L'aplicació PTV és una ferramenta de consulta de terminologia científica que, per la seua especificitat, no és possible incorporar en el Diccionari normatiu valencià de l'Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua. Es tracta d’una aplicació que funciona de manera complementària al DNV. Si una paraula no està en el DNV, automàticament la busca en el PTV, i a la inversa. Es tracta, per tant, de dos aplicacions que funcionen interrelacionades per a oferir una resposta global als dubtes lingüístics dels valencians. It is an application that works as a complement to DNV. If a word is not in DNV, automatically searches the PTV, and vice versa. It is, therefore, two interrelated applications that work to provide a global response to the doubts of the Valencian language.
