Reviews From google play store

Love this app but I've got an issue that's rather annoying. Can't click on certain pop-up elements like when a website in my browser requests my location. Have to either tap the back arrow and ignore the request or go into settings and turn appear on top off for this app then turn it back on after allowing the action in the other app.

When it forces my navbar to be black, the buttons on it are barely visible. It shows a very thin outline of where the buttons are, but I can only barely see them. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

EDIT: It now works with the 1440p display setting on the S10+. Works and looks great, but doesnt work properly with higher resolution display on Samsung S10+

Trying to set a static colour for all apps in my OnePlus 7. But turns out it can't be done. Only works with a pretty dark image so I'm keeping it for now, But I'm not sure for how long.

If I enable this, I am unable to click on the website permission dialog for chrome browser. Please note that I am not talking about system permission, I am talking about the permission which websites request to chrome. Even if I disable it for the chrome app, it doesn't work, in order for me make it work I have to disable accessibility for this app.

Was cool until it stopped working with OS9 on V30. Mainly used it for the audio levels feature for my back but now it stops working when I lock my phone and the app is closed.

I am really digging this customization app! I love that I can make some apps have a static color navbar, while all the others are dynamic! Using on a Note 9 running Oreo.

It works great except for Amazon Music, which is annoying

The app is really amazing its well made but the music widget is not accurate enough and I suggest to give more options and an adjustable fps of the widget

The funktion is good but when i opened the app i accidentally dubble clicked and a payment whas done thats non refundable

The colour changes back to the default after you switch in and out any app

Small price to pay for customization

Crappy customization overlays in app dont work

I'm Absolutely in love with this app....THANK YOU n keep up the great job! 😄😄

Works great on my lg v20

Its unfortunate as I used to really love this app but since Android 10's release on the Pixel this app no longer works properly. For example with Chrome running Navbar Apps now blocks the permission request boxes for services as such a location and notifications from being clickable.

This app is about the only way unrooted to make Samsung navbars black. However it has been requesting to use my microphone frequently... This app shouldn't need my mic. Stop asking for it. Also it doesn't even work consistently depending on the apps or is glitchy.

Sort of works. Doesn't seem to maintain static color everywhere. Also cannot adjust the icon colors so they are really difficult to see when you use dark colors. Good concept but just missing a lot.

Works pretty decent, although a lot of the apps I've just gone through and set colors manually since they didn't really match the app very well. I think an option to select multiple apps at a time when setting a color would be nice, that way you wouldn't have to keep opening the list back up and scrolling to find the next app. Also something like a "color finder", where you could tap on a specific area on the screen and have it load the color of said area

Still Bugged, samsung a70, it makes my home menu blue, was fine till i restarted my phone, Needs updated Would be great to have option/list where you can color some apps (only the ones you want to color), instead of the current everything colored then doing exceptions

I really like this app and everything it does. Only issue is that when I use the Recents function it loses the color. Edit: I found that by using usage data as the detection method it works properly. Thank you!!

Loved this app to death, but it doesn't seem to work well with Android 10. Disabling it for now, but seriously looking forward to an update so I can use it again.

Great app, but recently it's taken a steep dive downhill, and not working when I tab over to a new app, and also has been causing strange flickering when I tab over to Snapchat or try to open an image on Discord. I know it's this causing it, because I uninstalled the app and it immediately stopped - took me a factory reset and losing some data to figure it out, though. Very frustrated as it makes two of my most used apps practically un-useable.

Im a recent purchaser of a note10+ and having crazy issues with the lack of settings and customization for the navigation bar and was hoping this app would solve those issues for me ! And it did and I was thrilled until I noticed it does not work in landscape mode as it leaves a slightly uncovered portion of the navigation bar visable if this can be corrected I will redownload and 5 star the app !

hello there, i have used this app in so many phones, great work. but now when i use this app, on the home screen in phone, the color of the navigation bar is colorerd insted of remaining transparant. it makes the look of my homescreen weird and un interesting. please fix it. im using Samsung A50. also the music widget is deactivated on its own after some time.

It will be better if u can give us a choice to select per app change instead of auto changing all app color and then change app color one by one. For example, I just want to change Instagram navigation bar into black only. Other apps remains default.

Android Pi and Google Assistant have screwed up Xperia XZ1...the nav bar goes black to white constantly and is used as a white overlay for all apps ... this app gets rid of the white bars and makes it feel like a sony product again...the colour match for apps is so much fun makes you want to swap apps just to see what colour it is!! a great help and good fun!!

when using the swipe-based navbar, tapping on the navbar will remove colour in the app if you have app detection settings set to the accessibility service, using usage data solves this. downloading the keyboard detection apk made the navbar coloured constantly, and i couldnt find a way for it to stop being coloured always. it has some customization options, and you can even make the status bar a different colour, which surprised me. pretty good app, other than that one glitch with the swipe bar.

Please add a disable all apps by default option so only the apps I manually add change the navbar colour, I have to manually go through most of my apps and disable them from changing colour. Thanks for your hard work, great app!

Huawei keeps showing this constant notification bout running in the background and becuz of that I am unable to use it otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. If u no a solution, plz let me know. (honor device)

Isn't perfect, but I absolutely love it, it's a simple app, with loads of customizations.

Great idea but doesn't work most of the time. Often stops when exiting apps. I'll keep it installed for now and hope for an update to fix app. Issues may be related to my phone model (Sony Xperia 1) or Pie OS. Not sure.

Don't install it. The app has problems, but the dev never replies or listens to any of the reports. I think this product is just abandoned. Zero support here.

Absolutely love this app. The overlay is great and the music bar and emoji's are so cute. My grandbabies love it. Thank you.

monitoring apps keeps disabling itself, despite being enabled in accessibility. i keep having to disable then re-enable it again. This has been happening for some time now, can you please fix this issue? Thanks

Cool app with a polished interface. It (or my phone) has trouble "remembering" its accessibility permission, so I constantly have to re-enable it. Enabling "usage data" seems fine for now. Please add feature to map long key presses on the nav buttons!

S8 user here, app is great but something is very very annoying. I set up my navbar and status bar to be plain black, but in 90% apps status bar is black but also hides ALL ICONS. PLEASE FIX

Hy your plugin for keyboard detection is it save cant you offer it via playstore and get rid of warnings from security programs? Y love your app but this bit worry me.

This is perfect to establish a very minimalistic battery level linebar (your choice of colours!) at the absolute bottom of your screen... and then just ignore all of the other stuff!

Colored navbar persist when returning to the homescreen every time. I have to open an app that I've excluded from Navbar Apps, then go back home in order to clear out the colored navbar. Android Pie, Pixel 2 XL. My above issue still happens. Any plans to fix that?

badly needs button brightness options. when this is in use i cant see the buttons. they are too dark. colored, black or white background and the buttons are so dark they can hardly be seen.

It was awesome when I was using Android 5 phone, but now I have new one with Android 8, and it looks just bad ;-; But still 5 stars because of this is still awesome app, and I recommend it to everyone with compatible devices.

Exceptionally well made app! I rarely give 5 stars to anything, but this app more than deserves it! I have 2 questions: 1. Can the color of the "button" writing itself be changed? There are apps where you end up with a black navigation bar with black writing. 2. Is there a way to find what app is running at a certain moment and thus add a custom color for it, instead of selecting from a list of all apps? Im asking this because on the Note 9 whenever i unlock the screen, the navigation and notification bars both turn green for some reason, and i can't for the life of me figure out what's causing that. If i enter any app and then go back to the home screen, it goes back to normal. (transparent)

The hide navbar feature is just what my pixel 3 needed. Otherwise some apps have a chunky black bar at the bottom which cuts off a good portion of the bottom of the screen. It was bothering me so much I think I would have sent it back if not for this app. One minor tweak, is there a way to change the colour of the space below keyboard when it is in use and the nav bar is hidden? Also, if you use the hide navbar feature like I do, the "squeeze for Google assistant" on pixel 3 is disabled. If the nav bar is displayed, the colour doesn't remain when switching apps, or if you happen to tap in the space on the right of the pill.

Pretty good. I would be happy always having just a black bar with white arrows. This app works sometimes with that, and I've also allowed it to choose color by app. I prefer the black on my launcher. I use Nova and when you go into Nova settings, along with some other apps, the navigation keys cannot be seen. They need to turn white and don't. They still work, just disappear.

Good but still not there... the app is more or less buggy, the fact that it's been here long enough should have pin point all the basic bugs it has. 1. whenever you tap the home key, the app turns off 2. whenever an app is display over other apps, much like this app, it also turns off 3. whenever you do anything multi tasking, split-screen, it turns off that's just a few of the things i noticed after intalling it within 10minutes. I found no fix for these things. you might wanna look into that

I love being able to change my nav bar color and I love this app. Recently though, it seems to be causing my phone to lag. I've always noticed this app causes my phone to lag a little but recently the lag is significant. Enough to the point where the lag became too much for me so I had to uninstall Navbar Apps. Please look into this.

The app works fine, but there are a few things that don't work as expected. On android pie, when switching between apps, the colored Navbar reverts to white. Another issue is that when I view a PDF document in landscape mode, the color of the navbar splits into a zombified navbar, half colored and half not. I am using a OnePlus 5T on android pie with the native android pie gestures enabled.

Great app. I have been using it for awhile and decided it was most definitely woth $.99. Probably would have payed more for it. It will automatically change color based on the app on use which is a nice touch. Not every app seems to work with it, BUT, you can manually set a color for specific apps so you can have the color you want. Worth it, and I wish I dropped the buck for it sooner.

It used to be great but it's fairly inconsistent now if you allow the navbar to be transparent on the homescreen. Also this app is abandoned by the dev. Like, at least leave the app in a functional state

This application is great. My co-worker showed me what this what and what it was capable of and it has allowed to sjow my weebness even further to those around me. But one thing holdijg me back from goving it 5 stars is the fact that landscape rotated images are cut off on one side. At least for me, who's using the S9. If you could somehow fix this, would be greatly appreciated. I bought the pro version - you've got a great thing going on here.

it's a cool app, however nothing effects the homescreen. i wanted to black out the back, home, and app window buttons on the homescreen but it only will let me black out the nav bar in apps.

Completely unnecessary but nice to have! The app is well designed and is a good idea, however there are a few bugs, the colour pickers don't work, I have to enter the hex values to change the colour, & sometimes the navbar will be coloured on the launcher despite settings. 1 feature I would have liked is the option to colour the status bar in certain apps independent of the navbar. Thanks

Been using this app for over a year now and its been great at preventing my amoled screen to get burn in on the nav bar. HOWEVER, this past couple of days it starter draining my battery randomly and always appear near the top of the apps that drain my battery. What it does is it keeps my phone awake almost all the time and has a high cpu usage. Basically my phone rarely goes to sleep because of this. I average around 24 hours per charge with this app running in the background for around 5-6 hours on average which is a HUGE. I hope this gets fixed asap. I"m on android 8.1 on the asus zenfone max pro m1.

I believe this app works counter intuitively when you want it to color by Active App and just want to change a few apps. I only need it to change three apps but to do so I have to add exceptions for EVERY OTHER APP! Also a negative surprise that I cannot color the navigation images or make navbar completely transparent. I have now donated for this app but I will uninstall it.

Used to be amazing but now only ever shows up as an orange colour and the colour bar covers the top of my keyboard. My phone is an XZ premium running 8.0.0 it's a shame as this app ran so well and they updated it around August 2018 and it's been completely broken since. I try all the permission and Keyboard setting in the app but still just as broken.

Hey Damian! I really like and enjoy your app. This is my favorite one. But, I use it only for some apps like Spotify, Whatsapp, etc. It was really tedious to add all the apps I didn't want the Navbar to detect. It would be really good to add an option to color only the apps you want, wouldn't it be?

Can change navbar background color but not button. Also when Samsung game bar is active it can't change color.

It's a great app, I just wish you could edit the navbar color/settings for the app you're in and not have to leave the app to do so (status bar beta has implemented this nicely). Another cool feature would be that the navbar icon colors would be adaptive (let's say your icons default color is white but you want your navbar to be white, it would automatically change to black so you could see the icons again). It would also be cool if you could collaborate with the maker of the Status bar app so you could sync navbar and status bar colors together. (Also sometimes when I go to the homescreen it won't become transparent for some reason.)

had to uninstall because of a weird annoying glitch (i guess) i encountered on my LG G6, that happens when navbar is running. when i swipe to unlock my phone, if and only if i am using a third party app wallpaper, the image dissappears for a while while I'm typing my password. it really is just aesthetic, but isn't that the whole deal of this app? great app though, but if you make me choose between muzei or navbars, i don't even have to think it twice.

Great at personalizing the Navigation bar, my big issue is I had never been successful importing color settings at all, no issues with exporting but I have to do the colors over and over again for each app if i have a new device, it keep saying unrecognize file everytime I import the exported settings file from my previous device.

WHY DOESN'T ANDROID SYSTEM HAVE THIS FEATURE BUILT-IN ? IT IS NOT EVEN IN ACCESSIBILITY ! Thank you Damian Piwowarski ♥ ! Though my device keeps turning off the app (wish I could find out in Android it is doing that) - causing me to keep Navbar Apps running in the "recent apps" or it shuts down immediately. The app still shuts down when I reboot. At least, the app functions well & with a dark theme I'm not dealing with glare while viewing most apps (I'm on Android 8).

Works most of the time, but no apparent split screen support. If you're using a more modern version of Android, the app doesn't seem to be able to apply color to the navbar during splitscreen, rendering the app useless for this purpose. Would otherwise be 5-worthy.

Only works some of the time on some apps. I set it to be transparent but it still shows up bright white on dark apps frequently.

In my case... I wanna use this app just for a few apps, which is meaning I have to add other all apps and select the option "DISABLE COLORING FOR THIS APP", what a pain...

Awesome app! Looks like the developer hasn't been working on it for a while. A shame to let it go to waste.

Using the option to put emojis on the nav bar. After a few months of using this app, my galaxy s9+ now have screen burn of the emojis and I can't get rid of the screen burn. Don't get me wrong, this is a great app and i still use it for other functions, but just thought i raise the alarm that if you use emojis on nav bar you may have the same screen burn.

This app is very nice for customizing navigation bar. I loved the variety of options that this app provides, that suits different likings. Hats off to the developer. I would like to make few suggestions to the developer. 1) There should be an option for the navigation bar to set it's colours to the colour of the status bar. This is particularly useful for apps like Google Chrome, that keeps changing the colour of the status bar. 2) The above mentioned feature should be present as an option in the page where we set individual colour to individual apps 3) The colour of buttons should adapt to the navigation bar colour. For example, it should be white when the navigation bar's colour is a dark colour. It should be black when the navigation bar's colour is a light colour. This change should also reflect in the status bar contents if we enable the option to match the status bar's colour with the navigation bar's colour.

this app is great for customizing my phone, when it works. if i open an app with a keyboard prompt, sometimes it will change to the color of the app, then right to black, kind of ruining the whole point of the app. If this bug could get fixed, I'd be happy to give this app 5 stars.

No longer works on EMUI 9.1. My phone just updated, and this app no longer works correctly. The navigation bar will turn black as it's supposed to, but the icons on top of it also stay black so they can't be seen ☹️

After my Android updated to the new OS, it removed the ability to hide my navigation bar without removing the navigation bar entirely. I was upset about this, since the hidden navigation bar was literally an advertised feature of my Galaxy S8+, but this app gave me a helpful, in-depth tutorial on how to get the old navigation bar back!

Great app. But there's malware when installing this. Quite unfortunate since this is the best Navbar app feature wise.

That navbar not appear at all on my android TV 9.0, and the manufacturer not answed on the my mail. Sorry, I need it.

downloaded for my note 9 after the new update. downloaded to change my nav bar color to black. when running the Cinema app and watching movies the white nav bar became irritating to my eyes. so changing it to black should have fixed it. it did, except for the left side of the nav bar still has a small portion that remains white for some reason.

Overall great app. The only issue I have with it is that on Android P, when tapping beside the home button with the new gesture layout, the navbar loses colour and reverts back to white. Is there any way to stop this loss of colour every time I tap on the part kf the navbar with no buttons?

It's almost perfect, but because the font colour is always grey then any apps with a dark background, so blue /green of Facebook, messenger, what's app, play store then the buttons become near impossible to see. You need an adaptive font to pick either white or black font

U guys are doing a fan job. I suggest a tranparent navigation bar will be even nicer. Also, for some weird reason, the application stops working when my screen has been off for about 10 mins and it is kind of anoying having to start the app each time I put on ma screen. Am using Oreo

I love this app. I am not a fan of the white navbar that Google ships by default on my pixel 3a. I am using the black navbar and added emojis and a cool theme as well. Really minimalistic yet fun way to customize the navbar. I gladly supported the developer and payed 99 cents to upgrade to the pro version, but I love how all the features I use are all available for free. Keep up the great work.

Great app, but doesn't work properly most of the time (shows some other color on the navbar, showing other colors briefly while switching apps). Turning off battery optimization didn't do anything, I'd love to use this app but there's too many bugs for me to properly enjoy it.

Very well done! I bought the full version, because I really like it. Well done, now my android looks cool! Not about any lags and speech should not be. I advise everyone, preferably buy the full version.

Please fix when watching in fullscreen There is still a small part of white at the bottom when in landscape Fix this and get 5 stars

While a decent app, I should have really played around with it before paying 99¢ for some added features. In short, the active bar color does not work in every app, meaning some will apply the color and others will not. This is particularly disappointing.

I am a very old user, one request...Please add an option to select multiple apps in settings of Active app option and Disable Colour for an app. Its difficult to add more than 20 apps selecting each app. Please add option to add all and I can edit each one once added to the list. Adding single app at a time to list is painful, when changing phone/rom,formating as Backup/restoring of the list has never worked.

very very good! the thing is i uninstall it the reason of it taking alot of my memory sndi hate that thats why evry few munites my storage always run would be better if iirdint take alit of my memory..

Almost exactly what I want. No matter how hard I've searched through all the forums and countless substratum mods I just want my navigation bar to be transparent. Finally this app allows just that! Well's part of the hide feature. I don't want to hide my bar/icons, I want them to be transparent over all apps

Awesome app, but can you add color presets in the Custom colors setting? But i've installed a hex finder app so it's pretty good. And also can you put a black navigation buttons on white navigation bar? because the buttons are always white, even when it's a white bar.

Works great! I set it so the color of the navigation bar adapts to each app, and then customized the colors for individual apps to suit my taste. Very easy and intuitive to use.

It's the little things that really make an impact, and this app is exactly that. One problem however, As with recent updates the keyboard makes it go back to black while it's up.

This app can finally create a dark mode for Chrome by overriding the white nav and status bars, as well as set the Chrome flags enable to dark mode.

The app works most of the time for me, but whenever I unlock my phone or use the app switcher, the navbar will switch to a very bright neon green and it gets very annoying. Don't plan on rating 5 stars until this is fixed.

Causes system instability on Galaxy S9 (eg, sluggish, stuttering apps, "System UI not responding"). After removing/disabling a bunch of apps, turning this one on/off causes/removes my issues. (Running Android 9 on Verizon with Feb security patch, kernel 4.9.112)

Love it!!! Sometimes a little buggy and instead of it being transparent, it'll hold on to the color from a previous app. Other than that it's amazing!!!

Recently installed and tweaked it. PERFECT! Chrome was constantly washing out the icons. This app does not need rooting, takes up little space, and prevents Chrome from modifying the bar. I'm using this on an old HTC w Android 5.0.

Loving the app but some selfish issues of mine lol. Sometimes the color of the apps doesn't match what it shown like instagram where it is white but somehow it became yellow orange. Other than that love the app no issues, running great.

The app doesn't work consistently. Half of the time it would work and the nav bar would display the shade of green I selected. The rest of the time the nav bar color would revert to white, the system default.

Truly amazing. Works wonderfully. It instantly changes colors and you even have a costum button that goes in the bar with the wifi etc to turn the app on and off. I don't know how you guys did that but its amazing, WOW

The option of having a hide button on the nav bar would be a nice feature or an auto hide time.

Overall love this app, as I use a dark theme on most apps. Hovever certain apps like Firefox insist on displaying a white navbar. Any idea why this might be? I've tried everything I can think of...

I could do without the animated color changes when opening apps. The deal breaker though is that installing this app caused a glitch in my YouTube app where the control overlay on the videos never disappeared. uninstalling Navbar apps returned all to normal. (Samsung s9 plus)

Please make the buttons appear WHITE when the navbar is adapted to the color of a current active app that it's in and NOT GREY...I can't see the outline of them so they drown in color of the bar and often I blindly practice-base-guess where to press...Thanks!
