Description
※ This app does not run independently, but runs in conjunction with financial company apps such as banks, securities, cards, and insurance.
It is a joint app for strengthening biometric authentication security of financial companies and biometric authentication compatibility between financial companies.
Financial companies can prevent fraudulent use by others other than customers when biometric authentication is performed using the biometric authentication joint app, enhancing transaction safety. In addition, if a customer registers biometric authentication only once with a financial company, customer convenience is improved by enabling biometric authentication of all financial companies using the joint app without the inconvenience of duplicate registration by using the inter-financial compatibility function of the joint app.
When a customer completes the biometric authentication registration in the financial company's financial app, the biometric authentication joint app does not require additional information registration, and the biometric authentication automatically runs without the need for the customer to run the joint app separately.
■ App access permission information
In accordance with Article 22-2 (Consent to access rights) of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Only Use and Information Protection, the biometric authentication joint app guides you through the access rights necessary to provide biometric authentication services as follows.
[Information on optional access rights]
- Phone: Required to identify mobile phone status and device information.
- Camera: Required for palm print authentication.
-Storage space: Required for storing encrypted (long text) information.
※ Even if you do not agree to the optional access right, you can use all services other than the service that requires the function.
※ Access rights can be changed in the "Settings> Applications> Biometric authentication joint app> Permissions" menu.
※ If the Android operating system version is less than 6.0, you cannot individually control the access rights of the app. An operating system upgrade is required to control access rights.
