Description
With the Preventicus Heartbeats medical device, you can check your heart rhythm in just one minute using the smartphone camera. Regular use supports the detection of cardiac arrhythmia, especially atrial fibrillation.
That's what Preventicus Heartbeats is all about:
- No other devices: the smartphone camera alone is used to analyse the heart rhythm in detail. Can be carried out anytime and anywhere.
- We won't leave you on your own: After the measurement, you will receive a detailed analysis including recommendations for action. Abnormal results can be reviewed by our medical experts.
- NEW: More than just analyses: We accompany you through your everyday life with personalised articles for your heart health.

- Convenient but precise: measurement results are checked automatically and abnormal values are verified by a doctor.

Intended use
The purpose of the app is to recognise indications of cardiac arrhythmia. These include
- an irregular pulse with suspected atrial fibrillation
- Suspicion of other cardiac arrhythmias with frequent irregular heartbeats
- determination of the heart rate (heart rate, pulse, pulse rate) with indications of a pulse that is too low or too high
Important notes
All results are suspected diagnoses, not a diagnosis in the medical sense. Suspected diagnoses do not replace personal consultation, diagnosis or treatment by a doctor.
This app must not be used to make decisions in situations that are perceived as life-threatening (e.g. heart attack).

The quality management system of Preventicus GmbH is certified according to ISO 13485:2021. This standard formulates and defines the internationally applicable requirements for quality management systems, particularly for medical device manufacturers.
