You can also download com.pdanet APK and run it with the popular Android Emulators.

Version 5.10 has major changes, MUST read below before updating.

1. Windows side also need updating from http://pdanet.co/install
2. Original WiFi Hotspot feature remains in the separate FoxFi app if you still need it, just install from Play Store. You can also find previous (4.19) version of PdaNet+ at http://pdanet.co/install/old
3. New location permission required by Android due to WiFi scan API call.

Please be aware that with no root access there are technical limitations of what an app can do. We try our best to offer the "most convenient solution possible" for sharing phone Internet but it may not be an "ideal" or "universal" solution (e.g. a normal WiFi Hotspot). It may not work for particular devices.

=====WiFi Direct Hotspot (new!) ====
PdaNet+ now comes with a completely new "WiFi Direct Hotspot" feature that works on all Android phones 4.1 or later. It allows you to connect computers and tablets to your phone using WiFi BUT it will require you to either install our client app or setup proxy depending on what device you are connecting to the phone. You can activate "WiFi Direct Hotspot" in PdaNet+ then tap the "Help!" button for detail instructions.

*If your Windows computer does not see the hotspot during pairing please do two things: 1. Restart Hotspot on the phone.
2. Click on "Show All WiFi Direct Hotspot". It will verify if your adapter supports 5Ghz.

====FoxFi/WiFi Hotspot Mode (the old) ====
The original WiFi Hotspot feature remains in the separate FoxFi app if you still need it. It has ceased to function on many newer phone models due to carrier updates. Even when it works, your hotspot usage may still be metered (see plan 2 below). WiFi Direct Hotspot could solve both issues. However the new feature is not meant to support game devices, TVs or TV streaming devices.

=====USB Mode=====
USB mode works on all Android phones (except for some ZTE/Alcatel models). It allows connection from Windows or Mac. In addition, there is a "WiFi Share" feature that can further turn Windows into a WiFi Hotspot so that you share PdaNet Internet with other devices.

*If your phone is not recognized by your computer after connecting USB, please see http://pdanet.co/driver

=====Bluetooth Mode=====
Bluetooth mode is now obsolete and you should use WiFi Direct Hotspot instead. Bluetooth mode may be disabled in future updates.

=====Do I need this software?=====
The PdaNet software has been around since the first Treo smart phone in 2003. With over 30 million downloads in total, it must be something that everyone needs, right? Well...it really depends on the kind of data plan you have for your phone. There are 4 kinds of data plans from most carriers:

1. Your data plan (limited or unlimited) does not allow you to turn on the mobile hotspot feature on the phone (it prompts you to call your carrier).

2. Your data plan is unlimited and you can turn on mobile hotspot from your phone to use it. But hotspot usage is "metered" against a cap (say 5G/month). After that the speed will be throttled to a crawl. (FoxFi can't avoid this!)

3. Your data plan is unlimited, and you can turn on mobile hotspot from your phone with unlimited LTE usage and no throttling cap. This plan does NOT exist or not intended. But we have seen loopholes on some phone models to allow it.

4. You data plan is limited and it allows you to turn on mobile hotspot from your phone. The mobile hotspot usage goes under the same data plan limit.

If your plan falls under 1 or 2, you will need to use PdaNet+. If your plan belongs to 3 or 4 then PdaNet+ will not make any difference. If you are unsure what plan you have, it won't harm to always use PdaNet+.

Free edition of PdaNet+ will have timed usage limit, otherwise it is same as full version.

Sprint and AT&T may not allow you to install our app from Play Store, please install the apk file directly from http://pdanet.co/install or install from the computer side.

App ChangeLog

Reviews From google play store

Installed this app to USB tether to PC. Had to download the PC version of the app on my phone to the SD card then plug phone into the computer and copy the exe file onto PC and install. PDANet works great tethered and I have had no problems. I have not tried the WiFi hotspot function or Bluetooth so I can't speak on that. I needed this because my USB wifi adapter broke. It was old and needed replaced anyway. This app got me through until I could afford another one. Internet>Food/Water/Shelter.

The latest update is causing some no loading issues when tethered to PC. It will say I am connected but web pages won't load while tethered wired. It happens sporadically and can go down for a few minutes or until I disconnect and reconnect, and even that doesn't work most times. Could be the latest PC client as well as I updated that too.

PDAnet is a must-have for anyone who wants to be prepared for internet outages. You can tether the data from your phone using this app to your PC or other devices, regardless of whether or not you are paying your mobile carrier for the ability to tether.

Works like a charm! Gets around the fact that I don't pay for a mobile hotspot, and works as a directwifi or USB tether. I'm not getting the cut offs other people are, I've had this running for hours at a time.

Didn't work. Galaxy s7 active

Been using this app for over 5 years now. I use it to hook to my pc and then use that as my home internet and 90% of the time it works without a hitch. I've recommend this to numerous friends.

Great app and have been using it for years.....excellent for torrent downloads. The new wifi connect works fast and easy connection to laptops.

Works well, no problem so far, wayyyyy better than clockworkmod's app(with its bs 50mb limit and cant play rainbow 6 with it). Please use pdanet for usb tether, its the best :)

This app sucks now!! It started disconnecting after 2 hours Bluetooth or hotspot mode 2 weeks ago. Now it disconnects after 5 minutes!!!

Works amazingly well when using the wifi hotspot! I can finally use my data on my much more convenient tablet! :D

Only works when you can install client side software. Will not work as plain old open WiFi for game consoles or TV or firestick

Have been using this app to connect since windows mobile (before android existed). Can't thank the developers enough

Was working really well until last update now all I keep getting is error 16

Since the update it doesn't work. I wish I could get the older version that worked perfectly.

UPDATE: PdaNet responded, but I did not buy FoxFi like they said I did. I paid for the code within the app. Still no code and still down $7.99. I paid the $7.99 for the full version, never got the email with the code. Now I'm down $7.99 and without an activation code.

App no longer working? Says address already in use?

I gave 5 stars which I barely ever do because it helped me calm down when I was angry.. see we had acquired the telus $125 a month unlimited plan of 50 gigs on fast internet and after that slowed down but we didn't know they canceled hot spot after 50 gigs.. I called them and the aholes were like ya... we dont let you use your data the way you want after 50 gigs... not even an option to pay to have hotspot activity. All my devices i use were useless. My family without wifi.. BUT pdanet saved Us!

Well worth the money, especially after the new update.

Please help me when i want to connect with my pc i entered password but its not connect. Why?

No longer works on android, bummed I paid for it...

Best innovating app I've seen to take us in the future of technology!

Flawless bought the full version right away

great app. Thumbs up!

PC didn't have a Wifi card, and I wanted to find an alternative to buying a card or dongle. Other things mostly had cellular sharing and I didn't want to eat up my data. Installed this on an retired phone for Wifi-only tethering; it works well. Minor glitches sometimes, but they're easily fixed; for the price, it's a good deal. UPDATE: A few months later, the persistence of the connection drops has gotten really old. Sometimes it's downright flaky. It's still good when it works, which is most of the time, but a drop here and a drop there adds up to a major annoyance after a while.

Wonderful App! Totally FIXED my slow, slow, Internet connection overall and while tethering (tethering my main reason for downloading this app)! If you have a slow connection because of a cap put on your mobile tethering account, you should really download this app👍---you will soon be watching videos, etc. again!. It's a beautiful thing that the developers of this app share it with the world, and for free! Thank you!

Awesome app! 2 Thumbs up!!!

I gave up on this app (in favor of EasyTether) a long time ago because the USB tether connection always was being dropped after a few minutes. I had the paid version. Today I forgot my USB-C cable for my Pixel-3XL. I took another look at PDANet to see if the wifi hot spot feature was working yet. Was it ever! And it stays connected for a decent amount of time! On my long train ride, I think it only dropped me once. With a strong carrier LTE signal (T-Mobile), I was getting > 10Mb/sec (My plan throttles regular hot spot to less than 1 Mbps). I'll retry the USB tether later and if that has improved, I'll up it to 5 stars!

Works great - any plans for a Chromebook client?

Works great on my Samsung Note 10 Plus. Just to be sure I walked across the street with my laptop and phone to make sure my laptop still connected to the Internet. Speeds of download and upload were great (using cell phone tower of course). Thanks so much for making this app! I've been looking for a hotspot solution for long car drives for my Sprint phones. I immediately went out and purchased the key to support you. 👍👍👍

Yeah a little advice. I love this application. Long time user here and works great when it stays connected but it needs an option where you click stay connected or something similar like auto re connect because every time I turn around this app is unchecking the option I selected then I half to go and re check USB tether. ANNOYING It's a major pain in the ars.

Paid for foxfi and used it with no problem them one day it says connected to wifi but will not actually connect to any device at all. After 4 days of trying everything I read to no avail I Uninstalled and paid to reinstall with padnet. It has now worked for 1 week and is doing the same thing. Connected to wifi on my devices but not connecting to the internet. PLEASE FIX THIS.

Please do not getg rid of the bluetooth support!!! This is one feature that works perfectly for me and i rellie upon it heavily!!!! The reason, i dropped my stars from 5 to 4 is only because this version, it says it is no nolonger officially supported and will be disabled. In the future.

Wow, I really didn't think anything could get by straight talk's evil ways, but this thing is Pure"""""""" GOLD""""!!!! and if continues to work as it is now', I am buying the Pro version unlocker and may even promote it, but I don't want to jinx anything but will definitely tell all my friends and family. This is the best app ever made. Period !!!!!!!

I used the app daily up until a year ago, wifi direct worked like a charm and USB tethering still does to this day. However I am unable to get wifi direct working, this may be due to having a verizon device. Four stars for the good times will update to five if I can sort this issue out.

I've been using this on & off for years & hate to give it such a low rating, b/c it's the only thing I can find that works. But it only works well some of the time, has lots of issues, & the PC app is a POS. Also, I sent a detailed email explaining some of the issues I've run into, so they could improve their FAQ to help others & hopefully help figure out some of the issues I was still having, but never received a response. And finally, it uses the GPS location permission, which is unnecessary.

It was working good to USB tether my laptop to get high speed internet with my Samsung Galaxy J3 Aura but now after the update it kicks me off and says i have hit the limit for how much stuff i can send/receive from the internet in the free version even when my laptop is not sending or receiving anything (i can check Task Manager to see every wifi and ethernet connection [usb ones too] on windows 7 pro) so don't download this app unless you want to be forced to pay for it

The app works as stated and is extremely easy to set up. I work from home doing IT support which requires remote access to company workstations. Due to security settings using satellite internet (only thing abailable) there is a significant delay with the connection. This is not the case with PdaNet+. Even with lower down/up speeds PdaNet+ is so successfull at mimicing a hard-wired broadband connection there is no delay! Without it I would run out of hotspot data in less than a week, thanks!

My recommendation, don't buy this app. It needs updating to work with the latest Android OS. It's a dissapointment now, worked fine on my Moto G-6, then became buggy after I updated to Android Pie. Fails to connect to my laptop, crashes, at times says I have two versions of PdaNet installed. Shuts down abruptly for no reason, and I have the paid version. Needs fixing if this is a pay for play app. If you sell a product, make sure it works!

Awesome! For any one who's given this app a negative review, then you don't understand WHY your device does not have tethering built-in as one of your DROID features. Anyone that has app working has done the research. This app clearly bridges the gap on lower end DROIDS. A simple, NO ROOT FIX! App working now for almost five years on several different DROIDS using tablets, laptops, and even PCs, in the mountains of Colorado. As long as your DROID has data, you got net. Best $7 I ever spent!

First of all, this is the only app where wifi Tethering works! I have purchased the full version. The app works overall. My family can connect to my phone, but after a while the Hotspot seams to freeze. No new clients seem to able connect. This is kind of annoying, but I can live with it. If the addressed issue gets resolved, I will happily change my rating to five stars! Keep up the good work!

Used this app previously on an older phone. Purchased for an android one phone, even though it said it was compatible the WiFi part did not work, so if you're android pie or above and want it for WiFi then avoid this app, I asked the developer if they intended to update for android 9 and all they told me was that WiFi doesn't work and I have to use USB.

2 stars as this last update now won't allow my samsung tablet to connect. It was working perfectly.. Whatever you did, messed it up.. Prior to this, i used it daily to connect my tablet for easier gaming streams and easier social media engagement as well as other info. Internet in my area is expensive and this helped remove a huge financial burden.

This app used to work perfectly with Windows 10. It survived many upgrades. Now it doesn't even work. I cannot seem to remove the driver so I can do a clean reinstallation, PS I am on build 17763.678 Okay. I take it back! I needed to download build PdaNetA5105 for my PC. Works like it used to!!

Ive used PDANet+ for years. Right now I don't have a regular internet provider and this is what I use. Ita every bit as fast and reliable. My wife was a little mad when I took my phone to work so we got it for her too. We are both on LG Stylo 4 with Metro, I have a Win7 machine and she has a Win10 machine. Flawless.

great used it sense before hot spot came on phones. worked great then and still kicks but on att $65 plan for teather mode direct wifi works just not on the 65 dollar plan. but works fine on metro pcs 65 dollar plan. you're phone dose matter to. pos phones may lag from sending and receiving to much at once. but thats not the app its the phone. any galaxy phone even the cheap ones work amazing. need 2 bars of service and u got teather net. easy to set up. lol for sure compared to the Motorola days

Does work with cricket service, moto cruise 5, must / may need to install on Devices you are needing internet to as well as device you are giving internet from. Says can work on tablets & computer. So far tested on a cell phone. So you will need to add app to non internet devices, by another means such as a library or something. Once that done, you will be golden 😁

best (hotspot) ever i have been trying to get a pda net which its called hotspot that allows you to browse your internet on your phone why waste your money on hotspot for $10 at cricket this saved me money except for the full version other than that ive had no issue with this app i have been using this for 5 years in order to use this you have to have a working phone number with data plan and for example i have 3 devices i want to use it but you would have to install pda net on other device

I have straight talk unlimited data plan but straight talk doesn't offer mobile hotspot so this app proved to be almost the perfect solution. The only complaint I have about this app only exists because (I imagine) it's the only way possible and thats the fact you need the app not only on you transmitting device but also the receiving devices... that being said, cant share to my playstation.

It was alright for free. Constent drops and half the speed of phones built in hot spot. Instuctions don't read well for new users. Tip: Needs pc software that you can dl to phone and transfer to pc via usb (charger).

I bought the full version of this app a long time ago, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that all things considered, this has been the best purchase I have ever made. (considering the cost of the full version vs. the money it saved me for not paying for wifi)

Extremely useful when it works, it may just be my computer but my cellphone continuously unplugs my usb connection over and over unless I restart my cellphone, but as far as usb tethering this is the best app, gives full speed unlike native usb tethering which is only 1mb for me, this gives me all 4mbs my cellphone usually gets, tested with speedtest on PC.

Excellent customer service with a great product. Purchased about a year ago and somehow lost login info for an email account which I used to sign in with. Email my situation to tech support and was promptly emailed back with a solution. A++

Good app to use when my wifi is down. Only annoying part is the connection shuts off despite having FoxFi Key full version. Every single time it hits the limit it tells me to buy the full version. This is incredibly annoying during online games.

Not solve my issue. Been tried for free version to see its performance, so sad, after connected several minutes, the connection lost... Have to reconnected again n again.. Please impressed me 1st by solving the issue before u asking me my money

Don't buy the key! It's a rip off! It won't transfer! I've used this app for awhile now, going back to when it was only foxfi. I liked it so much I bought the 7.99 key back then. I upgraded my device low and behold I had to repurchase the key. I figured something got lost between devices or something like that and paid a second time. Now I've upgraded my device again and wouldn't you guess I have to re purchase the key. This company cares about the dollar instead of the consumer.

Ran out of tether data. Installed this app and I am back online. LG Stylo 4 without root. Latest update stops moving data until I unlock my phone. Rolled back and problem is gone.

The bug seems to be fixed and this is one of the best data sharing apps i know of. It does, rarely cut off but its not that big of a problem. other than that, 5/5 rating!

First used PDAnet/FoxFi in 2012. After intial 7 min 'free trial' hotspot working on several devices, I gladly purchased. Android OS updates are constantly blocking us from using our data as we need and PDAnet/FoxFi team has been consistent in work-arounds. My home is far from the city, and the DSL service is worthless. This app is the only reason I'm able to get any work done online. Even w/ 'generic' hotspot n/a, I plan to contribute more monetary support. This team deserves it. Thanks y'all.

this app is absolutely awesome when at camp my wife has no internet (verizon towers ) I turn this app on and few taps she is connected thru my phone (at&t towers) has to be installed on the main phone and whatever device u intend to use. we both are on S-TALK wink wink...lol

Connection is always dropping as of late. I love this app a lot and paid for it. Hopefully the bug can be fixed.

I had Pdanet+ on my old phone (LG K7) and loved it, but when I got my Samsung sky j7, it would not work at all. That has been fixed as of this update, and I am soooooo happy! Anyone who has a hotspot capable phone, but the hotspot feature is blocked or has a ridiculous limit on it should definitely try this app! Free your phone from the chains that your cellular provider has imposed upon it 😁

recently it's been disconnecting from my computer when I'm using it and I try reconnecting it then it won't connect but other than that haven't really had problems with it that's the only thing that I've having issues with but other than that I highly recommend this app

Trash. The app required all devices to be running an app from PDA net. Just make the host device broadcast a WiFi hotspot. Even with the all devices running the PDAnet apps, it doesn't work. Don't waste your time.

This use to work flawlessly. Now it won't recognize or see that an Android phone is trying to connect and the Android phone won't automatically see the available networks. In addition, after a start and stop so the network is recognizable, I have to manually enter the random password. I was able to live with different networks everytime, but it just don't appear when I want it to.

This app is really useful! My mobile data is unlimited but my hotspot is not. So I use this app to hide the thether usage. Finally I can play games on my laptop. Thank you so much!

Neglects to mention that I have to also install stuff on my laptop, which if I was able to do I would not need to jump through hoops and connect through my phones Wi-Fi, I would just connect to the internet in the first place on my laptop!

gonna give this a meh out of 5. the free app limits you to a certain amount of data before you have to restart it. paid the amount for the ability not to deal with that and it worked great for a month or so, and recently has been cutting off so frequently that I question why I paid for it in the first place. both the PC and android app are up to date. fix ur s***

Phone's Verizon connection 35/30mbps down/up. Laptop's USB tethered connection (after so many hoops) is 260kpbs/650kbps. Google Pixel 3a XL. Tethered connection, especially down stream, is worse with this app vs directly from Verizon ...

Have paid for full version. Worked perfectly for years. Recently says I need to purchase. Not happy, but will keep checking for fix and will update review if resolved. Developer appears to have resolved issue. Took a couple of days, but with just some information on my part and communication from developer, it appears to be resolved! Huge thanks for simply trying to fix issue (again, appears to actually be fixed) and friendly communication! If I could give over 5 stars, it would be worth it.

definitely 5 stars!! this is by far the perfect Wi-Fi HotSpot Solution 4 my fone. cuz im with a fone service that doesnt support the real built-in HotSpot and with this app, i have a new built-in HotSpot thru it and my tethering is completely hidden. Wi-Fi Direct HotSpot saves me from my carrier shutting off my Unlimited Data Plan from tethering even wen its never allowed. im no longer using the real built-in HotSpot that came with the fone. thank U developerz!

Great app, but the PDANet app in Windows does noy set the proxy value for Windows to use the internet in a consistent manner. This can be addressed by manually setting and enabling the Proxy in Windows with the following IP port number and clicking Save: Port 8000. Once this is done you should be able to use PDAnet WiFi Direct with Windows without issue. Edit: The WiFi Direct Option was broken with the Android Q Beta 4 update. I would recommend not installing the beta until PDANet+ releases a fix for this. The Proxy ceases to work properly. Hope this helps.

Have waited to comment, have been using this for 3 months and it has worked flawlessly on my tablet (Android 6) cell, and laptop (win 10) Highly recommend it!!!!!

One of the only apps, I've ever had actually work for me...And its ad-free and totally free..I would like to commend you guys! I'm glad there is still some non-shysters out there! thank you

I really like this app. However I'm having difficulty do to the app must be in the foreground on the master device to port the internet to the slave device. Can this be resolved?

Purchased PdaNet for Android some years ago for tethering my laptop via USB. It worked fine. Then a later update merged PdaNet and Foxfi. I was able to connect via wifi using Wifi Hotspot FoxFi. Now it has "Wifi Direct Hotspot (new)" and legacy "Wifi Hotspot FoxFi". Neither of which will work for me. Laptop will no longer connect via wifi (only USB tethering) and mobile devices sit there saying "obtaining IP address" but never connect. Maybe it's my Samsung Galaxy J3 Luna cell phone, but whatever it is the WiFi hotspot no longer works for me.

I absolutely love this app. The only problem is I now receive a jetframe.dll error when I try to start up the companion app on PC. I hope they can reach out to me and fix it because it has been an absolute lifesaver out on the road because it's hard to find a hotspot with as much data and I like to game a lot over the road in my semi.

This app for a while suddenly error code=1 happened almost everytime it keeps disconnecting. I try to troubleshoot the problems and i find out that my pc doesnt have an adb driver..Do i really need that? Btw my usb cable and usb port are in good condition.

Tried it with four different computers (Laptop & desktop) all running High Sierra. Also with four different phones, Two with different carriers.....This did not work at all. Nothing. Didnt even install the en2 it was supposed to under networks. Not sure whats up with your product, or why it wont work, but your directions on using & set up are pretty vague, listed on the internet, though unavailable here where most people would like to find directions. Its poop for me.

I am a Verizon customer and am on the $70/mo unlimited data plan. My hotspot/tether is restricted to 600kbs...and that speed is never even closly reached which makes streaming media practically impossible. I was a PdaNet user a few years back and after doing some research on trying to speed up my hotspot connection, thought I'd give them another try. I'm happy to say that by using PdaNet+ instead of the built in hotspot/tether app my speeds have doubled and streaming media now it's no problem!

This app literally saved me in college. I read my computer internet off of this for many many months and it was faster than the cable. Well worth the price for the pro version!

data wifi not working

This app is wonderful for providing a very strong 1 gbs connection to everything except Xbox due to it not having any UPnP capabilities. I love it, if possible please somehow give it UPnP capabilities, only thing stopping me from rating 5 stars.

Have same bugs, but function very nice. But need upgrade in desktop software, very old system.

Love this app. Have a unlocked note 9 on Straight talk.$55 ultimate unlimited. had my hotspot reduced to practically nothing (straight talk doesn't offer hot spot) (600kbps) (but is capable of being accessed with a Verizon phone or unlocked phone using the Verizon network on ST) found the wifi direct feature.. and am now hotspotting at 10mbps minimum (depending on the area im in)

It doesn't work 95% of the time with my iPad pro. When it does work, it's only good for basic browsing. None of my apps (YouTube, Instagram, Discord, video streaming services, etc) can connect. I love this with my Android devices but please fix for iPad Pro usage!

I've been using this app while I'm without an ISP to use. I'm on T-mobile and the app mostly works without issues. The only problem I found was that the Wifi Direct Hotspot does not work with T-mobile. Other than that if you want to use the data that YOU have paid for without restrictions this app works just fine.

I've always loved this app until I got a Lenovo tablet. It will show "connected, no internet" Anyone know how to fix this?

Why did it use my hot spot up and now to doesnt even tether......but it used up my hotspot and i never turned it in and it stopped working because hot spot used up ...on metro by t mobile plan unlimitided

Worked great on straight talk. Worked good on Verizon too. Another bonus is that is stops the throttling both companies did to me

I'm still getting the (Checking full version (17) error) I have the full version. I got the key app. I've had it for months almost a year probably. haven't used it in a while. now it's unusable for me. sorry but I gotta give it 1 star till this is fixed.

Lets you tether if you have no alternative. Very unstable on my LG Android, although I do have the free version. Based on this unstable performance (constant disconnects & attempted reconnects), I have no interest in upgrading to eliminate the scheduled 10-minute disconnects.

Best option for those whose carriers do not allow a hotspot connection. Works perfectly on my AT&T Note 9 using straight talk. Life saver.

Good when it works but it disconnects often. When connected to my phone it works well, speeds are good, etc. However, even with the paid version, the connection disconnects every 5-7 minutes, sometimes every 60 seconds. Annoying.

Frequently disconnected. Really annoyed. I was having fun playing online games on my computer but then pdanet always disconnect by itself but still a good apps

This app has been a godsend for long business trips. Doesn't throttle you data usage like your phones built in Hotspot. Hiccups once in a while and shuts off on my phone and drops me from the internet but that's a 5 second fix and happens once every 50 or so hours.

💯⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐💯 I've been using this since back in the day 😎. A must have app!!! It gives me a >>🆓<< hotspot on Boost, MetroPCS and Straighttalk with blazing fast speeds, a simple setup and never having to pay for fast internet access you cant beat it!!! If you havent tried this your missing out my friends losing money you couod be saving on hotspot and wifi bills. I have been using this for years and never had to pay for wifi EVER!!! Thanks developer you the real MVP... 💪😎👍

Works just like I was hoping only one that did. Still works except the key and now can't get it to work. Have used it since it came out what a shame.

There must be a catch right? My 4G LTE data has limited 1GB quata for high speed web surfing. But then I allowed other Android smartphone to connect to my phone with this limited quata! That Android smartphone won't eat up my quata, right? I mean I am switching on both Mobile data & WiFi at the same time in order for that Android smartphone to use my internet! My telco company won't find anything suspicious on my data usage, right? They won't suddenly come blasting me with unpaid bills, right?

Very glad I purchased this app, well worth it. I have been a user of this product for over ten (10) years now, will continue using it.

Not working on my new Samsung A10e with Android Pie 9, works with my older ZTE Max XL just fine, I guess there are some new bugs to work out?

requires following permissions on your android device.

precise location (GPS and network-based)
Allows the app to get your precise location using the Global Positioning System (GPS) or network location sources such as cell towers and Wi-Fi. These location services must be turned on and available to your device for the app to use them. Apps may use this to determine where you are, and may consume additional battery power.

view network connections

view Wi-Fi connections
Allows the app to view information about Wi-Fi networking, such as whether Wi-Fi is enabled and name of connected Wi-Fi devices.

Allows the app to view the configuration of the Bluetooth on the phone, and to make and accept connections with paired devices.

access Bluetooth settings
Allows the app to configure the local Bluetooth phone, and to discover and pair with remote devices.

change network connectivity
Allows the app to change the state of network connectivity.

allow Wi-Fi Multicast reception
Allows the app to receive packets sent to all devices on a Wi-Fi network using multicast addresses, not just your phone. It uses more power than the non-multicast mode.

connect and disconnect from Wi-Fi
Allows the app to connect to and disconnect from Wi-Fi access points and to make changes to device configuration for Wi-Fi networks.

full network access
