Share the current web page when you are in a browser to open with another app! Did it ever happen to you? You click a link (let's say a video link) and the system does not ask you anything and opens the link in the browser. And you are stuck in a web page instead of watching the video in the native app. There are 2 options for you. You either watch the video in the web or you remember the name of the video and search it in the app. Well, not anymore. With OpenLinkWith, you can share any webpage with it and it will ask you which applications to open the link with. Although the original intent of the application is to direct web pages to apps, it can even be used to switch between apps. Imagine you have 2 Twitter clients in your phone. You can open a tweet in the official Twitter application and then switch to an another app with the same tweet opened. Cool, hah? Although the problem discovered above is not huge, it is missing in the Android ecosystem. And I couldn't find anything doing this. So I wrote one. :) If you find yourself sharing the same url over and over, you can use "Add to Home Screen" feature to add your favorite link from your favorite app to your home screen. Open Link With... is a "must have" app on all my phones. I've used it from my first phone running 2.33 and now on my A50 running 11. I have always used the advanced and experimental features with no problems. Open Link With... saves me time, headache and all around lets me use my phones the way I want to. Thank you Said.

Thank god (and the developer :) that someone finally made an app that does this specific function. Previously if I would get stuck in a browser, I'd have to share the link to an email, then select the link in the email to be prompted to open it in the actual app (most frequently, youtube). I still need to share but it's now a 2 or 3 step process rather than 9 or 10!

how difficult would it be to let the user enter (as in, type. with the keyboard. not just reading the clipboard) a URL to open? it's a glaring design oversight. will gladly revise my rating if that "issue" is fixed.

Sometimes it just doesn't help at all, or it ain't show up in the "open with" or "share to" panel. But better with this app than without...

Using app since some time. However in android 11 add to home screen button does not work when using nova launcher. Added shortcut disappears on placing on homescreen.

Excellent app, it does exactly what it promises. There's only one minor issue, if possible I'd like to disable the toast notification that appears every time I open a link.

I admit it took me a while to figure out how it works, the first time I gave up since I didn't dare to use the experimental features. But months later luckily I decided to install it again to give it another chance. I tried the setting as browser experimental option and then I saw just WOW - WORKS LIKE CHARM - SO EXTREMELY USEFUL WILL NEVER BE WITHOUT IT AGAIN !

great way to make Amazon links open in the Amazon shopping app. for some reason it (Amazon or chrome i dunno) doesn't respond to my preferences, and hasn't for a long time. this app is a time and hair pulling frustration killer! so now, when somebody sends me a link to look at, it still opens in chrome but just a couple taps and is open in the correct app. well done!

Earlier post: (when tapping on a fb link received via whatsapp, it is showing options of different browsers but not showing the fb app among those options.) New comments: 5 star for quick response and reply. I am not sure why my fb app is not showing as a browser. Did everything you said, also checked every option in my fb app, but nothing is happening. Then I have installed fb lite app, and now the lite app is coming in options while opening a fb link from WhatsApp. don't know what happened.
