Wondering what had happened to the app?? As of a few days ago, it won't let me listen to live radio. Whenever I click live radio it takes me to NPR One stories supposedly picked just for me...uggh! I've tried clearing storage/cache and reinstalling, but it didn't work. I've been listening to NPR for years, and would like to continue to do so. Please fix, or I'll have to delete the app and goes elsewhere for my news.

Meh. This thing sends a notification "Breaking News..." click the link and go to the app, but the headline from the notification is nowhere to be found. Or, just now, I saw a notification from earlier, clicked it and the app had no material available at all. If I go there to read what ever is there, it's good. But the notifications thing is making NPR look bad. 11/10/21 When I scroll it judders. I have to look away when I scroll, which is problematic. It quickly made me nauseous.

It gives me news notifications, but they always bring up the last article I looked at, never the one the notification is about. Seems like a major flaw and one I'm done dealing with.

I mainly use the app to listen to live radio an dthen some programs that play over the weekend. My biggest problem is the battery drain while listening to live radio. While it is playing in the background the app keeps updating news stories with the same story every couple a minutes. One hour of live radio play uses 20% of my battery with only audio being bluetoothed and screen off.

The android version has been clearly behind the iOS version for years and still looks like it was designed in 2010. It's functional and NPR is a fantastic news source but the app needs to be in step with the iphone version. We don't all have iPhones. Thank you for time.

Used to love it, but lately the app has been running poorly, the radio doesn't load and NPR has been getting too deeply involved in clickbait using misleading information in stories. You're better than that NPR!

Sometimes it seems like NPR tells fake news about Republicans. I'm not a republican. However, NPR politics is very bold in the BS they talk about Republicans and their party. Sometimes they go too far.

Great news source but my God, can we please get a better layout and dark mode? Dark mode has been an option on other apps for years now. Would it kill you to not force your bright white color branding on our eyeballs? Please consider an update.

It would be extremely difficult to give this news service anything other than 5 stars. The 5 minute news caps on the hour, the tons of local stations, the constant updating of new and invigorating subjects. From Science Friday to Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me, it's a winner. Their balanced news approach is definitely a breath of fresh air compared to many networks that currently seem to skew their reporting to the left or right. Very similar to BBC, a great news app that is good for anyone.

The app has only "Top Stories." No way to search, no topics list, no preferences. Google news has more NPR content than this app.
