, nearest on is 14 miles away on the app, when in truth there are quite a few less than a mile away. I've no idea why thry aren't listed on the app, maybe it's because there are "conditions" to be included on the app. Anyway, I don't fancy a 28 mile round trip to go for a pint or two. However if this is updated sometime, I can see this app being really useful and fun.

Love this app. The gps direction arrow is very accurate so you're never unsure which way go go! As someone else has said, we have found the app sometimes seems to crash, mid-walk, so you have to re-find the walk via the map screen. Pubs have also been good, so far!

Had a good look at the app before setting off after reading Fiona's review, its not very clear how to get on to map and description but i worked it out. 1.Click on the grey box with the distance on, this takes you to the map screen 2.when you're on the map click on the "i" in the circle, top right on my screen. This gives more details about the walk. Looking forward to a countryside walk and a visit to the pub this afternoon with our dog 🍻 cheers

Lacking in any details about the walk, such as: A brief description of the walk (however it creates a great profile of all the pubs); There is nothing to indicate the level of difficulty or the terrain; or any other cautions useful for dog owners or parents. Nor is there any mention of things of interest to look out for.

I've used this app several times and I really like it. Very clear routes and the arrow ensures no wrong turns. The pubs we've visited have been good too, all have welcomed our dogs. Great app, looking forward to more adventures.

Good app. On my phone(pixel3) if I leave app e.g. to take picture when I return to the app I am back to the opening screen and not the walk I am doing. I then have to reselect the walk I want to find map again. this had been fixed by google update.

This is a great idea for an app & I can't wait to try it out! It would be useful to see the walk difficulty level more prominently (maybe colour coding on the map), rather than hidden in the easily missed grey 'walk info' button once you click on the pub.

Nice and basic app and easy to use. It'll be good to add the option to fav/save walks we are interested in and moreover another option for "route done" to have a history of the completed walk. Thanks

Enjoying using this app which is fun to use. Hoping there will be more Sussex walks soon. The Castle pub Outwood is currently shut down but the Bell pub at Outwood on the circular walk is open and does nice food.

Only used this once, but walk was accurate and app worked fine. Maybe a little fiddly in the map screen, but generally a good app.
