Nevolution is an open platform for Android to evolve the notification experience of existing apps, in a creative developer-independent way via community-driven plug-ins, without the involvement of the original app developer. Android supports highly rich notification experience, and the feature set expanded in almost every major Android versions. Unfortunately, most apps only use a small set of limited capabilities of notification, rendering them less elegant and even ugly on your modern Android devices. If you use an Android Wear smart watch or Android Auto powered car, it's extremely disappointed that probably most of your favorite apps do not work on them. A solution is being worked on. * Before Android 6.0, due to platform limitation, the status-bar icon of the some notifications can not be kept if they are evolved. * Evolved notifications are not automatically removed by the originating app (e.g. when app is opened). A possible solution is being evaluated. ------ Built-in plug-ins: (all open sourced on GitHub) *Multi-line Text*: Expand truncated text into multi-lines. *Stack*: Stack recent historical messages as a list. No Nevolution app icon for launcher. Need to go to Play Store, search for Nevolution, and launch it from there. Once I added rules for a couple of apps, I couldn't figure out any way to add more. It's got potential, but the unconventional app interface really isn't working. The number of reviews complaining about no launcher icon proves that. PLEASE, go to a standard launched-app interface containing a list of monitored apps.

No user interface so you have to use the notifications to configure. Confusing tutorial. Causes systemui to crash frequently. Doesn't integrate well at all with Greenify anymore

Got "System UI stopped working" when tapping recent apps. Mising GUI (other than heads-up notifications, which is inefficient)

Hoped for a cleaner way to manage notifications. It does say that "Nevolution is ready", but there's no way to force it to enhance my notifications or at least show them in a separate frame, nothing, notifications remain unchanged even when I add all apps from its internal lists. It doesn't check whether or not the apps are already added, so I can add them again & again. Neither reinstalling this nor installing the "extension" app changed anything. It's unfinished & not user-friendly.

Installed cause greenify said to. But disappointed that notification support for only one app at a time is possible. I use mail, messages, telegram & WhatsApp so I want notification from all these apps to be preserved when these apps are auto-hibernated by greenify. Sadly I can choose only messages or mail but not both. There's no option for messengers like WhatsApp & telegram.

Very cool and useful app that shows off the notification area's features that are rarely taken advantage of. Just drag its individual notifications down to expand them and tap to toggle settings. Dismiss when done and it's all set up.

Cool! No need to open app. Work directly from notification bar, expand to select options.. Swipe to close. Didn't know what was happening at first but managed to figure out eventually.

Bug report: on Android 10, WeChat notifications will always make a sound even the phone is set in do not disturb mode. Turn off Nevolution's override do not disturb in settings does not solve the issue. Enabling direct reply in WeChat is brilliant!

I'm unsure what use this app is, on every version of modern day Android I've used (since v4), my notifications have functioned exactly as this "enhancement" claims to achieve. I've been able to "stretch" notifications for years and, by tweaking only system settings, everything else is achievable as well. I wish they'd stop finding distractions from improving Greenify, it's been almost 2 years since its last update & it sorely needs one (the few features not locked behind a ridiculous ADB-wall).
