Reviews From google play store

Not good for reading. Scrolling through posts sometimes backed out because swipe to go back is too sensitive. Bad UI design. On one screen, swipe from left brings context menu and on others it goes back. On one screen, dit menu is in bottom right and others that's where the ad is. Bad ads. Ads are on floating in top of articles where they're distracting instead of in feed where they can be tuned out.

I love this app. Although I find if I'm reviewing a comment or post, it cuts off the bottom. So I have to go back into the comment and double check my spelling/grammar from there. But it could be my phone. Also, the order of my subs is different across platforms, it'd be nice if it was the same. And if I've previously deleted subs but delete and re-download the app, all the deleted subs back again and I have to delete them again. But I'm nitpicking, it's a great app.

Still crashing often on Android 10. Deleted my old review because I thought it was caused by a single post. It has happened several times today in various situations. I reported the crashes as well.

Obtrusive ads make app unusable. The official reddit app is horrible, but at least it keeps ads off of the post view. Edit: unfortunately i disagree, as would most people, your ads are placed above the post content and stay overlayed ontop even as you scroll

The app has been great for so long! But for the last two weeks, I can't see any posts or threads on any sub anymore... Not sure what has happened.

Even after developer advice and making the advised changes, the app still randomly resets and crashes on Huawei.

I can't find a way to sub or unsub that should be straight up and in your face, there's no banner for subreddits. That's primarily why I'm not going to use it anymore boost wins there.

Can you check your mail? And reddit is fun app runs smoothly on mobile data. Please fix your app, i love it.

Pretty great app overall. Needs the ability to select text in posts and comment replies (text from the comment you're replying to)

Tables don't work and how do I copy links? I don't feel like copying the entire post just for the link.

Have been using this app for years, whenever I have had an issue the support has responded within a couple of hours

Was an amazing app until it logged me out one day and wont let me log back in

This seems like a good app but unfortunately it doesn't support logging in with two factor authentication so the app is useless to me.

Paid to disable ads about a year ago, but now they're having ads pop-up in the middle of scrolling through comments. Looks like I'll be finding a new Reddit app.

Would be nice if I could disable 2 column view on my Tab A.

Great app, works great. I have a great time using it.

useless on tablets, only takes up 30% of screen, the rest is black.

Great for viewing picture and other 'card' based subreddits

I love the dark theme and all the options for comments.

I've used this app so much it's starting to burn in my screen......they should probably fix some of the stationary objects. edit: it's only when reading through comments which I do a lot since theres no connection on the underground subways. specifically its these icons: post, refresh, filter, and back buttons that are burning in. I've had this app for several years with different phones. this phones going on 1.5 years of use. very slight burn in only noticable on a white screen.

Hey dev! This is by far one of the most eloquent apps on playstore. I have been using the free version and I'm planning to buy the pro version. Just a quick question, I read somewhere that recently Reddit is forcing other unofficial apps to show ads even if the user has paid for it. Does this include Now for Reddit? If so, is there any other added benefit of buying the premium version? Either way, i love your app and would like to support your hard work. Peace!

nice app, like the dark mode 👌🏻 Maybe a suggestion: when going to a random subreddit, you can only view the name of the subreddit on the top, but when the name is too long, it only shows a part, and when it's also not stated in the sidebar, it's impossible to find out the name of the subreddit. Maybe add this?

Im not sure I like it so much, just everytime i get a new device this is my first install. I just have one question or complaint is that I have not found a way to backup settings yet so I can just transfer it over to a new install on a new device instead of having to go through the whole settings all over again could you add that in or am I just missing it?

Cool reader, love the look and feel, but can you give us the option to tap on the subreddit or author name and go to the profile or subreddit? We have to use a separate menu and its a bit annoying. Also gfycat and imgur links you have to tap on instead of there being a preview

My favorite reddit app overall, but freezes and glitches out every time i open a Reddit Video. I've resorted to simply never opening reddit videos because it breaks the app. I'm missing out on a lot of content because of this. That's because I have a terrible Huawei tho, so it's an isolated issue - thanks for the feedback Phyora! <3 The app could use a more attractive visual design, but overall is good and functions as intended.

Definitely the best Reddit app on Android, but.. The 'disable ads' is buggy. I had an issue a few months ago, where after an update made ads show up again, bit annoying, but reinstalling did fix it, but now I have a different issue, the ads came back, I re installed, after a bit it asked if I wanted to view personal ads, clicking either of the two options added ads back in. keep trying to reinstall and nothing changes.

This was my go to for years. Then I tried other apps and they are better in every possible way. Give the devs some credit as they are giving it a solid effort but overall the experience is lacking.

Hands down the best user interface for browsing reddit on mobile. Tried all of them but always come back to this. Would get a 5th star if there was more options to customize the design.

the problem seems to have been mostly resolved. i no longer accidentally click on banners, albeit the glitch that caused it still remains. would love "long press to save image" or some such. saving images is a serious hassle. would save image hoarders immense amounts of time. brilliant app. too bad reddit is in steady decline..

It's good, but it'd be even better if the option to enable clickable sub names on posts (as in, you click on the name and it takes you to the sub). Or maybe there is, I just couldn't find it anyways. The scrolling's kinda wack too, it feels really weird and unsmooth compared to the offical app. (There might be an option to change this, too, I was just, again, unable to find it.) Also, it should unfullscreen you whenever you press outside of the image when fullscreened.

awesome reddit app. banner ads when browsing threads but they aren't too big. hopefully this doesn't crash when scrolling down threads like Boost for reddit.

its good but im not recieving notifications, how can i fix this?

EDIT: I have been informed within an hour or so of my review that they plan to have the issue fixed by next update. I'll keep my old review up until it's fixed or in case they don't fix it but take it with a grain of salt for now. I've had this app for years and this is my first issue so yeah. By far my favorite and the best Reddit app imo. However, due to one of their recent updates, their ads have become quite intrusive. As in the ad spot moves right to where the additional options are about a second after you click a link, meaning as you go to more options, the ad moves to it and you end up clicking the ad. SUPER INTRUSIVE, abusive practice. Idk what they were thinking, it's blatantly obvious what the goal of this maneuver was. If they don't fix it soon I gotta uninstall and would never recommend this app to anyone, which is really unfortunate because I absolutely love this app aside from their malicious ad practices.

I really like this app, it's literally been my only way I've accessed reddit for 3 years. I have decided to change my review to mention the overuse of loading spinners. Theres loading spinners almost everything and they grab my attention instead of the content. Further more, often I'm spending up to 5 seconds per post in my feeds waiting for loading spinners to disappear, doesn't sound like much until you realize it happens hundreds of times a day. Look at how YouTube does it. Far superior.

A recent update has caused some major issues which I've seen reflected in several other reviews. Pictures will not load full screen, but will if I click on comments. Then, comments won't load unless I disconnect then reconnect to wifi, even after clearing caches and reinstalling the app. Sent you guys an email, waiting on response.

This is no longer loading posts. It started yesterday and continues this morning. I have version 5.8.2 on a pixel 2XL. It continues to give unable to load Reddit may be down or filters may be blocking. I have a good internet connection, rebooted the phone and reinstalled the app with no help... Bummer

The app has been great up until a couple of days ago. It's now compressing picture submissions making them under 1000x1000 resolution. Other than that, this app is an amazing alternative to the official app!

Not recommended / Cannot Tag users / UI is confusing and difficult to use

Great app but after an update I can no longer post comments. I tired logging off and back in but didnt help. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didnt help. Changing the rating from 3 down to two Star. just found out not only can't I leave/reply comments but now I can't down/up vote post. I haven't been banned or block from and subs. Please fix this used to be a five star app.

alerted the development team to a bug and they jumped right on it. It is rare that you get this response time from the devs in mobile apps. i also love the UI and reccomend it as the app to go with for reddit. i have been using it for years and still use it!

This is a fantastic app that is my preferred way to view Reddit. My only complaint is that there is no way to setting to mute Gfycat gifs, and no icon indicating a gif will include ear-splitting sound.

Way better than the official app. However, I can't figure out how to moderate subs, if that's even possible in this app.

The only problem with this app is that you scroll down through a few posts decide you want to read some comments or what not then you press the back button and you go back to scrolling down through all the same posts once again.

Ads are much larger now, taking up a 5th of the screen when in landscape mode. Pretty lame. Rest of the app works wonderfully but the large ad is not worth the trouble.

Best Reddit app I've used, greatly recommended to everyone! However the recent update made ads twice as tall making them cover a good portion of the screen when they used to be unobtrusive.

This is a 5 star app that I am giving 2 stars due to recent updates. If I leave the app and return, it refreshes and brings me to the homepage instead of the thread I left off on. Will adjust when fixed. Also am a supporting customer

This app is freezing a ton, lately. Sometimes will not load at all when I open it. edit: now that i reinstalled it, it says 5.8.4 thanks for the quick feedback. appreciate it.

great app, been using for a long time, but on my new tablet only half the screen is being used, not sure why. But still better than the main reddit app.

Everything is good except you can't view downloaded video clips from the app. The videos seem to be corrupt/unplayable. Please advise.

Needs the ability to swipe through front-page articles, then I would consider paying for the ad-free version.

There are annoying animated ads in the free version, so if you like this app, probably just go straight to premium.

Easy to use and best experience to read!

Thanks for letting me know how to fix the app - logging out and logging back in helped clear up the issue. Still loving the app!

you guys need to add the ability to long press a link to open in a browser. too many link won't open in the app.

Doesn't work well on OnePlus 5T. Comments don't load 50% of the time and the app gets a lot of the times stuck at the refresh symbol

Latest update made this app terrible. Ads are triple the size. using an adblocker also stops all content being shown. I was fine with the small ads...

fav Reddit app. far more intuitive than others

It's great but I really don't like the design. Personal opinion.

Update made ads twice as tall. There are better apps that are less intrusive. It was a solid app until now.

Switched over to this after the Boost app started running slowly. NfR is working great for me so far.

great interface. easy to use. better than the official app. love the dark theme option

it got really buggy. i can't scroll for more then a few minutes without it crashing and re starting my feed from the start

I can't open links to other websites. It just keeps loading.

great app, easy to use. I put it on all of my Android devices

i would like of reddit links could open this instead of normal reddit, but i doesnt show up in the open by default menu, is there a way to fix this?

sorry for the long overdue update. after the last update everything is great again. thanks devs.

Pretty good but the ads are terrible.

Best app for Reddit on Android hands down, look no further. Forget about Reddit's app, this is a significant improvement with many more features.

it is nice... has a better organized layout

very happy with this app..i have used it for years and i xabt imagine different

Love this app, best way to browse reddit. Worth every penny.

Searching for subs or posts is pretty inconvenient

Decent app with a fair selection of features. Prefer it over regular reddit apps I guess

Wish full cards view would go edge to edge width wise

Worst Reddit app of all-time. Guests can't remove subreddit feeds. I thought about logging in, but no... It's a piece of garbage.

best reddit app so far by miles, dark mode is so good! multi reddit support, multi account support!

Crashing frequently at the moment

It's alright, pretty simple and light

Dev could you please add timed filters? I would like to hide NSFW posts during business hours only. Thanks

has begun crashing a lot as of late

could do with better memory management, one touch on the home button my mistake and you end up back at the front page.

i like this app because you can blacklist certain subreddits. I can filter out politics and just get funny memes and rare puppers

Very good compared to others.

Fantastic Reddit portal, far more useful than the official app!

Good response from the app team. To bad reddit likes to break

Better than the official Reddit app.

Much better than the official app.

I subscribe to other subreddits and they don't show up.

Have not found better.

got ads *sigh*

Better than the official app

excellent app,m

best reddit client around. great devs too

I like the ui better than others I have used

Used this app for years, can't imagine reddit without it

Reddit is for cucks and pretty much everyone on it is either a woman, a gay, a jew, or bored and has already scrolled through FB and IG

much better than the garbage official app

Reddit is all i need for internet

sweet as dawg

Best Reddit reader around
