Pixelmon Hunter é um jogo de ação multijogador que combina a jogabilidade tradicional de tiro em terceira pessoa com gráficos inspirados em Minecraft e criaturas inspiradas em Pokémon. Antes de começar a jogar, você pode escolher entre mais de 30 skins diferentes e uma variedade de criaturas. Algumas das skins são personagens de outros jogos famosos: Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Dark Souls, Bioshock, Mortal Kombat, e muitos outros. Em Pixelmon Hunter, você pode jogar online contra outros jogadores ou sozinho contra inimigos controlados por IA. Independentemente do modo de jogo escolhido, a jogabilidade é sempre a mesma: use os controles à esquerda para mover seu personagem e os botões à direita para atacar, trocar de armas e pular.
