Was great on my Note 8 running Android 9 but the app does not work on the "settings" of my Note 20 Ultra running Android 11. Issue was reported on Norton forum 1.5 years ago and still no resolution. I discovered the "Activate Administrator" option and thought that would be the solution for the app not working on securing the "Settings" (preventing someone from uninstalling the app and accessing sensitive info). It doesn't work either, could still uninstall app after lock activated.

This is a great app lock tool! The only reason I'm not going to give it 5 stars is because I had a weird experience a moment ago when an app I have locked asked for the unlock code upon exiting the app!!! The app required a code to open it, but as required one to exit it!!! That's only happened to me once, but it was strange nonetheless!!!

I thought that this app was better then the rest i have tried.... Loved it in fact then i shut my phone off and when I turned it back ok all my apps were open to access. Why do I have to reactivate an APP LOCK? Defeats the purpose of if I have to do is turn off the phone to by pass the app used for security. Anyone know of app that works? I'll gladly pay for it....

cannot lock google family link so that kids cannot access; still looking for the ability to lock app between sessions on my LG stylus!; uninstalling again; ETA: it had device admin Active and is uninstalling from playstore! ETA as of 4/20/19: The "lock recent apps lists" for my LG Stylo does not keep the act locked when not in use. I installed, it did not work, reinstalled, nothing. After realizing, that it simply locks my "clear all" recent apps list, which once unlocked, remains, I'm out!

When opening locked app, allows a very long glimpse before app lock screen appears. If you want a longer look, just use the task switch button for a nice long uninterrupted look! 50% of the time, opening app, lock screen will delay on pattern just long enough that I'll start to enter the pattern, then the fingerprint screen will interrupt. The other 50% of the time I'll remember to wait, and then the fingerprint screen never pops up and I have to use the pattern.

App is rather easy to use & basically explains itself along the way. I will say, there is a big difference between what all is covered when you pay for your Google App Store Norton; as compared to any Norton purchased through Norton directly, like online site or some other way... Also mine, friends and family I've asked, could agree that these credentials from here, aren't 100% workable on Norton's ACTUAL WEBPAGES! Any account info created through Norton in Google app store, is for mine ALONE!!

I love this app, it's very easy to use and in my opinion is extremely functional. The only issue I've had with it over the course of a few years is that it will randomly lock Facebook even though I have it set not to. Other than that, which is a mild inconvenience, I've yet to experience any other problems

I wish this app lock did not have a delay when locking photos and messages. It really fals short in this regard. I've found one other app lock that totally hides and locks the app. Hopefully you guys can fix this in the very near future because I really would like to stick with the Norton brand.

Update 06/2021: It would seem the app has been fixed, or at least much better. I have not experienced the same issue as noted below. Let's cross our fingers. It's a great app if it's fixed. Update: Still no fixes or updates from the developer. Notice the last update was almost a year ago. Initial: Very effective, but needs fixes. After about a week of use, the app can no longer keep ahead of processes opening locked apps, and the locked app opens first, then Norton. Have to reboot to fix.

I rarely rate anything but the new nag screen that pops up to say that I can use the fingerprint scanner instead of a pattern to unlock the app, is so annoying that I decided to warn people that haven't upgraded yet. Don't upgrade. After the first time, I got the message but there's no way to stop it from appearing each time. Looking for a different app lock now.
