Pot ob žici, ki jo lahko imenujemo tudi povojni pomnik na čase, ko je Ljubljano obdajala bodeča žica, je mestni rekreacijski obroč, ki vsako leto na začetku maja privabi več kot 30.000 udeležencev. Pohod za vse starostne skupine – od vrtcev do odraslih – je speljan po nezahtevni 32,5 km dolgi progi, na kateri je organiziranih osem devet kontrolnih točk. Začetek poti je prepuščen individualni odločitvi, kakor je odločitev posameznika tudi, kolikšen del poti bo prehodil. Vsaka kontrolna točka je namenjena zbiranju žigov, za celotno prehojeno pot pa udeleženci prejmejo posebna priznanja. Za prehojeno pot prejmete naslednja priznanja: · za enkratno prehojeno pot bronasto kolajno; · za petkratno prehojeno pot srebrno kolajno; · za desetkratno prehojeno pot zlato kolajno. Pot lahko prehodite na enkrat ali večkrat v več etapah. Kje boste začeli ni določeno. Pričnete lahko tam, kjer vam najbolj ustreza. Vaša naloga je, da zberete vseh devet kontrolnih žigov. Žige lahko zbirate s pomočjo naložene aplikacije ali na kartončku, medalijo kolajno pa prevzamete na TIMINGu Ljubljana, društvu za izvedbo športnih programov na Staničeva 41.
