About this APK

NDR Radio is an app by NDR in the Music & Audio category, listed since at least April 2021. It includes native code for x86 32-bit, x86 64-bit, ARM 32-bit and ARM 64-bit, so it runs on practically every phone.

Since version 2.6.0, the APK grew from 15.1 MB to 19 MB and the minimum Android version rose from 5.1 to 7.0. It asks for 21 permissions, 9 of them sensitive, including camera, record audio and read media images. Compared with version 2.6.0, it adds 12 new permissions (“Bluetooth connect”, “Bluetooth scan”, “Camera” and 9 more) and drops 9 (“Approximate location”, “Precise location”, “View Wi-Fi connections” and 6 more).

The NDR radio programs from a single source: live streams, podcasts, news, weather and traffic. With the NDR Radio App you can listen to the following programs: - NDR 2 - N-JOY - NDR culture - NDR info - NDR 1 Lower Saxony - NDR 1 Welle Nord - NDR 1 Radio MV - NDR 90.3 and the exclusive digital programs: - NDR hits - NDR info special - NDR Blue The most important functions of the NDR Radio App at a glance: - Title displays and program information: In the dynamic player display of the NDR Radio App, the moderators, studio guests and the CD cover with title information are always displayed in line with the program. - Program information and title search: Details of the program are displayed under the "Program" button and all songs played under the "Title list" button. - News: One click on the "News" button and the current news edition will be played. Always know what is happening in the world via the "news" in the menu. Here you can read and listen to the NDR Info News. - Traffic reports: You can find out about the current traffic situation in Northern Germany via "Traffic" in the menu. - Report a traffic jam: The button "I'm in a traffic jam" in the traffic report overview enables you to report a traffic jam to the NDR traffic studio yourself. - Podcast and Audiothek: All podcasts of the NDR radio programs can be reached in the menu under "Podcasts" and the corresponding offer of the ARD radio programs under the link "ARD Audiothek". - Regional information: The desired regional characteristics can be selected in the settings in order to get the appropriate weather report etc. for the program. Is there a version of NDR Radio for older Android phones?

Can I install this APK over the version I already have?
