Description
The NTC Control application is intended for operational diagnostics and basic configuration of GLONASS trackers SIGNAL, SMART and START.
It allows you to connect to devices and work with them, being both in close proximity and at a considerable distance from them.
The app supports devices:
S-20xx
S-24xx
S-26xx
S-45xx
S-46xx
Possibilities:
- display of current telemetry;
- unloading a TMI file (data from a black box) from the device;
- setting up a basic set of parameters for monitoring an object;
- time synchronization;
- updating the firmware of the device;
- sending standard and custom commands to the device.
How can I connect to the tracker?
- via USB interface;
- via Bluetooth;
- via the Internet (using the RCS service).
Permissions that the application can request:
- "Your location" is a required permission, without it the application will not function correctly. Access is needed to ensure work with the Bluetooth module of your smartphone; without it, working with devices via Bluetooth will be impossible.
- "Memory" is a mandatory permission, without it the application will not function correctly. Access is needed to save firmware files, configurations, tmi files, as well as application settings to the smartphone.
- "Contacts" is an optional feature, you don't have to grant permission. Access to the list of contacts provides an additional function of displaying your notebook when connected to the device via the "Internet" channel.
General recommendations:
- if your application does not "see" devices via Bluetooth (but devices are visible in the Bluetooth settings of the phone itself), then check that you have granted the application permission to determine your location, and also enabled the location function in the smartphone settings.
Application debug logs are written to the internal memory of the smartphone in the application folder:
../Android/data/ru.navtelecom.ntc.control/files/
To send logs to technical support:
On the main screen, go to "Settings", select "Log files" and specify which files to send (better all :) ).
