Awesome app! I only read audio books and this app is perfect for those! It's got all the features I want, like a way to speed up the narration! I have checked out a few ebooks and they link to my Kindle app super easy so the communication between apps is excellent there. I also just love love love that this service is available. I've listened to over a hundred books this year and every single one of them was free through the library. So worth it!

I have been using OverDrive for years and I love it! It was a little hard at the very first getting through the tutorial and into the app itself but after that it was very easy. I can borrow books from the library and never have to worry about returning them. I also have trouble with my eyes so I listen to a lot of audio books. I use the app nearly every day and for many hours as I work around the house. This is not written by Bob Dowdy, but by Mrs. Dowdy.

It's nice in theory, but it could really use some improvements. Like other people have said, the UI is extremely unintuitive and outdated. It takes a bit if searching to find your ebooks and things like that. There's also the books themselves which have strange formatting. Apostrophes and commas cause all kinds of word spacing issues.

I keep expecting the app to be improved but that hasn't happened as far as I can see. The main screen for searching is always very slow just to be able to access the holds, wishlist, etc. Not intuitive to find the bookshelf. History needs its own search function (by author, eg). Filters selected are not stored. Just some improvements would be appreciated.

I use this app to listen to my library books, but get so frustrated at hope often it crashes. This is very inconvenient and dangerous especially when many audiobooks are used while driving. One has to open the phone open the app click on the book and play their book again. If I were to have a second complaint it would be that there is no easy way back out of the library to the app itself, instead you have to arrow back all the way through.

A great way to listen to audiobooks, but the process of downloading a new book from my local library into the app library is quite confusing. I also wish there were a way for the overdrive app on my desktop and the one on my phone to be synced in a way that it would know where I was up to in the book when I switched devices.

I am giving Overdrive 5 stars because it saves me so much money that I don't have to spend on Audible. Yes there are clunky parts that can be annoying but they are worth it to have access to books on my phone, tablet and car. One of my favorite benefits is the timer that I can set before bedtime so I read myself to sleep.

I've come to the conclusion that Overdrive no longer supports my Samsung Grand Prime that I use to read on because it's an older device(Android 5). I'm SUPER disappointed because i use 2 different devices to read on almost daily and need to sync my place in books. Keep getting security error. I've done everything Overdrive suggests but can no longer log into my account on the older device. I'm not part of the "disposable" culture and can't afford to buy new devices constantly. Disappointed.

I've mostly enjoyed using overdrive. The two things I would change about it if I could are: 1. I wish it had an easy option to renew a book if that book didn't have a hold placed on it. 2. Someone else mentioned that their audiobook would start playing at a notification or a call rejected or missed and I have noticed that a time or two. As a result of my book playing now and then I noticed that I skipped almost a whole hour ahead one day. I wish there was an easier way to find your place again.

I am very satisfied with overdrive I have the sometimes be patient when I want a book but when I get it I'm just excited. They give you 14 days and I never eat 14 days cause I just read it is the fait is as fast as I can so that the book can be shared with other people. I thank you so much Ah but I am partially cited And I really need the service.
