I really love this dictionary and the Biblical references. Thanks so much for adding an X to the search bar to make it easier to delete words before a new search. AND I love that I can copy the definitions but I wish I would be allowed to only copy a portion of a definition. . And I hope that sometime you will add an option to allow us to report an occasional typo! Thanks for making it available to us. I use it often.

At my church they only use the King James version. But when I'm at home I use my other translations. This is good to see what certain words meant. And a lot of people are coming down on it because doesn't have all the words of the Bible. However if they want that they need a strong concordance or something similar. But this is just to give definitions.

1 of my All time favorite resources!!! more satisfying than flipping pages and loosing bookshelf space.. A shame really we don't communicate with such vocabulary. And an injustice to our western hemisphere way of living how our words have been revisioned or other meanings ommited with no explanation and only noticed thanks to a thorough book synonyms...ijs

An offline, free app without permissions? Amazing! That's certainly keeping in spirit with Noah Webster who freely blessed America with its first comprehensive dictionary. My only request: allow only portions of a definition to be copied through the default Android method of press, hold, drag, select, copy highlighting.
The Technician
I have an original hardbound version, and it's like night and day, the amount of definitions that are missing. I thought the app would be convenient, but it's sorely lacking, compared to the hardcover edition.

The Nosh Webster's Dictionary should be in every home. The definitions are clear and complete. I like that Mr. Webster also used scripture where it applies. Thats a very holistic approach to the English language.

The first word i looked up, plat, only had part of the definition that the printed version has. It had the verb form meaning to weave but not the noun form meaning a small flat piece of land as used in the KJV in 2 Kings 9:26.
