I love everything about it except that it crashes when I connect my Bluetooth device

Haven't used it yet but the UI is 1000x better than the npr news app.

Great content and I'm a donor but the app is not user friendly with Samsung Galaxy 20. The podcasts I follow don't show on the top and I have to look for them. When I leave the podcast, it's hard to come back to it and it doesn't remember where I stopped. It starts from the beginning. The back button takes you 15 sec back but no similar forward button to skip over ads. When the downloaded podcast finishes, the app doesn't automatically go to the next downloaded episode.

The app is better than the previous version, but I think forces prioritization of current NPR news content over whatever the user was last listening to. Just this morning, I paused a podcast to go do some other things, and when I returned to resume the app skips to the hourly news. It's pretty annoying, and borderline makes the app useless for podcasts. Plus, the "Listen All" feature for podcasts doesn't consistently play podcasts in ascending chronological order.

Great content but they made a lot of changes in the UI which made the app NOT driving friendly - 1) Autolaunch restarts with today's news instead of continuing the program you were listening to. You have to look into Recently Heard to get back to your program and the program restarts from the beginning instead of where you left off. 2) Downloaded Listen Later no longer plays in a series. Instead, it plays the first then goes into the news - never returns to my Listen Later list.

Major bugs to fix: -Thinks I live in DC. Lost location detection. Closing; close, force stop; & uninstall-reinstall didn't fix. Uninstall-resintal fixed for one day, then it switched back from Miami to DC. -Cant change location w/o sign-in. -Followed shows list is constantly wrong & ever-changing. -Recent playback issues. Add please: -Forward skip button . -Faster play would be great.
Corey Stradling
Great idea, horrible execution. While it curates content, it's probably the worse podcast player I've ever had the misfortune of using. Constantly skips to the next item with no way to return to where you were. Constant issues across platforms. It's the app, not the device.

I love it for access to local and national NPR and affiliate content, but it keeps just... stopping. The phone didn't go to sleep. The app didn't close. The internet connection didn't drop. It just pauses itself, and sometimes even loses track of where in the segment it was, so I have to either start over or hunt for the last thing I heard.

Clunky app. I basically use it to listen to planet money. I have to look each time for my favorite show. The app needs a overhaul programmer nerds: check out the "CBC listen app" the Canadians did it better. Also for you NPR listeners there are some great shows for your ear holes like; spark, the debaters (comedians debating silly things) laugh out loud, podcast playlist, day 6, and more...

My echo has been repeating "up next, a news update from your local npr station" since last night. It will not move on to the next story. There is no news update. There's just that repeated line. There's some issue with npr one and alexa. It is SO ANNOYING. I actually need to listen to the news, not just a voice telling me news is coming like a dystopian nightmare.
